We are in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena. Nigel McGuinness, Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard are on commentary.

Jon Moxley vs Daniel Garcia

The do a double knuckle lock. Mox is sent into the corner and he ducks DG there. DG ties his legs up and does a regal stretch. Mox snapmares him and kicks him in the back. DG hits forearms. Mox corner lariats him. Mox splits DG's fingers, chops him and hits mounted corner punches. Mox then sticks his finger in DG's eye. 

They trade chops. Mox hits shots in the corner and foot chokes DG. DG dragon screws Mox twice. DG kicks him in the leg. DG bangs Mox's leg off the post then figure fours him around the post. Shafir helps pull DG up outside and Mox dropkicks DG off the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. Mox has an armbar on and DG ropebreaks. DG hits elbows on Mox's neck on the apron then piledrivers him there. DG backdrops him. DG stomps on him in the corner then foot chokes him. DG facewash kicks him in the corner. 

Mox trips him and is cradled for 2. DG twists and shouts Mox. DG superplexes him. DG bulldog chokes him. Mox hits a double underhook ddt out of nowhere for 2. Mox running knee presses DG for 2. DG does his sharpshooter variation.

Mox challenges him to come on and DG hits forearms. DG starts stomping on him and foot chokes him. Mox suplexes him over the top rope and goes with him. They fight inside and DG cradles him for 2. Mox then holds the tights and pins him.

Thoughts: They did a little too much here with piledrivers on the apron and suplexes to the outside but it was good match. DG showed good spirit and was a likeable underdog here. They stiffed each other and it continues this story of DG being unable to win the big one.

Menard tries to go up to DG after and is pushed. 

Tony Schiavone interviews DG after. Tony says it's an incredible performance. DG says it's been one incredible performance after another for 5 years with nothing to show for it. He says when he falls he gets back up. DG says it was a good 5 years but sometimes good isn't good enough. 

Big Bill and Bryan Keith do a promo. Bill says his life hit rock bottom here. He says the people laughed at him and showed their true colors. He says this is the place where players spit on opponent (an Eagles player spit on a Cowboys player this week) and where fans steal balls from kids (I think this is referencing some big shot CEO stealing a ball from a kid at a baseball game). He says their hero is a fictional character (Rocky). Bill says he's in the best shape of his life and he's racking up wins.

He says he comes from a place from where real tough guys are made - NYC. He says there's another guy here from NYC who claims to be a tough guy, but he hasn't heard from him in a long time. He says he's officially calling Eddie Kingston out. 

Thoughts: Tony said this was out of left field and I agree. Why is he calling out a guy from NYC in Philly anyway?

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs Adam Priest and Tommy Billington

We haven't seen Tom for a very long time. 

Cash and AP go at it. They do some basic wrestling and stand off. Cash shoulders him over. AP side headlock takeovers him. Cash headscissors him. AP does a side headlock takeover. Cash back elbows AP. 

AP armdrags Cash. Cash slaps Tom. They both do the side headlock takeover > headscissors spot. Dax shoulders him over and takes an armdrag. Dax takes a double shoulderblock. AP is double pounded on in the corner. 

Cash euros AP in the corner. AP dropkicks FTR. Tom headbutts Dax down then Tom and AP do stereo suplexes. Dax slaps AP on the ropes. AP chases Dax around the ring. AP takes a double clothesline. We go to PiP break and return. 

Dax and AP trade hard shots outside. Cash is sent into a pillar. Tom top rope plancha's FTR outside. Tom top rope dropkicks Dax. AP topes Cash. Tom crossfaces Dax and Dax goes for the sharpshooter. Tom top rope gutwrench suplexes Dax.

Tom misses a top rope diving headbutt. Dax and Tom fight on the buckles. AP and Tom hit stereo top rope diving headbutts on Dax for 2. AP euros Dax. Dax lariats AP down. FTR do stereo germans for 2. AP and Tom do stereo cradles on FTR.

FTR hit a powerplex on AP and win.

Thoughts: It was a good match as expected. It got a lot of time and AP's team lost as expected. It was stiff, the crowd was hot and we had some nice spots before going home. Tom coming back was random as he hadn't been seen or mentioned for some time. I'd like to see this one again but I don't know how much use Tom and AP have outside of these kind of matches.

