Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-smackdown-10172025.html
We are in Perth, Australia and we are not live.
We get a Saudi Arabia video with people in a limo going to a place called the "WWE Experience". They take the Crown Jewel titles and put them in briefcases. The titles are flown 7,065 miles to Perth, Australia.
The men's Crown Jewel Title is in a case in the ring. Cody Rhodes comes out. Cody says they could talk about Seth Rollins. He says Seth is becoming Roman and says he might he or Crown Jewel might be Seth's Achilles heel. He says Seth might not like the QB moniker, but it's a shared name. Cody says the WWE team is the greatest team ever assembled. He says if he's not pulling his weight, someone else can any night. He says he's talking about people like Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley and CM Punk. The crowd chants and Cody asks Cole to tell him what they are saying. Cody then throws Cole the mic. Wade says the crowd is saying, "Seth Rollins is a wanker".
Cody says the world revolves around Seth. He says he has to be "the" wrestler in Seth's world. He says he's the one guy Seth cannot beat.
Thoughts: I didn't like this that much. It was all over the place and not that well structured.
We see various wrestlers arrive. The Street Profits play with the crowd outside.
Stephanie Vaquer is in the back and Chelsea green goes up to her. she says she remembers what it felt like when she became the US champ. She says Steph has the secret sauce and she offers her the "slaygent" role.
Tiffany Stratton comes in and Green goes away. Steph says she knows they will have each other's backs tonight but says may the best woman win tomorrow.
Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu talk in the back. Fatu says when Cody is finished with Seth, he knows what is poppin' with him. Cody says, "good".
Nick Aldis goes up top Fatu. He says he needs to talk to him about something. Drew McIntyre then attacks Fatu from behind, sending him into a pole and over moving boxes. Fatu is then sent into them. Aldis and officials then stop Drew.

This is SN's return. He's not wearing facepaint anymore.
SN wristlocks him then Sami flips him by the arm. SN rolls out of a wristlock then cartwheels out of it. He snapmares Sami. Sami bends over and is kicked. SN knee drops him. Sami sits on the 2nd rope and SN sliding germans him.
We go to break and return. Sami hits forearms and SN suplexes him. SN hits chest kicks then enzugiri's him. SN flying kicks him. Sami hits forearms and SN axe kicks him. SN hits knees to the gut.
Sami blind springboards over him and hits a big lariat. SN spinning heel kicks him. Sami michinoku drivers him for 2.
Sami exploders him in the corner. Sami misses a helluva kick. SN diving knees him in the back of the neck off the buckles for 2. They trade forearms. SN headbutts him. SN running knees him from behind. Sami exploders him into the rails then running facekicks him against the rails.
They get back in and SN running knees him for 2. SN does a shining axe kick on him. Someone in a hood and face paint then pulls out SN and lariats him over the rail for the DQ.
Thoughts: SN returned here and didn't need to lose so I'm okay with this ending. The match was entertaining as expected and I don't recall SN doing the shining axe kick before. They put out a good effort here and hopefully we will get a rematch.
Tama Tonga returns and The MFT's (minus Solo) all attack Sami. The MFT's now are wearing face paint. SN comes in to try and help and is beaten up. Talla facekicks SN down. JC hits a tour of the islands slam on Sami. Tama hits a hidden blade on SN. Solo Sikoa then comes out sans face paint.
Nick Aldis talks to a ref in the back. Nick then talks to Drew. He says it's Drew and Fatu 1v1 next week. Drew says he's on. Fatu then jumps Drew and they fight.

G = Giulia
KJ offers SV a handshake then knees her in the gut. SV backdrops her then hits the devil's kiss on her. SV and G stare down then we go to break.
We return and G hair throws SV. KJ hits corner spears on SV, does a backflip then does another. G top rope drpkicks SV. SV superkicks her then step up enzugiri's KJ. Tiff gets in and hits lariats on KJ.

