Vic Joseph, Booker T and Corey Graves are on commentary. We get clips from last week's show to start.

Joe Hendry vs Wes Lee

Trick Williams comes out to do commentary for this. Joe wristlock takedowns him. Wes wristlocks him then Joe side headlock takeovers him. Wes headscissors him and they stand off.

Wes upkicks him then Joe shoulders him over. Wes flying headscissors Joe out of the ring. Wes dropkicks Joe through the ropes. Joe flips Wes with a lariat outside. We go to break and return.  Joe is tripped by Tyriek Igwe then Wes topes Joe.

Wes 2nd rope phoenix splashes Joe for 2. Wes hits punches on Joe then pump kicks him. Joe blocks a tornado ddt and suplexes Wes. Joe lariats Wes then fallaway slams him. They trade shots. Joe hits an inverted AA for 2. 

Joe is distracted by Wes' buddies. Mike Santana then comes down and hits Igwe and Dupont. Joe hits a chokeslam on Wes and wins.

Thoughts: It was average and not too much of note. Joe thankfull got the win here (he just lost to Kaz recently so you never know).

Joe and Mike stare down after.

We see Tatum Paxley talking to Sola Ruca and Zaria last week. They tell Tatum to keep an eye on Izzi. Izzi says Tatum was trying to help and asked why they got involved. Izzi tells Tatum she knows she didn't try to hurt her. She says she lost the match but won Tatum's friendship. Zaria tells Tatum that if she wants to fall for her act then go ahead. Izzi says she'd make a great team with Tatum and Tatum says she thinks she is right.

Luca Crusifino comes out to talk. Luca says Ton has been questioning his loyalty and he wants to put this to rest. Tony D'Angelo comes out. Tony says Luca hit him in the face first. Luca said he listened to Tony and now Tony will listen to him. Luca says they should talk loyalty. He said he left college early for Tony and turned down other job offers for Tony. He says he's never done a thing to doubt Tony and says that's loyalty.

Stacks comes out with The Heritage Cup. Stacks thanks Luca and said he wouldn't be Heritage Cup champ without him. Luca tells Stacks to shut up. Tony mirrors what he said then Luca punches out Tony. Stacks talks trash then Luca punches out Stacks too. Luca says he's loyalty lies with Luca Crusifino.

Oba Femi is interviewed. He says he wants to know if Inamura has the grits to get past Jasper Troy as Troy is hungry. Inamura and Briggs comes in. Inamura says he will show him grits and tenacity. he says he's hungry for the biggest test. Oba says there's only one constant in NXT and it's him. He says he's not the hunted, he's the hunter. He says he will see the winner soon. Inamura says he won't be waiting long.

Lexis King vs Myles Borne

King wristlocks him. MB kips up and reverses it. King cartwheels and upkicks MB. MB drops down and King walks on his back. MB backdrops King then rolls him around. King hits chops. MB goes up on the buckles and is dropkicked.

King pounds on him then suplexes him for 2. King corner chops him then corner dropkicks him for 2. King does a grounded abdominal stretch. King ear claps him then MB hits punches. MB is pulled into the buckles face first. King slaps him.

MB hits punches then hits lariats. MB belly to belly overhead suplexes him. MB olympic slams him for 2. MB hits a nice dropkick. MB hits a bad zigzag and wins.

Thoughts: MB won as expected here. He did a decent job as a face and moved well like he always has.

Borne then poses with the 2 Florida University football players from last week and holds up their belt. 

Dark State do a video. Griffin says Hank and Tank got dropped and everyone points their finger at them. DIon says they see everything and chaos is their game. Shugars says if they catch you slacking, there's no saving you. Dion says he thinks they know where they can go next but says the crowd doesn't.

Thea Hail vs Lainey Reid

They lock up and roll on the ropes. LR throws her backwards. Thea trips her and hits mounted forearms. Thea legsweeps her and hits a stnading moonsault for 2.