Dax puts a border city stretch on AP after. Tom breaks it up. Stokeley Hathaway comes in the ring after. Stoke says this is all Cope's and Cage's fault. He says they took their frustration out on AP and Tom. Stoke says we will see the end of Cope and Cage in 2 weeks. 

The Outrunners are in the forest/jungle in military gear. They hear some big noise then see Dalton Castle's boys. Dalton then appears on a tree. They shake hands and Dalton says let's go break some hearts.

Thoughts: We haven't seen Dalton for a long time and it's good to see him back too.

Mox does a promo in the parking lot. He says Garcia wanted everything he had and he didn't get it. He says Darby wanted to burn everything he has. Mox asks what they think he has that they don't? Mox says it's not his talent, name, size or social skills. He asks what else can you take away from him when he had nothing but a few belts? He says he will get the belts back and win more. He says belts are a basic unit of measurement for small thinking. He says think bigger. He says him and Darby were never the front runners. He says the results will speak for themselves. He says it broke his heart that Darby came back looking for a fight with him. Mox says Darby is simple minded. He says Darby just won't go away. He says he will put Darby in the ground at All Out.

Thoughts: This started off good but then fell off. 

The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) and Megan Bayne vs Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron

Wheeler Yuta comes out to give tips to Kris.

Thek boots Toni to start and pounds on her. Toni running boots her then hair throws her. Toni stomps on Thek in the corner. Toni backbreakers Thek. Thek takes a double back elbow then Mina rolls over Toni's back onto Thek.

Mina and Thek pose at the same time. Harley step up enzugiri's Hart then corner splashes her. Hart takes a russian legweep then Kris slingshot swantons her. Kris drops Harley onto Hart for 2.

Kris chops down Hart then corner euros her. Hart takes a double spin kick and a sling blade from Mina for 2. Mina is rolled into a 2nd rope diving lariat from Meg. We go to PiP break and return.  

Mina is double teamed on the ropes. Hart STO's her then standing moonsaults her for 2. Hart hits mounted shots on her. Mins figure fours Skye and ddt's Hart at the same time. Toni is tagged in. She dropkicks Skye then germans her.

Toni germans Hart then suplexes Thek. Toni hip attacks Skye. Skye superkicks Kris. Mina walks up the buckles and dives on Meg outside. Skye takes a double team drop on her chest. Toni backdrops Hart. Thek spears Toni. Meg samoan drops Mina then Kris spinning lariats Meg. Meg flying lariats her. Kris lariats Meg over the top and goes with her.

Harley and Skye trade. Harley slingblade facebusters Skye. Kris and Hart trade shots. Hart christos Kris. Harley is rammed into the pillar outside. Kris is rolled up for 2 by Hart. Hart is electric chair facebustered then Kris seatbelt pins Hart, which is Yuta's move.

Thoughts: It was a decent tag with lots of people coming in and out. It was nothing great or super memorable but I had no issues with it.

Toni beats up on the heels after and Thek forearms her down. Thek hits mounted shots. Toni takes a double superkick. Mina comes in and fights off The Triangle before being triple teamed. Mina takes a double superkick and is held for a Thek spear. Jamie Hayter comes out to help the faces. She lariats hart and Skye in the aisle then uranage backbreakers Thek. Jamie offers to help up Toni after and Toni knocks her hand away. She asks what Jamie wants and Jamie says she's trying to help her up. Kris then comes in and tries to make peace. 

Toni gets on the mic and challenges Kris, Jamie and Thek to a title match at All Out.

Thoughts: The wrestlers had confused faces after Toni said that and it didn't make much more sense to me.

We get a video on Ace Austin. He says winning titles is his goal and it's not a matter of if, but when. He says he has everything to prove and gain. He talks about being invited to Bullet Club. He says he always has an ace up his sleeve.

Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson are interviewed. Gunn says they've been asking what their plan is with all the injuries in their group. Gunn says he can't keep saying guns up when they are down. Juice says no more cardboard stand-up's. He says they were dealt a bad hand and needs to play the cards they are dealt.

