We get a Hulk Hogan tribute before the show starts.

Maxxine Dupri and Natalya vs Lainey Reid and Karmen Petrovic

Redi and KP making Main Event is good, but them not making NXT is bad. I guess this makes KP a heel?

KP and Nat lock up. KP pushes her and piefaces her. Nat waistlock takedowns her. KP misses a corner charge then armdrags her. KP backs up in the corner and tags out.

Reid gets in and takes a release german and a spinning lariat. Nat baseball slides KP then Max jumps off the steps onto Reid. Reid clubs on Nat back over the apron. Reid hits back elbows on Nat. KP stomps Nat in the corner and sliding kicks her.

Reid running euros Nat in the corner. KP hits a kick on Nat then slingblades her. KP bodyscissors Nat then hooks her legs behind her neck. Nat boots Reid out of the corner.

Max comes in. She pump kicks KP then hits spinning high kicks on both opponents. Max release fisherman suplexes Reid then corner splashes her. Max does the reverse caterpillar elbow drop on Reid for 2.

Reid rolls up Max for 2. Max ankle locks Reid. Nat sharpshooters KP at the same time. Max and Nat get the win.

Thoughts: This went pretty well and was one of Max's better performances. Max isn't the cleanest but she knows when to do various moves, she has some charisma, she has a good look and she's finally putting all of it together. Just being on this show was a good thing for Reid and KP here. I liked this and thought it was helpful for Max and Nat. 

Johnny Gargano vs Nathan Frazer

This is an odd one with both being tag wrestlers. JG rides him on the mat and armdrags him with an armlock. NF cartwheels out of a wristlock then armdrags him. NF armlocks him. NF flying kicks him. NF goes to dive but LaRae is in the way and he stops.

JG slingshot spears him then superkicks him form the apron. JG and DIY then clap for themselves. We go to break and return. NF is tripped into the ropes. He holds onto the ropes, gets pulled then enzugiri's JG. NF springboard clubs him then running ssp's him for 2.

NF misses a phoenix splash. JG step up enzugiri's him. NF jumping knees him. NF asai moonsaults into a JG knee. JG hits something like a falcon arrow for 2. NF walks up the buckles and superplexes JG. He then twisting suplexes him for 2.

Ciampa distracts the ref, Axiom grabs him. LaRae knocks NF off the buckles then JG slingshot spears NF to win.

Thoughts: Workrate wise, it was one of the better Main Event matches in a while. These guys went at it at a very fast pace that you just do not see on this show often. They had an entertaining juniors match here full of action and they definitely put some work in on this.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here but both were good and surpassed my expectations. There's nothing must see here but this went about as well as it could have. I liked what we got here and enjoyed the new content.