SV goes up top and plancha's G outside. KJ gets a 2 count on Tiff. Tiff finlay rolls her and double jump moonsaults her for the win.
Thoughts: I liked it. It was fast paced, action packed and had some nice highlights. It was probably the highest profile match Kiana has had to date and she did fine in it.
Sol Ruca and Zaria talk in the back. Sol asks if she ever owned a koala. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss come in. Flair says their match was impressive last week but a match with them is them stepping into their spotlight. Bliss says this isn't their first radio and they don't think Zar and Sol are ready. Zar says to prove it unless they are scared to risk it. Flair says it's rude but bold. Sol says they respect what they did. Sol says they want a chance to prove themselves. Flair agrees and Bliss says don't expect them to hold back. Sol and Zar then walk into each other. Bliss says they aren't on the same page then her and Flair walk in opposite directions.
WWE Tag Titles - The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis) (c) vs The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins)
All 4 fight to start. Dex is thrown out. Joe headbutts AD. AD flying back elbows him. Joe is hit with a double shoulder block. Ford is flipped onto him then Dex is double flapjacked onto him. Joe takes a back body drop. AD pounces both opponents into the rail outside.
We go to PiP break and return. Ford enzugiri's Dex from the apron. Ford is up top and is hit. AD has both opponents on his shoulders and Ford top rope double blockbusters them. Nikki puts Joe's foot on the ropes then B-Fab throws Nikki over the steps. Fab runs into Rowan then Nikki jumps on Fab. Ford tope con hilos Rowan. Joe handsprings and is caught with a spinebuster from AD. AD tope con hilos Rowan. Ford misses a top rope frogsplash. Ford takes a neckbreaker + sitout powerbomb combo and is pinned.
Thoughts: This really got cut up by the break and what we got was pretty short. I liked what we got, but we just didn't get enough of it. Everyone moved pretty fast here and they crammed a lot into this.
The MFT's show up in the ring and stand off with The Wyatt's. Solo comes in and Nikki stares him down. The MFT's then back off.
The Miz is interviewed. He is asked why he turned on Melo. He says he saw the potential and the talent in him. He says he gave him his time and wanted to mentor him like he never had. He said Melo had the audacity to say he was done with him. Miz says he's a 2x grand slam champ, a future HoF'er and a Mania main eventer. He says he is the spotlight and says Melo blew it. He says the closer you get to get him, the faster you find out who the real star is. He says Melo missed and complains the interviewer didn't wish him a happy birthday.
We get an Aleister Black promo with him talking around candles. He says he will show has misguided and hollow Priest is. He says it's violence against violence. We see clips of their feud.

We go to PiP break and return. DP hits him with a kendo stick. DP rope walks and they hit each other with kendo sticks while they do it. DP is pulled down into AB's knee.
AB chairs him in the gut and the shoulder. DP hits a chokeslam on the apron. DP then sends him onto the commentary table with a razor's edge. DP then does it again. AB gets to his feet and beats the 10 count. AB is thrown over the rail. They get on a stand near the production area.
AB is suplexed on a box. Zelina Vega, who is AB's wife, begs for DP to stop. AB tells her to go. DP goes to hit him and is hit with a fireball. DP is spin kicked off of the box onto the floor. DP is down and can't beat the 10 count. Black wins.
Thoughts: The fireball! The only time I ever recall that happening in WWE is when Bam Bam did it to Bret in a segment that wasn't shown on TV. I was really surprised to see it. This got cut up a bit by the break. It didn't have a ton of pretty spots and was based around the two hitting various strikes and using weapons. I guess Vega will be aligned with Black from now on which is going to take him in a different direction. I don't know if the Priest/Black feud is over though. The match was alright but the breaks really did interrupt my enjoyment of it.
Overall thoughts: Wrestling wise it was a good show. We got 4 matches and all of them were enjoyable. There weren't a ton of people on the PLE on this one. The show had a cool ending with Black using a fireball on Priest. They also did a good job in setting up future stuff here. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 and I thought it was one of SD's better shows lately. I liked it.
