Thoughts: The crowd didn't like Jar and Lluvia at all. It was a tornado tag like all of these CMLL lucha tags are where there's no real tags and there are 4 people in the ring at once. It wasn't perfect but they did try hard and busted out some bigger things than usual likes the dives off the steps. It was alright but not great.

Jr has the chest tattoos and Hijo doesn't.

Thoughts: It was basically a tornado tag match. Everyone tried and did stuff they don't normally do. It was a bit hard to follow as each team looks similar and they kept it moving at a fast pace. I wasn't a big fan of it as it was mostly just spots

They have the Mexican military play trumpets and they have non-wrestlers dance to some Mexican music in the ring.

Mascara Dorada, Atlantis Jr and Neon vs Volador Jr., Hechicero and Zandokan Jr.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced match. The faces did a bunch of flying here and Neon busted out his more fancy moves. The heels didn't really impress all that much here but it was alright.

They presentation ceremony for one of the Lutteroth's with various wrestlers and then show off the 92 Anniversary logo.

Fel is laid out on the ramp. Rey top rope splashes him on the ramp.  Rey then gets a 2 count inside on a pin attempt. Fel hits splash mountain on Rey. Fel argues with the ref, low blows Rey then lariats him. Fel tries a submission and is rolled up by Rey. Fel and Rey then kick each other in the crotch at the same time. The ref sees them doing it and it's a double DQ. Both wrestlers will lose their hair.

Thoughts: It didn't look good on paper and it wasn't any better in reality. It was clunky and neither looked that good. It didn't get a ton of time either, though that's not a bad thing. The ending was stupid and a waste of a haircut for both guys.

Both guys get their head shaved after.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. Mist got his masked ripped up and bled a ton to start. The ring ended up having blood all over it which really added to the spectacle. They had the right idea here and it was a good match.  MJF did various heel tactics all throughout and Mist kept making comebacks until he eventually won.

Mist superkicks MJF's buddy and throws him out after.

Thoughts
: The format for this whole thing was weird. The logic is that it's an honor to fight for your hair/mask on the big stage like this but it just seems like an unnecessary risk to me when you could just get eliminated early and keep it.

Val's old and Esf's a lot younger so Esf was my pick to win here. Val also has sons and daughters in CMLL so him losing the mask isn't as big of a deal. Val worked Esf's arm a bit to start this but then gave up on it. The match wasn't anything that great as there wasn't a great story and no real clear faces or heels. They didn't do anything too crazy or bleed or even really rip each others masks up which helps make matches feel bigger.

Esf gets confetti and streamers after.

Val unmasks after and gives Esfinge his mask. Val looks really good for his age. Esf poses with Val's mask. Val gets on the mic and thanks the crowd. Val then punches out Esfinge and stomps him.

Overall thoughts: CMLL really stacked the card here and pulled out all the stops with 3 aspuesta's matches, title matches and a cup final. It was a good card overall. Mistico/MJF was the highlight here as Mistico bled buckets and they had a solid heel vs face match with Mist doing the flying and MJF using various shortcuts against him. The first two matches didn't hit for me. I liked the Neon trios match enough. The Copa Independencia match was fine. Rey/Felino wasn't good and had a stupid ending with both guys getting DQ'd and both guys losing their hair. MJF/Mistico delivered. The main wasn't great but it was acceptable and Valiente ended up losing his mask to finish the show. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 mostly for the presentation and for Mistico/MJF. Everyone tried hard and CMLL did what they could to make this feel like a big deal. I would recommend going out of your way to see Mistico/MJF just for the blood alone.
