WWE Evolve 10/22/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-evolve-succession-10152025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-evolve-10292025.html

We are in Orlando, Florida at The Performance Center. Robert Stone and Pete Rosenberg are on commentary.

The Vanity Project comes out. Zayda Steel says Jackson Drake is still Evolve champ. She says we saw addition by subtraction last week. She says they are tighter, stronger and sexier than ever. Keanu Carver comes out but security and Bigg Jah stop him. Jah is the General Manager for tonight. Zayda says the job of running things in Evolve is taken tonight. Jah says he was given power by Stevie and says he has a surprise for Vanity Project tonight. He says they will be in the main vs Keanu Carver. He says Keanu needs 2 partners and he knows 2 perfect guys for it. He then brings out OTM from NXT.

OTM come in the ring. The heels go after them and get chokeslammed together. Drake tries to leave but is about to walk into Keanu. Drake escapes without getting hit.

We get a video on Legacy vs Enofe.

We get a Wendy Choo video. She is with a psychologist. She says she feels like she is confused, invisible and lonely. She says she tried to stand out for so long and lost her identity. She says she feels disassociated and disconnected. She says she coped with it by not talking and said she was hiding behind silence. She says she can't keep carrying the frustrations and disappointment. She is asked what a future looks like where she is more understood but she doesn't know what it looks like.

Chuey Martinez interviews Chantel Monroe. Monroe she's all about getting help but says there is nothing that can help Choo. She says if Choo gets in her face, she will slap her silly and send her to Spirit Halloween. She says to keep her name out of her mouth or the next therapy she gets will be physical therapy.

Sean Legacy vs Edris Enofe

SL hits a bunch of punches to start and puts EE down in the corner. SL atomic drops him. SL hits kicks to the front and back then standing moonsaults him for 2. EE then slides out. EE blocks an SL dive. EE then hits mounted shots. EE running lariats him.

EE pump kicks him while he is seated. EE hits shots and shoves his knee in his face. EE clubs on him then stomps him. SL hits shots to the gut and punches him. EE boots him out of the corner then 2nd rope flying knees him. EE fireman's carry gutbusters him. EE top rope elbow drops him for 2. SL trips him into the ropes then kind of skins the cat into a kick on him.

SL flying lariats him. SL hits kicks and germans him. SL step up enzugiri's him in the corner. SL hits shambles and wins.

Thoughts:
It was a short one. It was okay for what it was. I liked SL's skin the cat kick. EE had one of his better outings. There wasn't a story here. I'm curious if we will see EE again on here as he was cut weeks ago.

Chuey interviews Legacy outside the ring. Sean says Succession as the biggest show in Evolve history and he wasn't on it. He says now that Enofe is in the rear view, he will do what it takes to be on the next Tubi special, even if it means competing for the Evolve Title. Sean brings up Timothy Thatcher. He says it's time for him to come back.

They say a WWE LFG prospect will debut next week.

Bigg Jah and Stevie Turner talk. Masyn Holiday and Layla Diggs come in. Diggs gives Jah a headshot photo. Jah says he's not director Jah but GM Jah. Stevie says Laredo Kid is coming in next week and they want to set up a triple threat with Kid vs Tate Wilder vs Marcus Mathers. Diggs and Masyn come back in and try to push themselves onto Jah to get a job.

Harley Riggins and Jax Presley talk. Har says Adrenaline Drip is running their mouths. Jax says it's 1-1 between them. Jax says it was a wake up call and they won't catch them slipping. They say they will break them in half next time and says there's no caffeine or drinks they can drink to stop unnecessary roughness.

Zayda Steel vs Thea Hail

Like with Enofe, Zay has left WWE and this may be one of her last appearances here.

They shove each other. Thea chest kicks her then standing moonsaults her. Zay offers a fist bump and tries to kick her. Zay throws Thea down backwards. Zay struts and is thrown down backwards. Thea dropkicks her.

Zay codebreakers Thea over the 2nd rope. Zay stomps on Thea in the corner. Zay stands on Thea and pushes her head into the mat. Thea rolls her up for 2. Thea backslides her then Zay back elbows her.

Thea jawbreakers her. Thea knees her then hits double axe handles. Thea exploders her then hits a slam. Thea rolling sentons her and bottom rope coffin drops her. Ricky Smokes tries to interfere and Thea stands on his hand.

Zay rolls up Thea for 2. Thea headbutts her in the chest then submits her with a kimura.

Thoughts:
It was so-so with a lot of strutting and yelling. I liked Zay's move where she stood on Thea's back.

We get an It's GAL video. He talks about his Stud-O-Meter. He gives The Prototype (John Cena) a 9.5 out of 10. He then gives The Ringmaster (Steve Austin) an 8.7 out of 10.

Thoughts: I liked the idea but I don't know why they chose Cena and Austin here.

We get an Aaron Rourke video. He says he grew up in Long Island and says it was tough. We says he was bullied a lot as a kid and said it felt like people told him he had to change. He says he knows who he is and he couldn't change that. He says wrestling was he thing for him and he said he knew he wanted to be that.

Brooks Jensen and Stevie Turner talk in the back. Stevie says Keanu Carver is next in line for a title shot after beating Brooks. Brooks isn't impressed. He then complains about Bryce Donovan getting a title shot. Stevie says he will have to earn another title shot. Stevie says she has more WWE ID business to handle. Bigg Jah says yikes. Stevie says we have 3 new WWE ID prospects who will be here next week.

The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) vs Keanu Carver and OTM (Lucien Price and Bronco Nima)

Drake hits Nima from behind. Drake side headlocks him. Nima throws him then spinning backbreakers him. KC and Smokes get in. Smokes tries to pull KC's cast off and is hit with a big lariat. KC slams Smokes.

Brad and Price go at it. Price shoulders him over. Brad chops Price and Price no sells it. Price then chops him. Price slams Brad. Brad takes a double back elbow. Nima single leg M. Bision stomps Brad. Smokes kicks Nima from the apron and is thrown in.

Nima is clipped and thrown shoulder post into the post. We go to break and return. Smokes facekicks Nima and hits forearms. Smokes boots him in the corner. Smokes clubs on Nima. Nima is choked on the middle rope then Brad knees and ddt's Nima for 2.

Smokes basement dropkicks Nima in the back. Smokes clubs Nima. Nima and Brad trade. Nima is pulled into the 2nd rope then Brad chokes him on the 2nd rope. Drake boots Nima in the head. Smokes guillotines Nima but Nima carries him to the other side of the ring. Drake pulls Keanu off the apron and superkicks him. Nima back body drops Smokes.

Price comes in and hits shots on the heels. Smokes uranages Brad and Smokes then gorilla presses Drake onto them. Brad dropkicks Price. Drake springboard swantons Price for 2. Price hits a double suplex on Brad and Smokes. Drake and Keanu get in. Keanu samoan drops him. Keanu fallaway slams Smokes then pop-up drops Brad. Keanu pounces Drake. Drake bangs Keanu's injured arm over the top rope. Smokes does a wild tope con hilo on Nima outside. Price backdrops Smokes on the apron. Drake dropkicks Price through the ropes. Keanu hits Drake with his cast and pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright enough but nothing too great. OTM are not natural faces. OTM and Keanu seem like a natural team and if Evolve already didn't have a main heel stable, they could fit that role. The Project controlled a lot of this then bumped around a lot as expected here.

Overall thoughts: The show was fine but nothing was great here. It was a little weird to watch this show as so many people on this show are gone from the company already. The main was the match of the night but it probably could have been a little better than it was. We oddly didn't see 4 of the 6 people from Succession on this show. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 total as it was average for the most part.
