We are in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect are our hosts.  Perfect talks about it being National Nude Day. He says Boss Man has been exposed and that's the bare truth.

Barry Hardy & Kerry Davis vs. The Legion Of Doom (Animal & Hawk)

Rocco the dummy makes his first appearance with the LOD on Superstars here. Barry is thrown out then Davis takes a lariat. Paul Ellering talks through Rocco then Hawk boots and chops a jobber over. Hawk hits a gutwrench suplex then first drops him. Hawk hits a standing dropkick.

Hawk then chinlocks the jobber and lets the jobber tag out. Hawk shoulders over Hardy. Animal then hits a powerslam. Animal hits a running corner lariat then a jobber takes a doomsday device and is pinned.

Thoughts: Rocco is way worse than he seems. The LOD are supposed to be these big tough guys and Paul Ellering is cracking jokes with the dummy during the match. It's completely awful and just kills everything The LOD is doing. Vince had to be on some major drugs here to think this was a good idea.

WWF Update

Mean Gene Okerlund shills ICOPRO. Gene says Mountie's new shockstick is called "The Great American Scream Machine". Gene says Jack Tunney has threatened action against Mountie if he uses it.

The Mountie and Jimmy Hart do a promo.Hart says Sarge got in Mountie's way and paid the price. Mountie says Sarge knows what's he's all about and said Sarge should command himself to stay out of The Mountie's way.

Shawn Michaels vs. Chico Martinez

Shawn poses in his mirror behorehand. SM hits a snapmare and shoulders Chico over. He then flying knees Chico. SM bends over and is kicked by Chico. SM boots and clubs on Chico. Shawn Michaels and Sherri do an inset promo. Shawn talks to his mirror and says soon there will be no belt in Bret Hart's reflection as he will take the IC Title.

Chico's face is put into the mirror then SM superkicks him. Chico takes a backdrop and SM pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash that put over Shawn's new cocky character. His superkick looked great here. 

WWF Event Center

Rick Martel says he's making headlines and covers of magazines. He says it's no surprise his new look with Tatanka's feather is a hit. He says people love everything he does and says. He says Tatanka is jealous as his feather looks better on him. He tells him to come and get it as he is waiting for him. He says he will lose more than a few feathers next time.

Virgil does a promo. He says there's a lot of tough guys in the WWF like Papa Shango and Nailz. He says Nailz handcuffed his friend The Big Boss Man and beat him like a dog. He says every dog has his day. He also talks about Kamala. He says Kamala likes to splash on people and says he can splash him if he can. He says he likes to pick up the garbage around the neighborhood and sees 3 big trash cans. 

We get a tribute video to Macho Man with his theme music and various clips.

The Undertaker vs. Bruce Mitchell

Taker grabs BM by the throat, chokeslams him and chokes him. Taker hits a shot to the throat. Taker ropewalks and clubs BM. Taker then hits his tombstone and wins.

Thoughts: It was just a quick one here designed to get Taker out there because...

The Berzerker and Mr. Fuji come out. Fuji throws salt in Paul Bearer's eyes. Berz teases getting in. Taker grabs Fuji as Berz hits Taker from behind. Berz hits some shots and taker no sells them. Taker grabs Berz by the throat. Fuji then hits Taker in the back with the cane, but Taker isn't bothered. Fuji and Berz then head out. Berz throws salt in Taker's eyes but Taker doesn't even go down.

Thoughts: I like them protecting Taker, but they are going too far here when salt and canes have no real effect on him. 

WWF Event Center

Skinner does a promo. He says Jack Tunney reminded him of a Florida game warden with fines. He says his earring came out of a 12 foot alligator that he yanked the tooth out of. He says Jack has a lot of tough guys here but they aren't tough enough. He says Jack can drop dead with his fines as he will keep kicking butt.

Bret Hart does a promo. He says when you have the Intercontinental Title, the pressure is on. He says the competitors are getting tough and fierce. He says Shawn Michaels is the first to come to mind. He says he has a problem and it's his ego. He tells Shawn to bring his tramp Sherri and his mirror as he will be up against the excellence of execution.

El Matador vs. Duane Gill

Gill charges at Tito and Tito pulls the cape away. Tito drops down then Gill misses a flying move and goes into the ropes. Tito side headlocks him. Tito drops Gill with a punch. Tito side headlocks him.

Gill hits some shots to the gut and the head. Tito fires back with his own gut and head shots. Tito back body drops him. Tito knee lifts him then flying forearms him in the back of the head to win. Vince calls it the "paso del monte".

