Reality of Wrestling 11/16/2025 PLATINUM Episode 17

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/reality-of-wrestling-11192025-glory.html

Brad Gilmore, Chris Russo and Carolina Teague are on commentary.

Two wrestlers I think from La Familia meet up in the parking lot. Jay Alexander is returning and the other guy with the glasses (Ayden Cristiano) says he hopes there's no hard feelings about him sending him away. I think Jonathan Vega comes in and says they got a tag title match with The Command tonight. Ayden asks if he saw the size of Luther and says they don't need this.

Danny Limelight is in the car on the phone. He says you are either in or out. He says he's got the money for him and says he will make him the next big star. He says if you help him with his problem, he will make sure his pockets stay fat.

We cut to the announcers. They talk about Jordan Oasis vs Danny Limelight.

ROW Tag Titles - The Command (Terrell Tempo and Big Luther) vs La Familia (Jonathan Vega and Jay Alexander)

The Command have a new theme with the lyrics talking about them which is cool.

Tempo and Vega go at it. Temp shoves him down. Vega hits boots and forearms. Vega headlock takeovers him then dropkicks him. Tempo euros him. Tempo does his suplex into a kip up then he elbow drops Vega.

Jay and Temp go at it. Jay piefaces him and takes euros. Jay overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Jay calls for Luther to get in. They talk trash and Jay rips his shirt off. They trade shots. Luther shoulders him over. Luther double chops him hard in the corner.

Luther lifts him by the throat. Jay boots him in the knee. Jay puts Luther in the fireman's carry. Luther then slams him. Vega is stuck up top and Luther throws him down. Luther hits a sky high on Vega and wins.

Thoughts:
It was basically a short squash here. Luther was over big and really comes off like a star.

Tyra Mae Steele from WWE is interviewed. She says she's excited to be here and wants to wrestle the best. She says it'll be awesome to wrestle Monica Monroe. She says she wants to throw her, slam her and pin her and it's just what she has to do to win. She then asks the announcer to hold her gold medal.

"Ladybird" Monica Monroe vs Tyra Mae Steele

Tyra waistlock takedowns MM. Tyra goes for the ankle lock and MM rolls her up into a pin attempt. Tyra takes her down by the arm and they do amateur wrestling. Tyra spins to keep the hold on. Tyra trips herthen rolls her around by the legs. Tyra does a pin attempt.

MM takes her down and rides her back. MM then shoves and piefaces her. Tyra takes her down and does a front facelock. Tyra then rides her back and shoves her. MM is tied up in the ropes and forearms her. MM trips her and slingshot swantons her for 2.

MM euros her and rolls her into a pumping knee for 2. MM hits a hard dropkick. MM misses an asai moonsault. Tyra hits lariats on her. Tyra headbusters her then pop-up drops her. Tyra hip attacks her out of the corner. MM superkicks her. Tyra then does a gutwrench slam and wins.

Thoughts: As I've said before, the one problem with WWE people coming is that they are winning 99% of the time. People like Monica Monroe don't exactly need the loss because they have to be here every week and Tyra may not return. They didn't really get much of a rhythm going in this one. I liked the amateur wrestling segment though. Tyra's still not where they want her to be. I think she can be a likeable face though someday if they can figure it out with her.

Two of the refs talk about a recent match involving Promise Braxton and Kiah Dream. ROW GM Andrew Jackson comes in. He said they did their job and says to keep up the good work.

Emily Mae is in the parking lot. She says Danny Limelight has not been answering his phone and they can't reach him. They think the title match may not happen.

Andrew Jackson comes out with security. He says safety is a big priority here. He says Ryan Davidson has been running rampant around here and wanted time to get it off his chest. Andrew brings out Ryan. Ryan comes out and beats up the security guards. He tells Andrew that if he doesn't fix this, this will not end.

Jordan Oasis is interviewed. He apparently won a powerslap match and is congratulated. He says doing things for the first time can be terrifying. He says getting on the stage there opened up something new inside of him. He says what's not new is that Danny Limelight will do anything to keep his title. He says there's no more tricks or games, it's him and Jordan's right hand. Jordan says he will walk out as ROW champ tonight.

ROW Title - Danny Limelight (c) vs Jordan Oasis

JO backs him up and Danny hides in the ropes. Danny then slides out and stalls. JO follows him and chops him outside. JO drops Danny with punches then backbreakers him. JO lariats him out of the corner for 1. JO slams him and kicks him in the back. JO sentons him for 2.

JO misses a cannonball against the ropes. Danny PK's him from the apron. Danny stomps him and hits kicks to the chest. JO chokes him in the corner and chops him. Danny kicks and boots him. Danny chinlocks him. JO hits forearms and Danny dropkicks him.

Danny fling corner lariats him. Danny slingshot swantons him for 2. Danny slaps him in the back of the head and in the face. JO then drops him with a slap. JO drops him with a punch and corner lariats him. JO backdrops him then hits his blackout cannonball on the ropes.

JO lariats him from behind and pins him with Danny's foot under the bottom rope.

The other ref comes out and shows the original ref that his foot is under the bottom rope. They say the match will continue.

JO rolls him up for 2. Danny grabs powder and hits JO with it in the eyes. Danny does a one arm pedigree and pins him.

Thoughts
: Jordan shouldn't of won here and thankfully he didn't. This should set up things for a rematch which would be fine and maybe set the stage for a title stage. The match was fine but nothing too memorable or anything. Jordan seems to be incorporating some slaps into his offense from Powerslap.

Overall thoughts: There were 3 new matches here. All were acceptable but nothing was must see. They rarely have bad matches here though and it's a watchable and usually unoffensive show. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 total.
