AAA on Fox 2/7/2026

AAA on Fox 2/7/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/02/aaa-on-fox-1312025.html

We are in Queretaro, Mexico. Corey Graves, JBL and Rey Mysterio are on commentary.

Dom is on the phone in the back. El Ojo arrive. Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana are flirting in the seats. Ethan Page arrives. Page talks to Chelsea Green on the phone. Green isn't here and Page is upset. El Grande Americano arrives as does Rey Fenix. Dragon Lee arrives.

Dominik Mysterio comes out to talk. He says he is the owner of Triple A and makes the rules, not Marisela Pena. He says nobody has given the company the position he has given it. He says nobody has taken the title to Raw each week like him. He says when he beat Cena at Survivor Series, the title was in the ring so the whole world could see it.

He says AAA is on Fox and they are exploding. He asks if the crowd thinks that is due to Vikingo and Dorian? He says all of this is thanks to him. He says we are in a new era - the era of Dominik Mysterio. He says he's the king of the luchadores.

El Ojo come out. Dorian says we are in a new era that nobody could have imagined. He says he's one of the biggest and richest businessmen in Mexico. He says he invested his money well with the best wrestler Mexico has given - Hijo del Vikingo.

Vikingo says Dom's end has come and it has a date on 3/14 at Rey de Reyes in Puebla. He says Dom is the worst of the Mysterio's and he's the best in the world. Vikingo asks what he thinks will happen in Puebla. Dom says he will kick his @ss in front of his family. Vikingo questions this and says there is no way Dom will beat him. Vikingo says let's do something more interesting for the match. He says let's put Dom's hair on the line in the match. Vikingo says he will give him 2 weeks to think about it.

Ethan Page asks Chelsea Green where she is and says he doesn't get why she's not here. Green shows him that she has an injured foot. La Hiedra comes up to him. She says no one knows the importance of the titles more than her and says vamonos. Page questions what she means, she spanks him and she will be filling in for Green.

We see clips from The Royal Rumble and see some of the AAA stars in it.

AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title Match - Ethan Page & La Hiedra (c) vs. Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana

La Hiedra is substituting for Chelsea Green, who is injured. La Hiedra was trying to get with Iguana along with Lola so that should play a role in this. I don't expect Page's team to win here.

Iguaan stares down with Page. Page side headlocks him. Page wristlocks him. Iguana rolls out and trips him. Iguana then crucifixes him for 2. Iguana back rolls and spinning ddt's Page.

The girls tag in. Lola hits a kick combo on Hiedra then dances with Iguana. Page takes a double hip attack and stink face in the corner. Lola suplexes Hiedra for 2. Lola chops Hiedra then seated springboard armdrags her. Lola pump kicks her out. Lola la silla's her off the apron.

Hiedra bangs Lola's head off the steps and hip attacks her there. Hiedra rolling snapmares her and basement dropkicks her. Hiedra bangs Lola's arm off the mat then wristlocks her. Hiedra knees her in the gut and Lola backdrops her. The men tag in. Iguana flying headscissors Page then springboard 2nd rope twisting headbutts him. Iguana pop-up hurricanrana's Page for 2. Iguana dropkicks Page and Hiedra blind tags in.

Hiedra tries to kiss Iguana and Iguana stops her. Iguana rolls into a slingshot diving headscissors on Page outside. Lola rolls up Hiedra then Hiedra flatliners her. Hiedra stands on Lola and Iguana distracts her on the apron with La Yesca. Page grabs La Yesca and Hiedra is pushed into him. Lola spinning roundhouse kicks Hiedra and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a short and entertaining battle with the Iguana/Lola/Hiedra love triangle playing into things. It didn't go long and everyone hit their stuff clean so it worked out just fine. I do think they could have played off the love triangle a bit more.

Hiedra and Page argue on the ramp and are upset about losing.

