Natsupoi vs. Anne Kanaya

AK hits running dropkicks and Poi no sells them. Poi dropkicks her in return. Poi hits mounted chest forearms on her then AK does the same. AK hits more chest forearms. AK la magistral's her for 2. AK tries another pin and cradles her. Poi crossbodies her and AK rolls her up for another 2. 

Poi slam her and basement dropkicks her in the back of the neck. Poi then armbars her. Poi kicks her in the hand and stomps her. Poi hits chest forearms. AK casadora armdrags her and basement dropkicks her. AK top rope plancha's her outside. 

AK basement dropkicks her for 2. Poi germans her. AK hits chest forearms and Poi chest forearms her down. AK slaps her and Poi tells her to do it again. AK hits a bunch of slaps and flails on her wildly. Poi no sells it. She slaps her and superkicks her down. Poi dropkicks her through he ropes for 2. AK bulldogs her and slams her for 2. 

AK hits mounted chest forearms. Poi germans her twice for 2. Poi cartwheel splashes her off the top for 2. AK rolls her up for 2. AK leg drops her for a 2 count. Poi superkicks her. Poi headbutts her then hits a ranhei. Poi pins her.

Thoughts: It was an okay rookie vs vet match. Anne showed some spirit and got put down as expected. Anne continues to look pretty good as a rookie and will be one to keep an eye on.

Poi carries Anne out on her back after. 

Matoi Hamabe & Saori Anou vs. Ema Maishima & Waka Tsukiyama

SA and Waka go at it. SA backs up Waka on the ropes. Waka offers a handshake then shotei's her. Waka knocks her over. SA is tripped into the ropes. Waka hip attacks her there. Waka hits hip attacks. Waka runs at her with one and is kicked in the butt. SA ties her up in the ropes and spanks her. SA and Matoi dropkick Waka in the butt together for 2. 

Matoi does shoulder throws on Waka for 2. Matoi slams her then flipping sentons her for 2. Waka gets on her back and pulls her arms. Waka hip attacks her on the ropes. Ema dropkicks Matoi in the back on the ropes. Ema then crabs Matoi. 

They trade chest forearms. Ema gets the edge. Matoi running dropkicks her. SA comes in and basement dropkicks Ema. Ema dropkicks SA down for 2. SA goes up and over and fisherman suplexes her. SA does a heavenly lock on Ema and Waka breaks it up. 

Matoi dropkicks Waka. SA top rope dropkicks Ema then fisherman suplexes her for 2. Waka flying headscissors SA then slingblades her for 2. Ema misses a slingblade and SA backslides her with a bridge. SA pins Ema.

Thoughts: It was fine. They kept it moving. The rookies did their part and it was acceptable for the spot on the card it had. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Hina vs. Rian

They lock up. Hina clean breaks her on the ropes. Ri stomps her foot and wristlocks her. Hina spinning slams her. Hina flying knees her in the corner for 2. Hina crabs her. Ri ropebreaks. 

Ri hits chest forearms. Hina chest forearms her back. Ri crossbodies her. Ri basement dropkicks her over the bottom rope. Ri then crossbodies her for 2. Hina hip throws her and rock bottoms her for 2. Hina STF's her and Ri ropebreaks.

They chest forearm each other. Ri stomps her foot and Hina chest forearms her. Hina hits more chest forearms. Ri stomps on her foot. Ri headscissors her out of the corner and basement dropkicks her for 2. Ri then grounded sleepers her. 

Ri hits double fisherman suplexes for 2. Ri stunners her and flips over her back with a backslide. Ri gets a 2 count on her. Hina suplexes her and Ri no sells it. Ri cradles her for 2 counts. Hina does a jackhammer but RI no sells it and rolls her up for 2. 

Hina spinning forearms her. Hina magic screws her for 2. Hina top rope splashes her and pins her.

Thoughts: Rian did some no selling here which I didn't like at all. She got more offense than usual in though and is trying. She's gotta improve though and get past the rookie stuff. It was interesting and I'd say it was acceptable. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Lady C vs. Azusa Inaba

AI hits her in the gut and side headlocks her. C shoulders her over. AI superkicks her in the face and stands on her in the corner. AI kicks her in the back and PK's her for 2. 

They forearm each other. AI facekicks her. C reverse giant swings her and sitout drops her for 2. C does a grounded sleeper and AI ropebreaks. AI chest kicks her and drops her with one. AI swinging neckbreakers her for 2. C running facekicks AI then AI bodyscissors takedowns her. AI pump kicks her and C facekicks her. AI pump kicks her down. 

AI underhook suplexes her. AI hits chest forearms. C drops her chest first on the mat for 2. AI drops her with a high kick then backdrop her. C chokeslams her for 2. AI backslides her for 2. C running facekicks her. C hits a big chokeslam and pins her.

