We are in Syracuse, NY. Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect are our hosts. Vince says it's National Hamburger Week. Perfect says Warrior had a curse put on him by Papa Shango last week and says Warrior is under a whopper of a spell. He says when Papa orders a curse, Warrior's buns are as good as toasted pal.

Shawn Michaels vs Sonny Blaze

Shawn takes a while to get ready as usual. SB side headlocks him. They shove each other. Shawn hits punches in the corner. SB bends over and is hit with a neckbreaker. Shawn dropkicks him. Sherri distracts SB outside then Shawn double axe handles SB from the apron. Shawn grabs SB by the apron and throws him in.

Shawn superkicks him out of the corner. Shawn hits a backdrop and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't too much of note here. SB got nothing in but a shove and was put down easy.

WWF Update

Gene talks about Sgt. Slaughter vs Ric Flair from last week. We see Sarge get zapped with the super shock stick by The Mountie.  

Gene says Mountie's new shock stick is more powerful and says Jimmy Hart set the whole thing up. The Mountie and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Mountie brags about putting 8,000 volts into Sarge. He says Sarge will surrender to him. 

Tatanka vs Barry Hardy

Barry shoves Tat from behind. Tat chases him out and chops him outside. Tat leapfrogs him and dropkicks him. Tat lariats him over the top. Tat does an inset promo. He says Martel tried to blind him and now has disgraced him by taking his feathers. He says he will take his revenge. Tat suplexes him in then chops him.

Tat chops and slams him. Tat hits a 2nd rope chop then samoan drops him for the win.

Thoughts: It was all squash here and Tat didn't do much but chops in this one which was only so interesting.

We get an ad for the WBF Championship. 

The Berzerker vs Scott Taylor

Vince wonders how Lex Luger will compare to the others at the WBF show. Berz facekicks Scott then throws him around. Berz slams him then knee drops him. Berz hits a legdrop then slams him. Berz then backdrop lifts Scott and throws him out for the DQ win.

Thoughts: It was the usual Berz squash. It didn't get a ton of time but Scott wasn't getting anything in so it doesn't matter.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 6/6/1992 Boston Garden show. Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair do a promo. Perfect says there are two things that are real - the Liz pictures and that Ric is the greatest of all time. He says Macho and his pictures are bogus. Flair says the time is now and calls him the temporary champ. Flair says he can beat him. He says the time is now, the belt is his and so is Liz.

Macho Man does a promo. He says there's gonna be a fight. Macho says he can't wait to get to him and says there will be pandemonium. He says lightning will strike a million times on Flair and says he will beat him.

 

Crush does a promo at a junkyard. He says you know how tough it is to crush opponents night by night. He says he crushes cars here to relax and be himself. We then see him crush a car with a machine. Crush says, wasn't that relaxing? 

The Repo Man vs Jay Sledge

Repo hits Jay from behind before it starts and pounds on him. Repo hits a shot to the chin and laughs. The British Bulldog does an inset promo. He says he's coming after him. He says Repo will find out that his bite is worse than his bark.

Repo puts Jay in tree of woe and boots him. Repo half crabs Jay and submits him, which is a new submission.

Thoughts: Jay got nothing in here and got attacked before the bell which the ref should have done something about.

Repo chokes Jay with the rope and drags him around after. 

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 6/6/1992 Boston Garden show. The Genius and The Beverly Brothers do a promo. Genius calls them the Legion of Sissies. Blake says The LOD will hear "LOS". Beau says LOD has no brains and maybe Genius can give them a lesson.

The LOD and Paul Ellering do a promo. Hawk says they are 3 little fish in a case with big sharks. Paul says it's survival of the fittest. He says he'll be there and says he will knock Genius' head off like a jack in the box if he sticks his head in there.

The Bezerker and Mr Fuji do a promo. Fuji says Berz stopped Taker in his own tracks. Berz says he told Taker he was the toughest in the WWF and asked how it felt to get his head caved into the cement.