Mercedes Mone does a video on Riho. She says she decided to come back and reintroduce herself in the most disrespectful way. She says she will never get the title and says she called her teacher Emi Sakura. She says Riho and Alex Windsor should face Mone and Emi in a tag match. She says she will show there is a price to pay when you mess with Mone.

Thoughts: I hate then AEW does this stuff. We haven't seen Emi in forever. Nobody knows or cares that she's her teacher.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring. He brings out Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander and Don Callis. Don says he's proud of Kyle and he's everything he wanted Kenny Omega to be. He says he put Kenny out for good. Josh calls out Adam Page. He says he has something he doesn't - Don Callis. He says he's running through him for himself and his family. 

Kyle says Step 1 is bringing the AEW Title back to The Family and Step 2 is Josh taking on Page. He says Mark Briscoe wants to be champ but he (Kyle) will be champ for a long time. He says Mark needs to beat Takeshita tonight and that won't happen. He says he needs to think about what's best for The Protostar. He says he will bring an end to Swerve and Page. He says he could be the greatest TNT champ of all time by holding that and the AEW World Title. He says he wants a shot at Page's title and he wants it at All Out. He says it won't take him years to become the guy, he only has to wait 2 weeks. He says he will put Page on the injured list if he doesn't take his offer. He says everyone will have no choice but to say Kyle's name. 

We get another Hologram clone video with them saying "soon".

Kyle O'Reilly, Ishii, Hologram and Strong talk. Kyle says we are now cloning luchadores. Strong calls Ishii "Mr. Potato Head" and says this is all his fault. Kyle says there's no namecalling in The Conglomeration. Kyle says Ishii is going back to Japan and they are without their enforcer when he goes. Strong says he'd be fine if Ishii doesn't return. Kyle says let's take time to cool off and conglomerate. 

Anthony Bowens is interviewed outside. He says he's not dressed to compete as he was at a movie premier. He says he'll be at celebrity home run derby. Jerry Lynn interrupts. He says he's been a coach here and has given Bowens a lot of advice. He puts him over and says he went from the top of the top to the bottom of the top. He says it's time he takes a look in the mirror and figures out what's missing. Bowens says nothing and they both walk off.

Mark Briscoe vs Konosuke Takeshita

Mark gets a TNT Title shot if he wins. They lock up and KT wristlocks him. Mark armdrags him then trips him. Mark la magistal's him for 2. The trade shots. We are supposed to go to break but don't. Mark suplexes him. We then go to break.

We return and Mark takes a bridging ddt on the floor. KT facelocks him. Mark hits shots to the chest. Mark hits chops and forearms. Mark flying forearms him. 

Mark fisherman busters KT for 2. KT blue thunders Mark for 2. KT tope con hilos him. KT is pulled over the top then Mark dropkicks him through the ropes. Mark blockbusters KT on the floor from the apron. Mark sliding lariats KT for 2. KT lariats Mark down. We go to PiP break and return.

KT hits shots on Mark and Mark back enzugiri's him. Mark rolling death valley drivers him. Mark sunset bombs KT off the 2nd rope. Mark goes for a froggy bow but KT gets his knees up. KT corner forearms him then Mark does the same back. 

KT corner facekicks Mark. KT goes up and over with a german. Mark lariats KT for 2. KT knees him in the gut then package tombstones him. KT then wheelbarrow germans him off of it for 2. Mark is crotched up top. KT is headbutted off the buckles. Don Callis gets on the apron from commentary. MJF then comes out and pushes Mark off the top. KT pumping knees Mark. KT hits a raging fire on Mark and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent match as expected. They didn't overdo it too much here and the announcers did a good job of explaining why MJF came out. I guess Kyle vs Mark is now off at the PPV.

KT and MJF push each other and get close to fighting after. Don takes KT away. MJF and Mark then fight. Security comes down to try and break it up. MJF gets on the mic. He makes a racial remark and tells Mark to name the time and place. He says his @ss is his. He tells Mark that he wants a response. Mark says MJF messed up. Mark says it's at All Out but doesn't have a stipulation yet. He says MJF has signed his death warrant.

Overall thoughts: It was a very heavy wrestling show. It felt like a better show than usual as we got some storyline updates and there were no random matches on this one. I liked it overall and thought they did a good job with it. I'll give this a 6 out of 10.