El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio talk in the back. Dom asks if Grande is a fan of his dad. Grande says he respects him.  Dom says something about Rey de Reyes and leaves. The Original El Grande Americano then jumps Grande II. He handcuffs him to something then takes the key. Grande II calls for help it looks like Original Grande will take his place. Rey didn't translate this one for us.

Next week's show has The War Raiders vs Los Americanos vs Money Machine. It also has Jack Cartwheel vs La Parka in a Rey de Reyes Qualifier.

In two weeks, we have a contract signing between Dom and Vikingo for Rey de Reyes.

Rey de Reyes 2026 Qualifying Four Way Match - Octagon Jr. vs. Rey Fenix vs. Dragon Lee vs. Original El Grande Americano

Original El Grande takes the place of El Grande Americano here. The announcers argue over which Grande is which.

Grnde poses and is triple teamed. Grande is then thrown out. Oct is lifted into a flying headscissors on Lee. Oct spinning bodyscissors Rey. Grandetrips Oct and sends him into the steps. Grande hits hiptosses on Rey and Lee. Grande koppo kicks Oct on the apron. Grande gets booed then takes double sandwich superkick.

Lee and Rey stare down. Lee goes for destino and they double clothesline each other. Grande top rope diving lariats both. Oct springboard dropkicks Grande. Oct springboard neckbreakers Rey, making him ddt Lee. Oct then triangle springboard tornillo's Grande outside.

Oct is on Rey's shoulders and Rey powerbombs him down. Rey tornillo's Lee outside. Grande crotches Rey up top. Grande superplexes him for 2. Grande hits chops. We see people trying to help Grande II get un-handcuffed in the back. Original Grande dances in the ring. Lee slingshots in and is caught with a northern lights suplex by Grande.

Grande rips at Rey's mask on the buckles. Grande over the shoulder ddt's Rey. Grande bangs Lee's head off the commentary table then running dropkicks Oct outside. Grande foot chokes Rey. Grande misses a top rope moonsault and Lee dropkicks him. Lee superkicks Oct.

Rey is back body dropped out by Lee. Lee is kicked while up top. Oct is stuck in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him down. Lee then tope con hilos Rey outside. Lee corner dropkicks Oct. Grande rolls up Lee for 2.

Lee styles clashes Grande for 2. Rey and Lee trade forearms. Lee facekicks him and pump kicks him. Rey swing kicks him in the face. Oct is up top and Rey facekicks him. Oct pump kicks him and poisonrana's him. Grande germans Oct then germans Oct and Rey together. Lee superkicks Grande.

Lee take an overhead belly to belly suplex into the buckles from Grande. Grande ankle locks Rey. Oct goes up top and 450's Grande for 2. Grande II is still trying to get free in the back and Los Americano's can't cut the handcuff chain.

Rey hits kicks and enzugiri on Oct. Rey springboard spin kicks Lee in the face then neckbreakers him. Rey rolls into a shotei on Oct on the buckles. Rey rope walk kicks Grande. Rey mexican muscle busters Oct for 2. Rey tries to pull Grande's mask off on the apron. Grande upkicks him. Lee jumps over the top and headscissors Rey off the apron.

Grande loads his mask up. He headbutts Lee down. Oct top rope moonsaults but Grande headbutts him in mid-air. Grande top rope splashes Oct and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was an okay high flying match here as expected with everyone hitting their spots. I thought Oct looked good here and it's always good to see him get a shot. The crowd hated this Grande. Grande got the win which should lead to some fun with his clone.

El Grande Americano II comes out and chases Original El Grande Americano away. Grande II wants to fight and Original Grande retreats up the ramp. Graves wonders which Grande goes to Rey de Reyes.

Overall thoughts: The show continues to remain maybe the most fun wrestling show each week. Once we get translations/subtitles for everything, the show will be even better. They just have a nice cast of characters to work with, the announcers have a good time and there's a lot of high flying action. The stories are simple and easy to get and things really couldn't be going much better right now. We had two new matches and both were fine with the main being the better of the two. The Grande vs Grande feud is entertaining stuff. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall and thought it was good.
