5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - AZM vs. Rian

Ri boots her then is armdragged. Ri armdrags back and they trade sweeps before doing a headflip up together. AZM running dropkicks her. AZM does a corner dropkick for 2. AZM basement dropkicks her and foot chokes her.

AZM snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Ri hits chest forearms then crossbodies her. Ri headscissors her out of the corner and dropkicks her for 2. AZM slams her and they trade forearms. Ri grounded sleepers her. AZM chest kicks her and double stomps her. AZM armbars her and Ri ropebreaks. 

AZM top rope dropkicks her. Ri fisherman suplexes her for 2. They go up on the buckles and fight. Ri 2nd rope cutters her for 2. Ri misses a top rope crossbody. AZM rolls her into a suplex then hits another. Ri cradles her as she tries it again. AZM goes for a pin but Ri reverses it for 2. Ri gets antoehr 2 count on her. AZM high kick her then headkicks her for 2. AZM wins with a top rope double stomp.

Thoughts: It was a long one. Ri got a decent bit in and it was more competitive than expected. I don't think it needed to go as long as it did though since Ri clearly wasn't going to win.

Ri forearms her after and is hit on the head.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Yuna Mizumori vs. Waka Tsukiyama

Waka misses a running dropkick and is armdragged. They trade pin attempts. Waka basement dropkicks her. Waka misses a hip attack and Yuna dropkicks her out of the ring. Waka hits a straight shot and drops 

Yuna's head on the apron. Waka is sent into the post. Yuna tries a running lariat against the post but just gets the post. Waka bites the arm. Waka gets on her back and pulls her arms back outside.

Waka running hip attacks her on the ropes. Waka hits chest forearms then Yuna springboard dropkicks her. Yuna corner lariats her then 2nd rope diving shoulders her for 2. Yuna low crossbodies her then Waka crossbodies her for 2.

They forearm each other on the 2nd rope. Waka top rope dropkicks her for 2. Yuna sliding lariats her from behind then does a rocking chair variation. Waka ropebreaks. Yuna goes for a pin and is reversed. Yuna rolls her up then Waka straightjacket bombs her from behind for 2.

Yuna hits a lariat on Waka then she cradle shocks her. Waka then gets a 2 count on her. Waka slaps her around then Yuna slaps back. Yuna running lariats her for 2. Yuna AA's her and wins.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to and they didn't really have the logic down in this one. Waka's not real serious and Yuna isn't always either. Instead of having some fun with that, they had a longer and more competitive match.

Yuna offers a handshake after and Waka bites her hand.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Mei Seira vs. Azusa Inaba

AI slides out early. Mei chases her then ends up out a lone. Mei dropkicks AI as AI goes to attack her on the apron. Mei basement dropkicks her in the ring. Mei bangs her head off the buckles and hits corner dropkicks.

They trade chest forearms. Mei stomps her foot then slams her. Mei does a chinlock and AI ropebreaks. AI flips out of a snapmare and spin kicks her in the head. AI hair throws her then pumpkicks her on the ropes. AI hits another pump kick for 2. 

AI rolls her into a leglock. Mei ropebreaks. Mei lariats her on the ropes and is kicked as she goes to springboard. Mei is sent into the seats outside and is choked. They get back in and AI ankle locks her. 
AI double underhook suplexes her. They trade chest forearms. Mei lariats her on the ropes then is pump kicked on the ropes. Mei germans her then AI germans her back. AI bodyscissors takedowns her. Mei sweeps her and they each trade pin attempts. Mei dropkicks her.

Mei sitout powerbombs her for 2. AI trips her then rolls back, pulls the leg and somehow pins her.

Thoughts: It was alright with AI trying to work more in line with Mei's style. It was a fast paced affair as usual with Mei. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Ruaka vs. Aya Sakura

Aya hits chest forearms on the ropes. Aya running dropkicks her then is shouldered over. Ru shoulders her over again and tries to pin her with a foot on the chest. Ru then steps on her face. Ru hair throws her then foot chokes her on the ropes. 

Ru slams her for 2. Aya misses a dropkick off the ropes. Aya hits chest kicks then Ru eye rakes her. Ru misses a corner splash and takes kicks for 2. Ru hits a straight punch then Aya high kicks her down for 2. Aya sits up top and is suplexed down.

Aya cradles her for 2. Aya hits kicks and buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Aya hits leg kicks then Ru lariats her down. Ru sliding lariats her. Ru double arm chokeslams her for 2. Ru germans her and wins.

Thoughts: Ru just did basic heeling and didn't bring a lot to this one while Aya did kicks. It wasn't that good or interesting.  

Ruaka then talks on the mic after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Hanan vs. Lady C

C running facekicks her. They trade forearms and roll on the ropes. C side headlock takeovers her and hits mounted ofrearms. Han rolls her up for 2 and dropkicks her. Han leg lariats her on the ropes for 2. Han does a grounded sleeper and C rope breaks.

Han hits forearms. C running kicks her then giant swings her. C misses a running facekick and Han forearms her. Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. C cobra twists her then drops her backwards for 2. Han hits a nice cuty special for 2. C drops her face first.

