WWE Evolve 9/24/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/09/wwe-evolve-9172025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/wwe-evolve-1012025.html

Stevie Turner does some announcements. She says Chase U are in the house tonight to face Swipe Right.

She says Evolve will host it's first ever special - Evolve Succession on 10/15/25 with the men's and women's titles being defended on the same night.

Thoughts: The main thing I want to know about this is whether it's a 1 or 2 hour special. I think it has to be 2 hours if it's going to be a special and I'd like to see what a 2 hour Evolve show looks like.

Kendal Grey comes out to talk. She says Wendy Choo has been terrorizing Evolve and she made her say she quit. She said it's proving her hard work is pulling off. She says there's not a woman here who is on her level and that includes Kali Armstrong. She challengers her to a match at Succession.

Kali Armstrong comes out. She says she knew Grey would come after he title after she made Choo submit. She says Grey is scrappy and she likes it. She says Choo is not Kali Armstrong. Grey says everyone looks the same when they are in armbar.

Chantel Monroe comes out. She says absolutely not. She says it won't be them if there is a special. She says Kali's title is in the hands of the wrong woman. Grey says Monroe had a title shot and dropped the ball. She tells her to look in the mirror and try to remember it. Monroe blames Kylie Rae and says she took care of her.

Stevie Turner comes out. Kali tells her not to make this a triple threat as she wants a 1v1. She says she doesn't have time for the excuses and wants to know she won due to being better. Stevie agrees and sets up Grey vs Monroe in a #1 Contender's Match for Evolve Succession.

We get another Karl and Sean Legacy video. Sean is looking for his wrestling gear. Karl says if he sees it, he will let him know. We then see Karl walking outside with the gear on. We then see a "This is Evolve" logo.

The Vanity Project talk about Chase U in the back. Stevie Turner comes in. Drake wants to know who he defends the title against at Succession. Smokes hits on Stevie. Stevie says Drake's triple threat match was incredible. She says Keanu Carver will face Brooks Jensen for the title shot at Succession. Drake complains and she says it's final.

Chase U (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors) vs Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)

RS backs up Kle in the corner then slaps him. Kale chops and slaps Rs in the corner. RS is tripped and put in a side headlock. Kale is booted by Brad then UC saves him on a double suplex. Chase U hits a double dropkick on the heels.

Brad is superkicked in the knee then takes a guillotine legdrop on the neck from UC. Smokes saves Brad from a double suplex and they miss dropkicks. Swipe Right is then hit with sentons. Kale runs into Brad's foot outside.

We go to break and return. Brad knocks UC off the apron and RS slingshot spears Kale. Kale misses an enzugiri then RS suplexes him for 2. RS stomps on Kale in the corner. Brad gordbusters and running knees Kale for 2. Kale hits an enzugiri on Brad.

UC gets in. He hits shots on Smokes and dropkicks him. Brad takes an os cutter into a spinning backdrop. UC tope con hilos the heels outside.

UC top rope swantons RS for 2. UC is pulled out of the ring. Kale takes a dropkick + spinebuster combo for 2. We get some quick action and Brad takes a powerbomb + neckbreaker combo for 2. Kale is lariated over the top. Chase checks on Kale, Vanity Project walk up to them and UC crossbodies them off the apron. Brad and UC trade pin attempts.

UC superkicks him. RS trips UC and Brad hits a pumping knee on UC. UC takes a super swipe from Swipe Right and is pinned.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see Chase U lose here as Swipe Right are way below them in kayfabe. It's a good win for Swipe Right though. It was a fast paced match. It was fine but nothing too special or memorable.

Drake and Vanity Project talk on the mic after. Drake it's another win for the best crew in the business. Drake tells Bryce this is how you handle business, unlike how he fumbled the bag in the 8-man tag. Drake says Swipe Right just brought them back up. Drake says he's not feeling facing Keanu or Brooks at Succession. He says heh as a problem and if he has a problem, Vanity Project does. He says he's calling in Bryce as the fixer. He says everything will be okay as Bryce Donovan is taking care of it. Bryce doesn't look thrilled.

Jax Presley and Harley Riggins talk in the back. Harley talks about how fired up he is. Jax says no one wants to step in the ring with them and they might as well hand the tag titles over to them when they make them. Jax is texted by Stevie Turner and told Adrenaline Drip wants them next week. Jax says they don't have an answer for getting slapped in the mouth. Jax says if they want to get their @sses kicked again, they will.

Chuey Martinez is in the back. He asks Diggs and Holiday who wins tonight. Holiday picks Monroe. Diggs picks Grey. Nikki Lyons says it doesn't matter who wins as she should have fought Kali a long time ago. Chuey then asks Choo who wins. Choo says it'll be harder than she thought and actually talks. Monroe and Lyons both called her a freak during this.

Stevie Turner talks to It's GAL. Jamar Hampton cracked his hip bone and will be out for a while. Gal says that's what he gets for going in the gym as hard as him. Ridge Holland comes in. He asks why he isn't in the #1 Contender's match. He says he should be named #1 Contender. Tate Wilder comes in and says you don't speak to Stevie that way. Ridge asks if Tate came to quit to Stevie. Stevie says Tate can have his rematch with Ridge. He says he doesn't want it. He says he's not ready for Ridge yet but will be soon. Ridge mocks him. Stevie asks why Gal is still here and asks him to get out.

We get a video on Keanu Carver. He says Jackson Drake's worst nightmare is here. He says he has one roadblock in his way before he crushes him at Succession. He says he doesn't know Brooks Jensen and says he will smash him. He says he doesn't know where he's from or what he had to do to get here. He says he had to fight his way. He says he's not playing with anyone on the roster. He tells him to watch his back as the Evolve Title is his.

#1 Contender's Match - Chantel Monroe vs Kendal Grey

CM takes her down for a pin attempt. KG does the same. KG backslides her and is hit with a forearm. CM hits boots in the corner and chops her. KG chops her in the corner. KG 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her then shoulder throws her.

CM yanks on KG's arm then armlocks her. KG headflips out of a wristlock and armlocks her. KG armdrags her. KG goes over her in the corner, sweeps her and basement dropkicks her. CM knee lifts her over the middle rope. CM neckbreakers her over the 2nd rope.

We go to break and return. KG hits shots to the gut and boots her. CM hits a knee to the jaw for 2. CM hits elbows to KG's chest then knee drops her. CM chokes her on the 2nd rope then hits a natural selection variation for 2. KG rolls up CM for 2 then CM twisting neckbreakers her for 2.

CM headscissors her. CM spears the post when KG moves. KG hits punches then back elbows her. KG belly to belly suplexes her. CM slingshots over and takes a gutwrench powerslam for 2. KG comes off the 2nd rope and is superkicked. CM hits a high angle TKO for 2.

They fight on the buckles and KG hits a top rope spanish fly for 2.  CM hits knee lifts and KG rolling armbars her. CM taps out.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here. KG was very clearly going to win this and she did good as the face who took most of the offense. CM did fine as well here. I had no issues with this.

Carlee Bright celebrates with Grey after. Kali Armstrong comes out and claps.

Overall thoughts: There wasn't much to this show here. We only had 2 matches and most of the focus was on Succession, which is in 3 weeks. The show was fine and went by pretty fast. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it wasn't must see but it did what it was supposed to. I wouldn't really recommend it though. Grey/Monroe was clearly the match of the night.
