We are in Anaheim, CA.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

The vacant World Title is in the ring. Jey Uso then comes out through the stands. Jey says he's got Roman and Jimmy in his ear along with everyone's mama. He says he doesn't care what they think about him because it's just him. 

CM Punk comes out. He then mocks Jey and asks for his song to be played a second time. He says Jey will get him in his grill on Saturday. He says he's happy Jey is finally listening to himself. He says Jey's body language and actions answer a lot for him. He says he knows Jey has what it takes. He says Jey has got what it takes but asks how far he is willing to go.

Punk says Jey's not the only one who needs to be champ again. Punk says he needs to be champ like he needs air in his lungs. He says he knows how far he is willing to go and asks Jey how far will be willing to go.

Jey says let's go. Jey says he's been in these waters and knows how to swim. Jey says screw you to Punk and says he will show him who the best in the world is. 

The Judgment Day talk in the back. Dom says they have a problem. Dom says Pearce has a vendetta against him and now Rusev/Penta have a #1 contender's match. Raquel says maybe if he wasn't a habitual cheater, he wouldn't have a problem. Dom asks what "we" will do at SNME. JD brings up him and Finn losing the tag titles and says Dom's on his own. Dom then tells someone on the phone he needs their help.

#1 Contender to the Intercontinental Title - Penta vs Rusev

Pen ducks a charge and hits chops. Pen superkicks him then slingblade facebusters him. Pen flying headscissors him. Pen goes for a dive and Rusev hits him. 

Pen enzugiri's him out then tope con hilos him. Pena springboard dropkicks him. Rusev hits shots on him while he's on the apron then punches him down. Rusev corner splashes him. Pen goes up and over and hits a codebreaker off of it for 2. Pen baseball slides him out. Pen is flapjacked into the steps.

We go to break and return. Rusev rips at the mask. Pen's springboard is caught with a bearhug. Rusev facekicks him. Rusev misses a corner charge and Pen handstand pendulum dropkicks him. Penta comes off the top and runs into a machka kick for 2.

Rusev goes for the camel clutch. Penta escapes and hits a made in Japan for 2. They trade shots on their knees. Grande Americano's crew then comes in and causes a double DQ/no contest.

Thoughts: I didn't like Penta doing a made in Japan on Rusev as he's too big for that. Penta did his flying here and Rusev used his power against him. I was alright with this and looking to see how they would end things but sadly we didn't get a true finish.

Both Rusev and Penta get beaten up after. Rusev is sent into the steps. Los Americano's pose. Rusev gets in the ring and beats up Ryo and Bravo. Penta superkicks Grande then Grande's partners pull him out. Penta and Rusev then stare at each other. 

LA Knight is interviewed. He says he didn't come out last week with what he needed. He says he can do what he needs to do as he gets used to doing the hard things sometimes. He says whoever comes out of SNME as champ, he will come back with the title and ask Jackie Redmond if she sees the title around his waist.

The Bron's and Paul Heyman talk in the back. Bron says they should have been in the battle royal last week as it was the quickest way to the title. Paul says he likes the idea but it would have p!ssed off Adam Pearce who could have suspended them and kept Bron away from the title. Paul says let's use Bron's idea on one man. Paul says the winner of the title match at SNME will show up next week looking to be a victim. He says Bron has a clear path after that. Bron asks Paul to get him a match tonight. Paul says he has a match tonight soon against LA Knight.

We get a video on Asuka's decade in WWE. Oddly, there's just music only over clips.

Finn and JD go up to Adam Pearce in the back. Adam asks where Dom is and says he has news. JD wants a title rematch tonight. Finn says he hoped their rematch would be tonight. Adam says they are already busy tonight as they jumped in the battle royal last week and eliminated someone illegally. He says one of them is going 1v1 with Sheamus. JD says he'll face Sheamus and he'll come back here when he rips his head off. Finn says not to forget the title shot when he's done.

Nikki Bella vs Roxanne Perez

RP bows down to her and offers a handshake. Bella slaps the hand and is slapped. Bella slingshot sunset flips her for 2. Bella slaps her. RP looks rocked and the ref protects her for a second. Bella dropkicks her and fireman's carry takeovers her. Bella side headlocks her. RP pulls her down by the hair and pounds on her. 

Bella side headlocks her. Bella blocks a russian legsweep and bangs RP's head off her knee. RP is sent into the rails and apron edge. RP's head is banged off the buckles. Raquel pulls Bella's head down onto the top rope. RP catapults Bella's throat into the 2nd rope.

We go to break and return. RP euros her from behind on the ropes. RP double jump moonsaults her for 2. RP pulls on Bella's chin. RP hits shots on her back. RP does push-up's. Bella hits mounted forearms. Bella hits forearms and swinging facebusters her. 