C hits another face kick then chokeslams her for 2. Han rolls her up but C reverses it and gets a 2 count. Han backdrops her. C no sells it then facekicks her over for 2. Han spinning ddt's her then does a nice backdrop to win.

Thoughts: I didn't like this that much. C hit a bunch of face kicks that didn't really connect and it was a bit rushed as they didn't have tons of time. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Tomoka Inaba vs. Sayaka Kurara

Saya wristlocks her then TI reverses it. TI side headlocks her. Saya slips out and reverses it. Saya takes her over then dropkicks her. TI trips her and bangs Saya's knee off the mat. TI elbow drops and stomps the leg. 

TI bangs Saya's knee off the mat then does a dragon screw. Saya dropkicks her then corner dropkicks her for 2. Saya goes for the sleeper and TI ropebreaks. TI trips her into the ropes and pump kicks her. TI kicks her in the back then ankle locks her again. TI punches her in the gut.

They trade forearms to the chest. TI hits a forearm flurry. Saya flying forearms her the spinning neckbreakers her. TI blocks a spear then leglocks her. TI sitout gordbusters her on her knee then chest kicks her down for 2.  TI kicks her in the leg. Saya takes her down with a sleeper. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks her then top rope dropkicks her for 2. The collide and both go down. Saya spears her for 2. TI goes for another ankle lock. Saya is stuck in the middle of the ring and taps out.

Thoughts: It was fine with TI working the leg and eventually winning with an ankle lock/leg lock.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Natsupoi vs. Rina

They go for moves early and can't get them. Poi cartwheels into an armdrag on her. Ri sweeps her then pulls her down by the hair. Ri hair throws her. Ri foot chokes her. Ri goes up top and is hit then Poi throws her down to the apron. Poi top rope crossbodies her outside. Poi's head is banged off the apron and Ri's head is banged off seats.

They trade forearms outside and get back in together. They go for slaps while on their knees. Ri stomps on her and Poi fires up. Poi hits chest forearms and Ri hip throws her. Ri northern lights suplexes her for 2.

Ri does an octopus stretch and Poi turns it into a pin attempt. Poi armbars her and Ri ropebreaks. Poi knees her in the shoulder. Poi spin kicks her in the gut and hits a headhunter. Poi dropkicks her through the ropes.

Poi spinning neckbreakers her for 2. Poi goes for a cartwheel splash off the top but Ri gets her knees up. Ri double knee drops her off the buckles for 2. Ri reverse suplexes her then double knee drops her off the buckles for 2. Poi superkicks her. Ri running face kicks her for 2 and Poi germans her. Ri then gets a 2 count on her. 

Ri does a headscissors with an armlock. Poi ropebreaks. Poi la magistral's her but Ri rolls her into her own pin attempt. Ri goes for a pin and Poi reverses it for 2. Poi superkicks her. Poi hits a ranhei for 2. Poi hits a corkscrew splash off the top for 2. Poi hits another ranhei and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent match. It was competitive with both going for pins and keeping up a fast pace in the process before Poi eventually pulled out. It was a good showing for Rina. 

Poi talks to Rina on the mic after and Rina spits in her face.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Starlight Kid vs. Natsuko Tora 

They lock up. Kid waistlocks her then flying headscissors her. Kid then dropkicks her. Ruaka pulls Kid outside and attacks her in clear view of the ref, who doesn't care. Tora sends Kid into the seats and chokes her with an umbrella. 

Tora release suplexes her then chops her down. Kid springboard twisting crossbodies her. Tora eye rakes her. Kid dropkicks her in the knee then bangs Tora's knee off the mat. Kid standing moonsaults the knee. 

Tora corner splashes her then crossbodies her. Tora then sentons her. Tora slams her. Tora goes up on the buckles and is dragon screwed down. Kid then plancha's Tora outside.  Kid reverse dragon screws Tora over the 2nd rope and stretch mufflers her. Tora back body drops Kid off the 2nd rope. Tora then 2nd rope splashes her for 2. Tora corner cannonballs her. Tora misses a top rope swanton. Tora then sitout powerbobms Kid. Kid no sells it and reverse dragon screws her. Kid stretch mufflers her.

Kid cross-legged fisherman suplexes her. Kid then hits a 180 splash off the top for 2. Kid top rope moonsaults her for 2. Tora lariats her then hits a death valley driver for 2. Kid flying headsissors her into a roll up. Kid then does a stretch muffler. Tora then taps out.

Thoughts: Kid did her usual match where she worked the knee. Unfortunately, this kind of put Tora in the face position as she had to do all the selling here and made you want to see her make a comeback. That hurt this because of it. I think Tora needed to get a bit more heel heat here to really put this over. 

Kid then talks on the mic after. 

Overall thoughts: I didn't like this show that much. Rina/Poi was by far the best thing on here and Inaba/Kurara was okay. Starlight Kid did her usual match in the main but Tora didn't get enough heel heat on her and it almost made you feel sympathetic for Tora. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and thought it was an average night for Stardom.