Thea backsplashes her then back elbows her. Thea's head is banged off the buckles and LR germans her. LR hits elbows to the shoulder then stomps her. Thea back elbows her then LR chinlocks her. LR does a nice shoulderbreaker for 2.

LR misses an elbow drop. Thea codebreakers the arm. Thea hits polish hammers then sliding lariats her. Thea flipping neckbreakers her for 2. LR kicks her off the buckles. LR tries to pin her with her feet on the ropes but is caught. Thea backrolls her for 2.

LR pumping knees her in the gut and pins her holding the ropes.

Thoughts: The finish was a little here and Thea was a little rushed at times. It was about average overall and Reid didn't get to show off a lot here.

The No Quarter Catch Crew talk in their dojo. Tav talks about losing to Je'Von last week. Charlie says it proves he needs more time in NQCC. Tac says he wants a match with Charlie where if he wins, he can leave. Charlie agrees but says the convo ends once he wins. 

Thoughts: This was a dumb segment. Tav can just leave if he wants to.

Jasper Troy does a promo. He says the NXT locker room fears Oba Femi. He says he's dominant and exciting but said he didn't look that way against him. He says he's only one match away from the match he wants. He says Oba is rooting for Inamura. He says he's going through Inamura and says Oba's destiny is his.

ZaRuca (Sol Ruca and Zaria) vs Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley

TP has a blonde doll wearing black like Izzi.

Sol and TP argue. Zar pushes Sol away and the four argue. Sol is lifted for a kick on both opponents. TP flips over Sol and waistlocks her. TP step up enzugiri's her. Izzi slams Sol. Izzi corner spears Sol then hits shots in the corner. TP boots Sol in the corner.

Sol yanks on TP's arm then elbows it. Sol running back elbows TP in the corner. TP takes a double hiptoss and a double elbow drop for 2. Izzi and Zar push each other. Izzi running facekicks her for 2. They trade forearms and shots. Zar facekicks her over. TP top rope crossbodies Zar for 2.

TP front facelocks Zar. Sol slingshot facebusters TP then facebusters Izzi. Zar has TP on her back. Sol stands on TP's back and dives on Izzi. Zar then gorilla presses TP onto Izzi outside.We go to break and return. Izzi dropkicks Zar while TP holds Zar. Izzi corner spears Zar. TP dropkicks Zar then corner crossbodies her. Izzi then holds TP there against Zar's gut.

Izzi short arm clotheslines TP. Izzi's nose is busted open. Izzi and Zar trade shots. Izzi chokeslams her. TP flipping legdrops Zar over the back of the neck for 2. TP step up enzugiri's Zar for 2. TP ddt's Zar. TP tries to corner crossbody her but Zar gets her knees up.

Sol gets in and hits a bunch of offense on the heels. She then basement dropkicks both. Zar corner splashes TP then launches Sol into her. Zar slams Izzi. Zar fips Sol onto Izzi for 2. Sol sweeps TP on the apron. Izzi codebreakers Zar. Izzi goes to tag in TP but she's down outside.

TP moves Izzi and Zar spears Sol on accident. Zar gets mad and is pulled over the top. Izzi sky highs Sol and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a quick moving match and everyone looked pretty good here. The Tatum stuff also added a little to this. I'd like to see them run this one again as I think it helped out everyone here. It was definitely one of Tatum's better showings.

Niko Vance puts Tatum on his shoulder after. 

Ava talks to Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes and Ethan Page in the back. Ava wants to have a civil conversation. Saints says that won't happen and wants Page. Page says he's the North American champ and says he will dictate everything about the title on his terms. Page says Saints can earn a shot if he survives The Vanity Project Gauntlet. Jackson Drake starts coughing and pretends to be sick. Starks says he doesn't mind as he gets to dictate the stipulation for his rematch if he wins. Page doesn't agree but Ava says she likes this idea and sets it up.