Thoughts: It was somewhat even so I was alright with this one. Gill showed some fire here. 

Mean Gene Okerlund interviews Kim Chee, Harvey Wippleman and Kamala on the stage. Gene tells Harvey that Kamala is nothing more than a savage. Harvey tells him to watch his mouth. He says Kamala is restless and keeps poking Gene. Gene tells him he will be in a heap of trouble if he keeps it up. Harv tells Gene to get on his knees and beg for mercy as Kamala threatens him with the spear. Gene does. Harvey threatens him and Gene gets off the stage. We see some kid crying in the audience.

Tatanka vs. The Dublin Destroyer

They lock up and Tat shoves Dublin. Tat side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Tat chops him down then hits a nice back body drop. Tat does an inset promo. He says as Rick Martel walks with his feathers, this buffalo will run over him and make him extinct. Tat hits a back elbow, a slam and a nice elbow drop.

Tat then suplexes him and hits a big chop. Tat hits a chop off the top rope then samoan drops Dublin for the win.

Thoughts: It was all squash but I liked it. Dublin bumped well for Tat and it looked more impressive with his size. Tat was moving well here also.

We get an ad for WBF Bodystars. 

Nailz vs. Rick Johnson

Nailz nails Rick from behind then chokes him. Nailz back elbows him in the corner then slams him. Nailz then chokes him more. Nailz lariats and chokes him. Nailz chinlocks Rick and chokes him out to win.

Thoughts: It was a short one here. Nailz did mostly all choking here but that's the character they were going for - a tough prison guy and not a technical wrestler.

Nailz hits Ric with the nightstick after then chokes him with it.  

Lord Alfred Hayes talks about Summerslam and London. He says Summerslam will be direct from London, England. This is our first mention on Superstars of this.

Howard Finkel tells us that Shawn Michaels has left the building.

Money Inc. (Irwin R. Schyster & Ted DiBiase) vs. Angel Vega & Bobby Perez 

Perfect says these guys are a great combo and Vince asks if he means Vegas and Perez. IRS says he's sick of people saying the recession is killing them and tells them to look in the mirror and says they won't be a tax cheat.

IRS bangs one of the jobber's heads off the buckle then euros him. Money Inc split the jobber's legs and do a promo. IRS says The Natural Disasters have a better chance of winning the big pay off in Las Vegas than they do of beating them for the tag titles. Ted says, "The buck stops here."

Ted bangs a jobber's head off the buckles then hits a back body drop. IRS hits a nice flying lariat then Ted gets the win with the million dollar dream.

Thoughts: It was a short one and there wasn't much time left after the inset promo.

Ted shoves a $100 bill in a jobber's mouth after. We then cut to a fan with a Canadian $100 bill.

We get a Razor Ramon vignette. He's at a restaurant with pink flamingo's. He says nothing is too good for him. He says some people in the WWF have been putting him down, saying he's not good enough. He asks if they think he is some kind of pig or animal. He says they are scared and afraid of him. Razor is given the bill and he holds the waiter's hand down. He says if people find out he eats here, they will line up down the street. He asks if he should wash the dishes or mop the floor. He says maybe he should pick the food from his teeth. He asks if he wants him to clean the table for him. He then cleans the table and throws everything on the floor.

WWF Event Center

High Energy do a promo. Owen calls The Nasty Boys fat. He says they are always moving, grooving and going to the top. he says to come find them if they want a piece. Koko says The Nasty Boys and Money Inc. are looking for them. Owen says The Nasty's may be rough and tough but don't sell them short as they are going to the top.

The Berzerker and Mr. Fuji do a promo. Fuji says Berz will make anyone suffer. Berz says the people who know the toughest wrestler in the WWF is. He says Taker had a taste of him and asks how it feels to have his flesh beaten up, dragged down and kicked down. He says he can't and won't be stopped. 

The announcers run down next week's show which will have an interview with The Big Boss Man. They will also announce the main event of Summerslam 1992.

Thoughts: I obviously know who gets picked for the main, but if I pretend I don't, I can tell you it would not be Bret vs Bulldog. I'd assume it was either Flair vs Macho or Bret vs Shawn, since that's where all the focus has been. 

Overall thoughts: It was all squashes here but it was a fast moving show and one of the easier editions to get through. Rocco is such a terrible fit for the LOD. Kamala's segment where he and his crew threatened Gene was something different. Razor had another vignette where he bullied around people and we got more pushes for Tatanka/Martel and Bret/Shawn. There was nothing you really need to see here though.
