We are in Evansville, Indiana. Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore are on commentary.

We see clips from Wrestlepalooza then we see various wrestlers arrive. Vaquer arrives with her dad. LA Knight arrives and we see Rusev yelling at Dominik Mysterio behind him. 

Cody Rhodes comes out. He shows off his Crown Jewel championship ring and says he wants to add 9 more for his other fingers. Seth Rollins comes out to interrupt with The Vision. Seth says we all had some roads to cross and says they will go one on one and says may the best man.

Seth says it should be that simple but it's not. He says he knows what everyone thinks but he doesn't care. He says the people don't have a right to make decisions. He asks what Cody thinks of him. Cody says it's complicated but shouldn't be. He says Seth changed his life and career. 

Cody says it shouldn't be complicated. He asks what Seth thinks of himself. He says Seth is maybe the best on any night. He asks what he can do for Seth. Seth says they need to talk about the watch Cody gave Seth at WM40. He says he hasn't worn it since then until tonight. He asks if it was a real gift or a token gesture. He says he's great at saying things and undermines everything he stands for. 

He says if Cody thinks he's the quarterback of WWE, what does it make Seth? He says Cody either thinks he's not good enough or as good as him. Seth says his crew aren't goods but are what the future of what this industry looks like. He says he's the tip of the spear and not Cody. He says Cody can be the quarterback but will be his quarterback. He says the truth will come out in 3 weeks at Crown Jewel. He says it's not a 2-man show and he's the alpha.

Cody says their 3 matches have been one on one but asks if that will be the case at Crown Jewel. He then asks how many of those has Seth won? Cody then leaves.

The Uso's talk in the back. Jimmy says he knows they can beat The Bron's. He says he asked Adam Pearce for a rematch but Jey made a match vs LA Knight tonight. Jey says he did. He says they would have won at Wrestlepalooza without LA as the ref. He says they have a lot to handle but they will handle it after he handles LA Knight.

No DQ Match - The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller) vs Penta and The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik)

All 6 fight to start. The heels are sent out and avoid dives. 4 of the 6 fight outside. Woods eye pokes Ivar and Ivar butt drops him in the corner. Kofi spin kicks Ivar in the face. Kofi armdrags Erik then is hit with a knee to the face. GW hits Erik with a kendo stick. Penta hits GW with the stick. 

GW pumping knees Penta then slides out and eats a forearm from Erik. Kofi crossbodies Erik from behind. Ivar shoulders over New Day outside. Penta tope con hilos the heels outside.   

We go to break and return. Penta is triple stomped on. GW is back body dropped outside. Penta flying headscissors Kofi. Penta is swept on the apron and is hit while on the table. Kofi tries a top rope ove but ends up going through the table alone on a missed camera shot.

GW takes knees from The Raiders. Erik headbutts GW down. Erik double powerbombs New Day down. GW lariats Erik over the top and goes with him. Ivar misses a top ropw moonsault on The New Day. Ivar is hit with a kendo stick by Woods. Erik uranages Woods on the apron. Penta hits a very nasty looking canadian destroyer on GW off the top to win.

Kofi jumps off the stairs on Erik's leg. Kofi is belly to belly overhead suplexed into a table in the corner by Penta. GW hits Penta with a kendo stick up top. 

Thoughts: I didn't like the finish. That move is too dangerous and could have killed GW. The match was fine otherwise but I cant put this one over after that. I hope GW is okay.

Dom talks to Finn in the back. He says Rusev is coming after his title. Dom is looking for help and Finn asks him to ask El Grande Americano for help. JD says he's busy and says Dom said he didn't need help last week. Roxanne tells JD to help Dom and he agrees. Dom then tells JD it's him vs Rusev tonight. The girls then leave in a hurry. 

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria talk. Lyra apologizes for her going in her room last week. Bay no sells it and says last week was awesome. She says it was good to see her. She asks if Lyra will be in her corner tonight. Lyra says she called her an idiot and Bay thinks she's joking. Lyra agrees to come out with her tonight and Lyra is confused after.

Adam Pearce is in the ring and brings out Stephanie Vaquer. Adam congratulates her. SV says the title is the dream of her life. She said she thought it was impossible but worked and sacrificed for it and made it. She said she beat one of the best on the planet in Iyo. She said she learned to be strong and never give up as she had her hero - her dad. We then see her dad in the crowd.

She says the title represents the motivation the fans gave her. She thanks the fans. She says her fire will keep making history and says nobody can stop her. Adam says Tiff defends her title in a triple threat on SD and says the winner faces SV for the Crown Jewel Title at Crown Jewel. SV says she will be there. SV then gets fireworks.

We get a video on Brock vs Cena from Wrestlepalooza.

