AEW Brawl in the Ballpark 7/10/2026

Note - This was first aired on 8/23/2026 at 6pm against TNA Lockdown 2026.

We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a baseball stadium. Tony Schiavone and Ian Riccaboni are on commentary.

Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta

They lock up. Yuta backs him up on the ropes and boots him. Yuta chops him and slams him. Yuta side headlocks him then shoulders him over. OC slingshots over the top and diving armdrags him off a hiptoss attempt. Yuta springboard diving armdrags him and they armdrag each other. OC then escapes an armdrag and puts his hands in his pockets. 

Yuta puts a full nelson on him and OC puts his hands in his pockets. OC dropkicks him and kips up with his hands in his pockets. OC casadora rolls him for 2. Yuta dropkicks him. 

Yuta suplexes him. Yuta hits mounted corner punches and eye rakes him. Yuta knee drops him for 2. Yuta legdrops him and front facelocks him. Yuta suplexes him. OC stunners him off a suplex attempt. OC misses a corner charge. Yuta chops him. Yuta's head is banged off the buckles. 

OC goes up top and is crotched. Yuta knee drops him. Yuta goes up top and OC rolls to the other side. Yuta hits downward elbows. Yuta comes off the top and OC gets his feet up on him. OC topes him outside. OC top rope crossbodies him and then spinning ddt's him. OC hits an orange punch and pins him.

Thoughts: OC won as expected. I would have liked this more without the pockets spots, but this is what OC does. It wasn't that bad otherwise.

Komander & Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) vs. Action Andretti & The Opps (Anthony Bowens & Hook)

Kom rope walks and springboard flips in. The faces and heels compete for cheers. 

AB and Kom lock up. AB side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Kom rolls over him and is hit with kicks. AB over the back fameassers him. Kom flying headscissors him. AA and Dante get in. AA rolls and headflips out of a wristlock. Dante then goes to pose on the buckles.

Dante flying knees AA then standing moonsaults him for 2. AA side headlocks him then walks on him when he drops down. Dante facebusters him. AA takes an atomic drop into a flying shoulder from Darius. AA uses the hair to side headlock him.

AA flips over Darius and back elbows him. Hook gets in. Darius waistlock takedowns him and they trade front facelocks on the mat. AB kicks Darius from the apron. Hook trips Darius then underhook suplexes him. AA boots Darius in the corner and foot chokes him.

AA euros Darius outside and sends him into the rails. Hook then pounds on Darius outside. AA slams Darius and springboard tornillo splashes him for 2. AB hits elbows on Darius' neck. AB side headlocks Darius. 

AB throws Darius down backwards. Darius misses a 2nd rope dive and goes into the mat. Darius pele kicks AA. Kom springboard diving headscissors AA. Kom hits spin kicks on AB and springboard dropkicks him. Kom springboard dropkicks Hook off the apron. Kom top rope 450's AA for 2.

Everyone fights and 4 of the 6 go out. Hook shakes the ropes on Kom while he's up top. Kom is triple teamed in the ring. Hook exploder Kom and AA gets a 2 count off of it. The faces hit superkicks on the heels.

Kom corner splashes AB. The faces pretend to hit baseballs, run around the ring and hit baseball slides/basement dropkicks on AB. 

Hook hits lariats on Top Flight and overhead suplexes Kom. Darius bottom rope swinging flatliners Hook. AA backflips into a cutter on Darius. Everyone starts hitting a move in sequence. Kom headscissors AB over the top rope. Kom rope walk springboard corkscrew dives outside. AA takes a double team double arm ddt and is pinned by Dante.

Thoughts: It was alright. They had some fun with the crowd, took it easy and flew around a bit. I had no real issues with it and it worked out fine.

Hyan vs. Julia Hart

Hart chops Hyan. Hart drops down and cradles her for 2. Hart throws her down backwards. Hyan running dropkicks Hart then PK's her from the apron. Hyan gets sent into the steps twice. Hart back elbows her for 2 and chinlocks her. Hyan is sent face first into the 2nd buckle.

