Last week's show is here: http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2013/03/wwe-saturday-morning-slam-362013.html
The Great Khali vs Primo and Epico
"A bit of hesitation from the two fiery uh spitfire balls." - Brad |
"Josh, there's going to be a lot of new rules and regulations here on Saturday Morning Slam.." - Brad "Yeah, thanks to our new General..." - Josh "Assistant Manager to the GM, Brad Maddox." - Brad |
"No, don't do it again." - Brad |
The pin |
Foley was getting interviewed when Sandow interrupted. He thought he should have been the GM and insulted Foley. Foley asked him if ever read Sense and Sensibility and Sandow said he did, but Miz walked in. Miz said that Foley was smart and Foley said he was getting the sense that they didn't like each other, so he made the match.
"I actually really liked Sense and Sensibility." - Natalya "I never read it." - Foley |
Damien Sandow vs The Miz
"Mr. Mizanin is the living embodiment of Jack of All Trades, Master of None." - Damien Sandow |
"He's read over 1000 books in his lifetime. It's a number I hope to acheive, right after we get done here." - Brad |
Foley was trying to learn the Gangnam style dance when the PTP's came in. They had to show Foley their dance and both teams argued. Foley then said they should wrestle next week to see who is better.
"Next week, right here.." - Foley "In the locker room?" - Brodus "No, in the ring, right there, on Saturday Morning Slam." - Foley |
Overall thoughts: The show was okay. Miz/Sandow was okay to good but the opener stunk. Foley was entertaining throughout as was Brad Maddox.