The Big Boss Man vs Glen Ruth

Boss kicks Glenn off the lock up. He then wind-up uppercuts him. Boss goes after him outside and bangs his head off the apron. Boss facekicks Glenn. Boss leg lariats him on the ropes. Boss sidewalk slams Glenn and gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. Glenn didn't put up a great fight here.

Nailz talks on the PA. He says he has done his time and is coming for Boss Man. Boss Man is confused. 

The Ultimate Warrior vs Brian Knobbs

Warrior runs down and lariats both Nasty Boys several times. Warrior lariats both out of the ring. Warrior throws Knobbs into the timekeeper against the rail. Warrior then nails Saggs. Warrior takes a 2v1 from The Nasty's. Saggs chokes Warrior with a jacket while Knobbs hits shots.

Knobbs elbow drops Warrior's back. Knobbs pulls off one of Warrior's wristbands and elbow drops him. Papa Shango comes out. Papa takes Warrior's wristband. Knobbs forearms Warrior. Warrior is about to go to Pity City but Knobbs is sent into it instead.

Warrior starts to hulk up but Knobbs hits more punches. Warrior running lariats him then shoulders him over. Saggs then chairs Warrior in the back while Jimmy Hart distracts the ref. Warrior kicks out at 2 as Saggs leaves.

Knobbs clubs on Warrior and misses a corner charge. Warrior running lariats him twice then hits a flying shoulder. Warrior then splashes Knobbs and wins.

Thoughts: It was a burial of The Nasty's here. They cheated, openly, and still got beat. Saggs also stupidly left instead of sticking around and then Knobbs got pinned.

Warrior bangs Saggs' and Hart's heads together. Papa Shango then comes out. He holds up his necklace at Warrior and shakes. Warrior then holds his gut and falls down. Perfect talks about Warrior having a curse put on him by Papa. Vince says it's just a coincidence. Warrior is then helped out by the officials.

Thoughts: I'll defend a lot of stuff, but not this. This is way too cartoony and over the top.

Warrior is then checked on in the back as he holds his gut. He then vomits on a doctor.

The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly) vs Bobby Knight and Jim Brunzell

Perfect calls what happened to Warrior embarassing and Vince says everyone gets sick sometimes. The Genius does a promo calling The LOD the Legion of Sissies. He says Hawk, Animal and Ellering are "The Sissy Three".

The LOD and Ellering do an inset promo. Paul says he wants The Bev's decimated and destroyed.

Jim side headlocks Beau. Beau blocks a hiptoss. Jim gets some shots in, atomic drops Beau and rolls him up for 2. Beau punches Jim in the gut. Jim hits a dropkick. Bobby takes a double underhook suplex from Beau.Bobby is dropped throat first on the ropes by Blake. Blake then hits elbow drops. Bobby takes a shaker heights spike and is pinned.

Thoughts: Jim got a surprising amount of offense in on Beau and Beau seemed to be taken off guard by it.

Bobby is held up after and Beau paints him like an LOD member. He then writes "LOS" on his chest. Bobby has an Animal wig then put on him and they slap him and call him Animal.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 6/6/1992 Boston Garden show. The Mountie and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Hart says when Mountie talks, Sarge will now listen. Mountie says he sits at home and compares Canada to the US. He says the Canadian government takes care of you. He says Uncle Sam wants you to work for him but then wants you to pay for your medicare.

Sgt. Slaughter does a promo. He calls Mountie "Dudley Do-Wrong". He says him and Jimmy did something they will regret. He says they stuck their "electrocution machine" in the wrong man. He says he's coming after him like he has never come after anyone before. He says he will tear him limb from limb and says the Royal Mounted Police won't recognize him.

Vince says Warrior has stopped convulsing. Vince talks about next week's show. 

Overall thoughts: It was a little better than usual as we got a star vs star match, a really stupid angle with The Ultimate Warrior and Papa Shango, The Bev's painting jobbers up like LOD and Crush hanging out at the junkyard. There was no mention of Sid or Hulk here and Sid is basically done with the WWF. There's nothing you need to see here but at least we got some things outside of the usual one sided squashes.