Nikki Bella and Rhea Ripley congratulate SV in the back. Rhea says she's coming for the title and SV says she's ready. Asuka and Kairi Sane come up to her. Asuka says Iyo should be a champ and SV doesn't deserve it. SV says she will show her why she's champ anytime she wants to fight. Rhea says she's sick of Asuka's attitude. Asuka says she's sick of her. She says she better stay away from Iyo or she will show her why she's not ready for Asuka. Rhea says they should settle it in the ring tonight. Sane apologizes and Asuka calls her.

Bayley vs Roxanne Perez

They lock up and Bay armdrags her. Bay side headlock takeovers her. RP shoves her then Bay forearms her down. RP trips over Bay on accident on a drop down. Bay sliding back elbows her and sliding lariats her. Bay is rammed back first into the rails. Bay backdrops her.

Bay is tripped on the 2nd rope. RP stands on Bay's knee and stomps it. We go to break and return. Bay gordbusters her. Bay 2nd rope elbow drops RP's neck for 2. RP hurricanrana's her off the top. RP cartwheel double knee drops Bay's neck for 2. RP rolls her up for 2. Bay chest forearms her. 

RP russian legsweeps her off the 2nd rope. RP goes for a tope and is hit with a forearm. RP spin kicks her in the gut and hits pop rocks on the floor. Raquel facekicks Bay outside then Lyra hits shots on Raquel to stop her. Raquel is sent into the post. RP topes Lyra outside and pounds on her.

Bay hair throws RP inside. Bay tries to calm herself down then Bay hits a belly to belly on RP. She running knees RP and hits a roseplant to win.

Thoughts: RP worked the knee for a bit and gave up on it. Bay flipped out during the match in the finishing stretches to get the win. I'm not sure where they are going with Bay and Lyra, but it's going somewhere.

Lyra hugs Bay after. Bay pushes her down and yells at her. Bay then yells at her to stay out of it. 

Cody and Jimmy Uso talk in the back. Cody asks how his brother is. Jimmy says Jey is in his head and not listening. He says maybe he will listen to Cody.

We go to break and return. Cody talks to Jey Uso. He asks if he's okay. Jey says Jimmy is always trippin'. Cody says he's been there and says people isolate themselves through highs and lows. Cody says "we" believe in Jey.

Rusev vs JD McDonaugh

Dominik Mysterio is at ringside. Rusev kicks and clubs JD. He hits punches in the corner. JD chops back and is knee'd in the gut. JD gets suplexed. Rusev suplexes JD. Rusev chokes him on the ropes and kicks him in the back. JD chops him and Rusev gets mad. 

JD takes a back body drop. JD is sent out then dropped on the rails. The steps are kicked into Rusev. Rusev is pushed into the post. JD asai moonsaults him outside. 

We go to break and return. JD jawbreakers Rusev. JD slingshot tornillo's him. JD flying knees him. JD then hits a spinning ddt. JD lariats him then hits a top rope moonsault for 2.

JD hits forearms and lariats. Rusev pop-up swinging side slams him. Rusev hits a macha kick and camel clutches him. Dom gets on the apron but doesn't interfere. Rusev taps out JD.

Thoughts: It was a decent match done with the wrong people here. Rusev looked about the same height as JD and JD got too much offense in on him. JD was moving well though and they really tried to put him over here for some reason. Rusev should have thrown him around and destroyed him. 

Finn reverse ddt's Rusev after then lariats him over the top. Finn and Dom argue after and JD tells them to stop fighting.

Iyo, Asuka and Sane talk in the back. Iyo says Asuka doesn't need to do this. Asuka says she needs to teach Rhea respect and doesn't want advice from someone who lost. Iyo tells Sane to talk to Asuka. Sane says Asuka is why they are here and says they must listen.

LA Knight is interviewed. LA asks whether Jey should worry about him or his health. He says he was worrying about whether Jey was okay or not at Wrestlepalooza. He says he doesn't want to hurt Jey but will hurt him if he has to. He says Jey brained himself this weekend and he will do it for him today if he has to.

Jey Uso vs LA Knight

Jey comes through the crowd as usual. LA poses then immediately gets it. LA is hit in the corner then he fights back. Jey flying back elbows him. Jey stomps him. Jey misses a corner charge and takes a neckbreaker. 

Jey is pulled over the top. LA goes out and runs into a shot from Jey. We go to break and return. LA jumps up to the top and superplexes Jey. They trade shots. LA hits a burning hammer for 2. Jey rolls him up for 2 and misses a splash. Jey blocks a neckbreaker. Jey topes him outside. Jey superkicks him for 2. LA ddt's him. LA double jump elbow drops him. The Vision come down to interfere. LA fights them off. Jey spears him. Jey hits a top rope splash and pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it. Jey and La worked pretty well together and had a fast paced match with them doing a lot of their signature moves. Loses Always Knight loses again.