Hart ddt's her for 2. Hart double boots her out of the corner. Hyan sunset bombs Hart off the 2nd rope for 2. Hyan running knees her in the corner and rolls her up for 2. They roll each other up for 2 counts. Hart does an octopus on Hyan and Hyan taps out.

Thoughts: It was shorter than it should have been and wasn't anything special. Hart's offense wasn't that great and Hyan never got a great comeback in. 

Brian Cage vs. Serpentico

They lock up, Cage shoves him down and poses. Cage sits him up top. Serp tries to shove him and gets knocked down when he tries to shoulderblock him. Serp tries a flying shoulder and tries chops that don't work. Cage hits a bunch of corner lariats on Serp. 

Cage drops Serp with a chop. Cage running euros him and release germans him. Serp's crossbody is caught and Cage fallaway slams him. Serp superkicks him in the gut and face. Cage misses a corner splash, is enzugiri'd from behind, is headscissored then takes a jumping flatliner for 1. Serp superkicks Cage in the head.

Cage F-5's Serp. Serp 2nd rope deadlift superplexes him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was all squash here as it should have been. Serp got a little in but was largely ineffective before being put down.  

Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor) vs. The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin)

Carlie Bravo gets on the mic before his match. He says to give a round of applause for the best team in baseball, The Los Angeles Angels. Shane says The Vikings and Timberwolves suck and Bravo puts over Kevin Garnett leaving Minnesota. Shane tells Shelton Benjamin to come out. MVP is not with The Hurt's.

Lee teases locking up with SB and backs out of the ring. Lee side headlocks SB. SB shoulders him over. Lee trips to grab him by the leg and gets nowhere. Lee chops him and SB chops him down. Lee then sides out. SB chases him then he gets stomped in the ring. Lee foot chokes him and pose at Bob.

Bravo then hits cheap shots on SB. SB back body drops Lee. Lee's head is banged off the buckles and Bob hits back elbows and spears on Lee. Lee pulls Bob's arm over the top rope and works on it. Bob delay suplexes him. 

Shane comes in and tries to shoulder Bob over. SB forearms him. Bob then shoulders him over. Shane goes out and Bob hits shots on him. Bravo grabs SB then pounds on him with Shane in front of the ref. 

Shane headbutts Bob outside. Shane misses a corner splash and Bob corner lariats him. Bob hits mounted corner punches on Shane. Bravo trips Bob. Bob grabs him and Shane nails Bravo on accident. Shane avoids a full nelson and hits back elbows on Bob. Shane corner lariats Bob. 

Shane clubs on Bob in the corner. Bob hits punches and Shane headbutts him. Shane uranage's him and splashes him for 2. Shane misses a 2nd rope splash. Bob crossbodies Shane. Lee tags in as does SB. SB shoulders Lee over and corner splashes him. SB suplexes Lee then step up knees Shane. 

Lee chopblocks SB and ankle locks him. SB then ankle locks him. Bob flatliners Shane. SB lariats Lee over the top rope. Bravo gets in the ring and puts his hands on The Hurt's for a double chokeslam attempt. Bravo can't do it and is thrown out onto Lee. Shane then bumps too for no real reason.

Shane forearms SB and Lee STO's SB. SB germans Shane. Bob full nelson's Lee and SB step up knees Shane in the corner. Bob spears Shane and SB pins Shane.

Thoughts: I didn't lie it. Bravo hit the faces in front of the ref and the ref didn't care. It went long and it was slower. I didn't think The Hurt's got enough in after. And while this was taped, they chose a bad time to air this as Shane's crew is currently in a business agreement with The Hurt's in storyline.

Bravo grabs The Hurt's after. Orange Cassidy comes in and pushes Bravo for some reason. The Hurt's then raise OC's arms. 

Overall thoughts: OC vs Yuta wasn't bad but had the usual OC pockets spots which I didn't like. Top Flight's match was fine. Julia Hart and Bryan Cage basically won squashes. The main wasn't that good as the heels should have been DQ'd and it went too long. It was also slower paced. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was average overall. There was nothing you need to see here.