Thoughts: It didn't get that much time. C's chokeslam at the end was nice and I feel like AI hit a shoot high kick at one point that wasn't actually supposed to land. It was not bad.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Natsuko Tora vs. Akira Kurogane

AK running dropkicks her from behind before the bell. AK running back elbows her in the corner then low dropkicks her. Tora shoulders her over three times in a row. AK hits chest forearms. Tora corner splashes her ten suplexe her. 

AK running dropkicks her and russian legsweeps her. AK dropkicks her through the ropes. AK clubs on her then running knees her. AK underhook suplexes her for 2. AK misses an enzugiri then Tora short arm lariats her. Tora running lariats her for 2. Tora sentons her for 2.

Tora corner cannonballs her for 2. Tora goes up top and is hit. Tora is knocked off the top and AK double axe handles her on the floor. AK is sent into the seats. Tora throws a chair at her. AK grabs onto her leg outside.

Tora slams her on the stage. AK grabs her as she tries to get in and prevents her from beating the count. They go to a double countout.

Thoughts: It was alright. Akira was the underdog here and got sassy with Tora. Tora bullied around her some. Akira then made her pay by getting her counted out. It made sense and I was fine with this one.

Akira is sent into the seats after and Tora stands on her.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Julia Hart vs. Aya Sakura

The crowd chants for Hart and Aya gets mad. Aya wristlocks her and Hart side headlock takeovers her. Aya does a headscissors out of it and side headlocks her. Aya dropkicks her. Hart throws her down backwards for a 1 count. Hart bangs Aya's face off the buckles and foot chokes her. 

Hart rope walks and pulls Aya's arm down over the top rope for 2. Hart knee drops the arm and straightjacket chokes her. Aya ropebreaks. Hart misses a corner charge and is kicked in the face and the back. Aya 2nd rope dropkicks her for 2. 

They trade forearms for chest kicks. Aya drops her with a chest kick. Hart ddt's her for 2. Hart ties up her arms and does a collar hold on her. Aya ropebreaks. Aya rolls her into a triangle. Aya kicks her in the face. Hart superkicks her and Aya flying kicks her.

Aya misses a corner charge and is put in the tarantula. Aya head kicks her over the 2nd rope. Aya hits more head kicks and step up enzugiri's her for 2. Hart superkicks her and Aya high kicks her down. Hart whips Aya down by the wrist. She ties her arms up and does a collar hold on her. Hart submits her.

Thoughts: Not all of Aya's kicks hit here when they should have. Hart brought very little to do this and just slowed it down here. This was average and not that good. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Starlight Kid vs. Yuna Mizumori

 Kid ducks a lariat. They cartwheel at the same time and Kid twists her leg with her feet. Kid stands on Yuna's knee. Yuna flying double knees her from behind. Yuna hits forearms on her neck from behind then running forearms her in the back of the neck. Yuna legdrops the back of her neck for 2. Yuna armbars Kid and Kid ropebreaks.

Kid is down, Yuna joins her there and they boot each other in the face. Yuna hits a couple of boots to the face. Kid 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Kid hits a big chop on her. Yuna springboard dropkicks her then corner lariats her. Yuna misses a 2nd rope move and Kid cross-legged fisherman suplexes her twice for 2.

Yuna does a pele kick and sliding forearms her for 2. Kid wraps around her and hits a stiff tiger driver. Kid then stretch mufflers her. Yuna ropebreaks. Kid goes up top and is crotched. They trade forearms up top. 

Yuna 2nd rope cradle shocks her for 2. Yuna low diving lariats her from behind. Yuna then hits a big lariat for 2. Kid TTD's her and Yuna reverses the pin attempt for a 2 count. Kid tiger suplexes her and pins her.

Thoughts: Kid did her usual knee work as usual. I thought the 2nd rope cradle shock should have put Kid away. If you were looking for high speed match between these two, this really wasn't it. I thought it was average.

They shake hands after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - AZM vs. Itsuki Aoki

Aoki wants to shake hands and screams. AZM then screams back. 

They lock up and Aoki screams in her ear. Aoki side headlocks her. AZM makes Aoki run the ropes endlessly until she gets tired. AZM boots her in the gut and is shouldered over. Aoki boots her and drinks water. Aoki shoulders her over. 

AZM misses a 2nd rope crossbody then Aoki walks away. AZM hair throws her and stands on her neck on the bottom rope. AZM is thrown down backwards, she kips up and dropkicks Aoki. AZM cranks her arm back and double stomps her. AZM armbars her. 

Aoki blocks a flying headscissors and Aoki rams her back first into the buckles. Aoki corner meteora's her. Aoki 2nd rope splashes her for 2. Aoki STO's her for 2. Aoki double knee drops her. They both get on the 2nd rope and trade forearms. 

Aoki's arm is pulled down over the top rope. Aoki suplexes her on the apron, AZM holds on and suplexes her on the floor. AZM PK's her from the apron. 

Aoki hangs over the 2nd rope and AZM headscissors her down. AZM top rope double stomps her for 2. They trade chest shots and AZM goes down to a chest forearm. Aoki lariats her down. AZM rolls her and pulls back on both arms. AZM really pulls her one arm back. Aoki rolls out to escape and germnas her. Aoki superkicks her in the face for 2.

