Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/08/wwe-main-event-7312025.html

Penta vs Grayson Waller
GW takes a fan's phone as he enters and throws it on the floor.
Penta does his strut then poses. GW drops him with a punch. GW stomps on Penta and they chop each other in the corner. GW hits a big punch. GW superkicks him for 2. GW then hits forearms on Penta's neck for 2.
GW cravates him. GW hits knees to the chest. Penta kicks him in the chest then hits a slingblade bulldog. Penta plancha's GW outside. Penta top rope crossbodies him for 2. GW pulls Penta's throat over the top. GW rolls in and flatliners him. GW rope walk elbow drops him for 2.
Penta step up enzugiri's him then handstand double pendulum dropkicks him in the corner. Penta does a spinning canadian destroyer then hits a made in japan on GW to win.
Thoughts: It was a shorter one. The work was fine. Penta didn't do a lot here. GW was a lot more muscular here than usual. Penta got the win as expected and it is sad to see GW reduced to doing jobs on this show when he should be in the main event mix.
Penta poses with kid wearing his mask in the ring after.
Kiana James vs Michin
This is Kiana's first televised match back after a year off. Kiana's chest is much bigger than it used to be. Mich has lost a lot of weight and looks skinny.
They lock up. KJ is backed up in the corner and complains about a hair pull. KJ backs her up in the corner and misses a shot. Mich waistlock takedowns her then front facelocks her. Mich hammerlocks her then KJ side headlocks her. Mich side headlock takeovers her.
KJ yanks on her arm. Mich hits armdrags then shoulders her over. Mich is pulled down on the apron and KJ running headkicks her. We go to break and return. KJ hits a punch. Mich hits punches to the gut and KJ knees her in the gut. Mich's face is banged off the mat.
KJ hits corner spears then backflips and hits another. KJ hits knees to the back then suplexes her. KJ stomps on her then elbow drops her. Mich throws her over by the hair and they both knock each other down.
Mich hits forearms then lariats and superkicks her. Mich shotgun dropkicsk her then flying headscissors her. Mich dropkicks her through the ropes. Mich PK's her from the apron.
Mich hits a soul foot and picks up the win.
Thoughts: It went a bit long here and I'm sure that was to give KJ more ring time. KJ looked good and didn't look like she missed a step at all after her knee injury. She's been lifting weights and looks much more muscular than before. The work was fine but it wasn't that great. It was definitely a step above some of the usual work here though from the women.
Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here as usual and some recaps. Both matches were fine but neither were great. The men got a lot less time than the women did here. Kiana James made her in-ring return on this show and she looked maybe even a bit better than the last time we saw her. There's nothing must see here, but if you want to see Kiana again, here's your chance.