Bella hits lariats and dropkicks her. Bella hits a corner lariat and 2nd rope twisting enzugiri's her for 2. RP gets on her back with a sleeper. Bella spinebusters her for 2. Raquel gets on the apron and Bella knocks her off. RP goes for a pin with her feet on the ropes and is caught. Bella rolls up RP for 2.

Bella forearms her. Bella misses a corner charge. RP hits a code red and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. RP worked the neck some here en route to victory and Bella didn't botch much. Bella knocked RP loopy for a few seconds with a hard slap.

The heels beat up on Nikki after. Vaquer comes out to save her. Vaquer and Raquel go face to face then Bella joins in. 

We see a Bayley video tweet saying she got her and Lyra a Women's Tag Title match vs Flair and Bliss. 

Lyra runs into The Kabuki Warriors. Asuka says they should be in the title match. Lyra says she had nothing to do with it. Asuka yells at her. Sane tells Lyra not to make Asuka angry. Bayley walks in and Lyra says look at the mess she got them into. Bayley has a matching jacket for her. Lyra says she's not prepared. Bayley says she thinks they can do it and says what if they lose? Lyra says, what if we win? They then do a handshake and get fired up.

Jimmy Uso talks to Jey Uso in the back about what he said earlier. Jimmy says he saved Jey twice last week then Jey threw him out. Jey makes an excuse and Jimmy tells him not to. Jimmy says Jey thought about himself like always. Jimmy says Jey is scared to find out what would have happened if it came down to them in the battle royal.

Bron Breakker vs LA Knight

They look at each other and talk trash. They lock up. Bron backs him up in the corner. LA gets shots in then back elbows him down. LA hits mounted forearms. LA lariats him. Bron runs the ropes and running lariats LA.

Bron hits corner spears. LA crossbodies him off the buckles. They nearly both a sunset flip. Bron lariats him. LA hits punches and lariats him. LA running knees him. LA dropkicks him through the ropes. He and Bronson Reed point at each other.

We go to break and return. Bron flying knees him in the corner. Bron bends over and is kicked. Bron overhead suplexes LA over the top. Bron runs around the ring and flying shoulders him. Bron chinlocks him. LA hits punches. LA flying lariats him. LA jumping neckbreakers Bron. LA slams him. LA jumping elbow drops him. 

Bron blocks a BFT and jumping knees him. Bron walks up the buckles and is tripped, landing backwards hard. LA jumps up top and superplexes Bron. LA hits Reed on the apron. Bron misses a spear and goes into the post shoulder first. LA diving lariats Reed off the apron.

LA bangs Bron's head off the commentary table. LA reverse ddt's Bron out of a gorilla press. Bron kips up. LA misses a double jump elbow drop and Bron spears LA to win.

Thoughts: Loses Always Knight strikes again here. They tried but the match had some sloppy moments. LA almost got dumped on his head twice here. LA hit his usual spots but there was no great logic to this. The finished looked good.

Adam Pearce is looking for Dominik Mysterio and asks around. He finds Dom with Los Americano's. Adam asks what that was. Dom blames them for the attack on Penta and Rusev. Adam asks Dom what's wrong with him. He says Penta and Rusev aren't after them but Dom. He says Dom will defend against them at SNME in an IC Title triple threat.

Jimmy and Jey Uso talk. Jey says he loves Jimmy and he's his brother. He says Jimmy said he'd throw Jey over the top if he had a shot. Jey says it didn't go that way though. Jey says he's got a lot on his plate and doesn't have a lot of real estate for anyone else.

JD McDonaugh vs Sheamus

Finn Balor is at ringside. JG chops and boots Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus then clubs on him. JD boots him out of the corner and Sheamus back body drops him. Sheamus hits punches on him then stomps on him on the bottom rope. Sheamus suplexes him.

Sheamus pulls on JD's mouth. JD clips him from behind and forearms him from behind. JD walks on Sheamus' back. JD turns his back and is lariated over the top, hitting Finn on his way down. Sheamus and Finn stare down outside. JD trips Sheamus and slingshot tornillo's him for 2. Sheamus goes for chest clubs but Finn saves JD. Sheamus then double flying clotheslines them off the apron. 

We go to break and return. JD chinlocks him on his back. Sheamus drops backwards but JD keeps the hold on. They both go over the top. JD kicks him from the apron and asai moonsaults him. JD 450's him off the top rope for 2. JD kicks him around.

JD slaps him and Sheamus asks for more. Sheamus lariats him. Sheamus corner lariats him and swinging backbreakers him. JD headbutts him and rolls him up for 2. Sheamus finlay rolls him. Sheamus chest clubs him on the apron. JD flying knees him and cradles him for 2. 