Jimmy talks to Jey on the stage and says, "help me" as The Vision are about to beat up LA more. Jimmy comes out with a chair. The Vision then back off.

Seth and Becky talk in the back. Becky complains about The Uso's and Cody. She talks about various sites calling her the best female wrestler of all time. She calls the fans thieves. Seth stares at the watch Cody gave him. Becky says she will make an example out of people tonight.

Iyo and Rhea talk. Rhea asks if they are allowed to be around each other. Iyo asks her to call off the match. Rhea says she's sick of Asuka being disrespectful. Rhea says maybe her and Asuka can beat the respect out of each other. Rhea tells her to be careful about Asuka. Iyo says Asuka is family. Iyo says she wouldn't be here without Asuka. She says she trusts Asuka and asks if she can trust Rhea.

We get a video on "Los Americanos". The video says no family paved the way for lucha like Los Americanos. He says the three of them are poised for a reign of supremacy like no one has witnessed. He said many thought they were gone forever but they have been restored and rejuvenated. He says nature is healing as the dynasty grows in power and takes it place on the throne of WWE. 

Maxxine Dupri talks to Adam in the back. She says she's confident and Adam tells her the women's division is competitive. Adam says give him time and he will find the right opportunity for her.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee come in. AJ says The Americano's are p!ssing him off and he will go to great lengths to destroy them. Lee says this is a disgrace. Lee says they want The Americano's in the ring. Adam says he will talk to them and make it official. AJ says maybe they shouldn't sign any more Americano's.

Asuka vs Rhea Ripley

Asuka misses a high kick then hits leg kicks. Asuka rolls her up for 2. Rhea release germans her. Asuka hip attacks her off the apron. We go to break and return. Asuka dragon screws her through the ropes. Rhea slaps her then hits short arm clotheslines. Rhea drops her chest first then low dropkicks her.

Rhea northern lights suplexes her for 2. Asuka sliding kicks her. Asuka forearms her and hits kicks to the leg. Rhea running boots her. Asuka goes out and Rhea cannonballs her off the apron. 

We go to break and return. Rhea clubs Asuka and bangs her head off the buckles. Rhea superplexes her. They trade forearms. Asuka backslides her for 2. Rhea spinning back elbows her then sperkicks her. Rhea hits a razor's edge and a sliding knee for 2. Asuka rolling armbars her. Rhea misses a corner spear and takes a head kick for 2. Asuka hits Kawada kicks and various strikes. Asuka head kicks her.

Rhea's head is banged off the commentary table. Sane is acting scared and concerned. Rhea forearms Asuka. Asuka ankle locks her. Asuka then germans her out of it. Asuka comes off the 2nd rope and is dropkicked. Sane gets on the apron and tries to hit Rhea. Rhea blocks it. Asuka hip attacks Sane off the apron and Rhea rolls up Asuka to win.

Thoughts: It was okay. They did a lot of strikes here and kept this one moving. Sane got a bit heelish here as she tried to attack Rhea and was stopped. You could tell by the crowd reactions that the girls in the crowd were more into this than the men.

Asuka blue mists Rhea after. Asuka tells Sane to attack her after and Sane does. Asuka joins in. Iyo Sky comes out. Iyo tries to get them to stop. Iyo and Asuka hug. Asuka then uraken's her. Asuka tells Sane to beat up Iyo. Sane then does. Asuka then high kicks Iyo down.

Asuka spinning heel kicks Rhea. Iyo is held for a top rope elbow drop from Sane. 

Thoughts: The Asuka stuff was really interesting. I'm not sure if I would have officially turned Asuka and Sane heel here on Iyo and Rhea as I thought there was more money in continuing the Asuka/Sane/Iyo thing. Iyo vs Asuka should be good though at least.

Overall thoughts: I found it to be a longer show though I did like it. We had 5 matches here which is a lot more than what we have gotten lately. I didn't like the opener as Waller took a very dangerous looking bump that had me concerned for his wellbeing. Canadian destroyers and various piledrivers are dangerous enough on their own, yet alone doing them from the buckles. Bayley/Perez was just average. JD McDonaugh had a good night out there with Rusev, but he worked the wrong kind of match and it did nothing for Rusev. Jey/LA wasn't bad and LA lost yet again. I liked the main and they finally turned Asuka and Sane heel. The Asuka stuff has been the most interesting stuff on the show lately and I don't know if going full on heel with it right now was the best call. I'd give this a 6 out of 10. Things are picking up a bit storyline wise with Asuka/Iyo, Cody/Seth, The Judgment Day having issues, Bayley being nuts and Jey/LA and I want to see where things go.
