Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-main-event-1092025.html

We are in Raleigh, NC. Blake Howard and Vic Joseph are on commentary.

Axiom vs Johnny Gargano

Ax wristlocks JG. JG reverses it. We get an "NXT" chant. Ax takes JG down then pulls his arms backwards. JG boots him in the gut and snapmares him. Ax diving armdrags him then dropkicks him. JG goes out and and Ax topes him. Ax goes back in and is hit with a slingshot spear.

JG sits on his neck on the ropes. JG hits corner spears. Ax hits chops. Ax's leg is put on the 2nd rope and JG dragon screws him down. JG does a rolling reverse figure four. JG kneebreakers him.

JG splashes the leg and punches down Ax. They each hit forearms Ax sunset flips him for 2. Ax dropkicks him. Ax half-nelson suplexes him then flying PK's him for 2.

Ax misses a move off the top and JG buzzsaw kicks him. Ax cradles him for 2 and flying knees him. Tomasso Ciampa gets on the apron and Nathan Frazer stomps him. Candice LeRae then pulls off Axiom's mask. JG then pins Ax.

Thoughts: That was kind of a nasty ending here with Ax having his mask pulled off and still getting pinned. WWE doesn't have lucha rules so it's legal but they probably should. It got heel heat with me so it worked as an ending. The match was acceptable but didn't have any great logic to it and no one did anything too crazy.

The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs Out The Mud (Lucien Price and Bronco Nima)

Someone joked online a while back that OTM was about to be OTC (Out The Company). They haven't been seen for a long time. Everytime they get going, one of them gets injured and they disappear. It's a shame because they are fine at what they do and have the size but availability is the best ability. I think Price has new snake skin trunks.

Nima and Erik go at it. Erik side headlocks him then Nima shoulders him over. Nima shoves him and takes a bunch of trikes. Ivar knees him in the gut and Erik knees Nima in the face. Nima knees Ivar. Price shoulders over Ivar. Price lariats him. Nima hits knees to Ivar's body. Ivar facekicks him then tags out. Nima does a flying M. Bison stomp on Ivar then Price muso's Erik. We go to break and return.

Nima chest clubs Erik then cranks his head. Nima sends Erik into the middle buckle face first. Erik is then double stomped on in the corner. Erik throws Nima out and Price out after side stepping them. Erik goes for the tag and Ivar is pulled off the apron. Erik spinning forearms Price then knees him in for the face.

Erik takes a double hiptoss bomb for 2. Erik goes up and over Nima then running forearms him. Ivar comes in and flying shoulders Price. He side slams him then low crossbodies him. Ivar rolls over Price's back and facekicks him. Ivar misses a corner charge then butt drops Price in the corner. Ivar spinning heel kicks Nima. Ivar bronco busters Price. Price is popped up into a powerslam and is pinned.

Thoughts:
It was a good match. They hit each other hard and The Raiders really did bump and sell big for OTM. OTM did fine. I liked the match-up between these two. It was also nice to see The Raiders fight someone else besides The LWO or The Creed's for a change. I hope OTM can stay healthy and finally get a nice long run in.

Overall thoughts: We had 2 new matches here along with various recaps. Gargano/Axiom had an acceptable match and Gargano got some heel heat from me for pulling off Ax's match to win, so that worked. We saw the return of Out The Mud against The War Raiders. It was good match with The Raiders really bumping big and OTM being fine. It was your usual Main Event episode with about 15 minutes of new content and 2 fun little matches. It's nothing you need to see but I enjoyed it.