Sheamus hits a razor's edge on him. Finn grabs the shillelagh outside and Sheamus pumping knees him. JD topes Sheamus but is caught. JD is thrown onto the commentary table then into the rails. Finn then hits JD with the shillelagh. JD hits a top rope spanish fly on Sheamus and pins him.

Thoughts: I liked the match. JD did good as the much smaller heel and they got him a win with some help that saved Sheamus some face here. I thought they did a good job with this and got the logic right here.

Adam Pearce talks to Maxxine Dupri in the back. He says she has 2 wins over the women's champ and wants to make the title match official. Max says she doesn't want the opportunity to go to waste. She says she needs to call a friend and confirm she is prepared for anything Becky throws at her. She says once she is ready, she will take the Women's IC title. Adam says to call him when she's ready.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair are interviewed. They have been tag champs for 85 days. Jackie asks why they would accept an impromptu challenge. Bliss says if anyone wants to fight, they have to ask. Flair says they are 2 wins away from having the most tag title defenses. The Kabuki Warriors come in. Asuka says they should be in the title match tonight. She says Bayley's team and Flair's team don't deserve the titles. Flair says they would be honored to face them. Asuka says they aren't ready for Asuka. Sane then opens her umbrella at them. 

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee talk to Adam Pearce. AJ says 2026 is his last year. He says they are the tag champs and says to bring on some worthy opponents. Finn and JD walk in. JD says their business got handled tonight. Finn says they want a tag title rematch. Adam says he saw them cheat. Lee talks in Spanish and says he's the heat and fire. He says they are unstoppable. Adam sets the match up as AJ and Lee want it. AJ tells them they will see them next week. JD says it'll be the shortest reign of AJ's career.

WWE Women's Tag Titles - Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss (c) vs Bayley and Lyra Valkyria

AB rolls up Bay to start. AB side headlocks her. Flair lariats Bay then bangs her head off the buckles. AB headscissors Bay and dropkicks her. Lyra gets in. Flair wristlocks her. Lyra headflips out and throws Flair over by the arm (on a botch). Flair cartwheels and waistlocks Lyra. 

Lyra goes up and over and cartwheels. Lyra legsweeps her and basement dropkicks her. Flair hits a nasty looking high kick. Flair chops her down. Flair takes strikes from Lyra and a step up enzugiri. Flair goes out and Lyra dropkicks her through the ropes.

We go to break and return. Lyra trips AB and rocking chairs her. Lyra tries a seatbelt pin for 2. AB fights out of the corner. AB takes a samoan drop + flipping neckbreaker combo. Bliss hits a pendulum double ddt. Flair top rope double crossbodies Bay and Lyra. Flair chops them and forward cartwheel lariats Lyra. Flair fallaway slams Lyra then overhead throws Bay.

Flair kips up. Flair top rope moonsaults both opponents at once for 2. Flair facekicks Bay off the apron. Lyra spinning heel kicks Flair. Bay running knees Flair then stunners her over the 2nd rope. Bay 2nd rope elbow drops Flair's neck. Flair knees Bay out of the corner. Bay hits a belly to belly suplex on her for 2.

Flair boots Bay. Bay is pushed in the corner and Lyra tags herself in. Lyra top rope legdrops Flair over the neck. AB hits a sister abigail ddt on Bay for 2. Flair superkicks Bay. Lyra catches AB off the buckles. Lyra cradle shocks her for 2. Lyra's hair maybe gets stuck on AB or she gets hurt and has to tag out. 

Bay thesz presses Flair and they trade shots. Flair facekicks Bay. Flair figure 8's Bay. Lyra stops Bay from tagging out. AB hits twisted bliss on Lyra. Flair and Bliss hit stereo natural selections and win.

Thoughts: Lyra and Flair weren't on the same page here and something happened at the end with Lyra (it seems like her hair got caught in Bliss' outfit). It was an entertaining bout otherwise though and they really got cooking near the end. I liked this.

The Kabuki Warriors attack both teams after. Flair is held for a top rope elbow drop from Sane. Lyra is double clubbed on. The Warriors back off from Bayley.

Overall thoughts: It was a good Raw. It feels like we are getting closer to the hot streak of Raw's we had in 20204 than the colder streak of Raw's we had this year. We had a lot of good in-ring action here and there's a lot of different storylines going on with Bayley and Lyra, The Uso's having issues, The Judgment Day and Dom having issues and The Kabuki Warriors. This was one of those shows where I would have been fine if it had gone on a little longer and that says something when it's running past 10:30PM at night. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall.