We go to Chase U. Chase says Uriah reminded him that it may be time for him to learn new tricks. He says he apologizes and says tough love is the only way he knows. He says he would have never re-opened Chase U if it wasn't for them. Chase says he got Kale a singles match next week and says he wants to be better. Kale says apology accepted and hugs him. Chase tells Kale to promise to listen to him and says ot promise that he shows he's Chase U tough.

Joe Hendry and Mike Santana are interviewed in the back. Joe thanks him for helping him. Mike says they will fight in 2 weeks but they are united to defend TNA. They are told they will fight High Ryze next week. Joe says they are different but they are on a quest to bring the TNA Title back to TNA. Mike says Joe's a cornball but he reps TNA to the max. Mike says he will bring the TNA Title back home and says to get ready for Slamiversary. Joe says the job is fit for one man and Mike is looking at him.

Briggs hypes up Inamura in the locker room and says he has got this. Inamura says he wants to go out alone.

Ava and The Culling talk in the back. Tatum is happy about the win. Shawn says Tatum looks like one of the family. Ava congrats them on the win. Ava says Izzi will face Sol for the Women's N-A Title as she pinned Sol. She says she will face her at The Bash. Hank and Tank walk in. They blame The Culling for attacking them and security comes in. Tatum yells and says her new friends would never do something like that. She dares them to put their titles on the line next week. Ava then makes the match. 

#1 Contender's Match - Jasper Troy vs Yoshiki Inamura

YI hits forearms on Troy. Troy slams him then elbow drops him for 2. Troy throws YI in the corner and splashes him. Troy hits a hard lariat for 2. Troy chinlocks him.

Troy hits short arm lariats. YI backdrops him then elbow drops him for 2. YI side headlocks him and we see Oba watching in the back. YI sumo shoulders him then Troy side slams him for 2. YI lariats Troy over the top. We go to break and return. 

Troy bodyblocks him then splashes him. Troy hits another splash then another for 2. Troy hits a big slam for 2. Troy is sent into the post. YI hits chops and a forearm flurry. Troy black hole slams him for 2. YI gets his knees up when Troy splashes him. YI fires up and hits forearms and chops.

YI slams Troy. YI spinning slams Troy. YI hits a top rope splash on Troy and wins.

Thoughts: I don't love Troy losing here but it is what it is. Inamura's not winning the title though. What we got was decent here with them having a big man match with slams, lariats and splashes.

Oba then comes up to YI in the aisle. Je'Von Evans then comes in and springboard cutters Troy.

Jordynne Grace comes out to talk. She says getting to this point was the hardest thing she ever had to do. She said the last week reminded her that she thrives under pressure. She says the bigger the battle the bigger the win. She says she will be on WWE Evolution and will make history with them.

She says she has to vulnerable and she's terrified by that. She says she has to ask if she's good enough to be here and if she belongs here.

She says she became someone they couldn't ignore to get here. She says she will beat Jacy Jayne at Evolution and remind people who she is.

Fatal Influence comes out. Jacy asks if Grace is done with the sob story. She says congrats on making it the highlight of her career. She says she knows Grace can bench press more than her but she can't carry. She says she will never carry the division the way she does. She says keep hoping a title will fall into her arms but it won't be her title and it won't be at Evolution.

Jacy says she's at the top of her game. She says her and Blake Monroe think they can walk and be at the top but they can't. She says Jacy shocked the world when she won the title but she won't shock the world when she wins. They end up fighting and Grace is double teamed as Nyx watches.

Blake Monroe comes out and hits forearms on Jacy and Fallon. Blake slingblades Fallon and Grace spinebusters Jacy. Ava comes out. She says Fallon and Jacy will face Grace and Blake at Evolution. Jacy and Fallon then go back to fight more. The heels are knocked out of the ring and the show ends.

Overall thoughts: I thought it was a good show. There was nothing great here but nothing was awful. They are working on the building to The Great American Bash but it doesn't look like it's going to be some major event. I liked the Sol/Zaria tag best here and Inamura/Troy was fine. Myles Borne had a good showing as well. Luca knocking out Tony and Stacks was a surprise as well. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 as the wrestling mostly carried this one.