Aoki air raid crashes her for 2. Aoki comes off the 2nd rope and AZM gets her feet up. AZM rolls her up for 2. AZM high kicks her then germans her. Aoki rebound germans her then lariats her down for 2. Aoki lariats her down. AZM la mistica drops her and rolls her up for the pin.

Thoughts: They screwed around early and I didn't like that. It got a little more serious as it went on but it wasn't quite as good as I had hoped. It was above average but this could have been great.

Aoki offers a handshake after then bites AZM's arm. Aoki then taunts her and throws something at her. AZM grabs her, boots her and walks her to the back.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Konami vs. Saya Iida

Kon wristlocks her and then hammerlocks her. Saya reverses it and is put in a headscissors. Saya shoulders her over. Kon armbars her over the top rope. Saya is sent into the seats. Kon kicks her in the arm. In the ring, Kon kicks her in the back.

Kon wraps her arm around the 2nd rope and pulls. Kon then armbars her and pulls on the fingers. Kon foot chokes her. Saya hits chest forearms. Kon eye rakes her. Saya polish hammers her and elbow drops her for 2. Kon rolls her into an armbar attempt and Saya ropebreaks.

Kon fisherman suplexes her for 2. Kon hits chest kicks and drps her. Saya lariats her and Kon high kicks her. Saya lariats her down. They trade chest kicks for chops. Saya hits chops. Kon sleepers her. Saya swinging side slams her.

Saya goes up top and is thrown down. Kon flying knees her. Kon top rope diving headkicks her for 2. Kon germans her for 2. Saya rolls her up for 2. Kon buzzsaw kicks her then triangle lancers her. Saya tries a bridge pin on her for 2. Saya spinebusters her.

Saya goes up top and diving shoulders her down. Saya final cuts her for 2. Saya corner splashes her. Kon sleepers her. Saya diving lariats her from behind. Kon goes for the armbar again and Saya suplxes her for 2. Kon high kicks her. Saya running lariats her for 2. Saya brainbusters her, botches a 2nd suplex and brainbusters her again for the win.

Thoughts: The crowd was into this one more than I was. Kon did all armwork here. I didn't think Saya got enough exciting or strong offense in to really put this over the top. I thought it was acceptable only.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Momo Watanabe vs. Saya Kamitani

They trade forearms to start. They go out and Momo is sent into the seats. Momo throws a chair at her then throws her into the chairs. They grab each other by the head and trade more forearms outside. Momo's head is banged off a chair. 

Saya is sent into the post. Momo kicks the post when Saya ducks a kick. Saya chokes Momo with a chain then chokes her from the ropes for more leverage. Momo hits Saya in the legs with a baseball bat while she's on the apron. Momo facekicks Saya down. Momo puts Saya in tree of woe and hits kicks while she hangs. Momo slaps her around and Saya headbutts her while hanging. Momo PK's her in the face as she hangs and Saya goes down.

Momo stomps her. Saya hits chest forearms and Momo chest kicks her down. Saya running dropkicks her. Saya springboard plancha's her and Tora outside.  

Saya slingshot splashes Momo. They trade forearms. Momo hits chest kicks. Saya spinning heel kicks her. Momo throws her down from the buckles. Momo slides at her and gets double stomped. Momo goes for a tombstone and they try pin attempts on each other. Momo package tombstones her for 2. Saya flips out of a release suplex and corkscrew kicks her.

Momo uranage's her then 2nd rope meteora's her for 2. Saya hurricanrana's Momo down from the buckles. Saya running facekicks her. Saya overhead suplexes her and fisherman suplexes her. Momo swings a chair at her. Saya chairs her in the gut and Momo half and half suplexes her. 

Momo chairs Saya in the head. Momo wrist-clutch half-nelson suplexes her for 2 when Ruaka pulls the ref out. Momo punts her in the face. The ref gets grabbed and Ruaka hits Momo in the head with a black box on accident. Saya hurricanrana's Momo for 2. 

Saya pump kicks Momo. Saya ki krushers her. Momo no sells it and rolls her up for 2. Saya kicks her in the chest and the time limit runs out. This is a time limit draw.

Thoughts: They were having a decent match and it got bogged down by heel shenanigans. The ref was dumb as usual and did absolutely nothing about wrestlers pulling him away from counts and touching him. This also went to a draw so we didn't get a real finish and that hurt this one too. What I was seeing up until the end when the shenanigans started looked okay, but they didn't give us a proper ending. 

The girls stare down after and hug. They each talk on the mic and raise each other's hands with their stablemates.

Overall thoughts: I thought the undercard was better than the top of the card here. Some of the top GP matches should have been a lot better than they were. I honestly liked Poi/Anne and Tora/Akira best here. I'd give it a lower 6 out of 10 overall and would say the show was acceptable.
