The Slimeballz are outside and breaking into a car to steal gas. Rant is trying to suck water out of the car. Knox and Murdoch spot them doing it. The Slimes then run.

Bryan Idol vs Silas Mason

SM spits at him and Idol hits punches. Idol hits a bad neckbreaker then hits chops and punches in the corner. SM corner splashes him then Idol flying knees him in the corner. Idol lariats him over the top. Idol then topes him (he got injured last time he tried this on SM though SM chaired him during it which caused it). SM rams Idol into the post shoulder first.

We go to break and return. SM kicks the rail into Idol's arm. SM then drops a guard rail onto Idol's arm. SM chairs the rail into Idol's arm. SM then chokes him with the chair. SM is back body dropped onto the rail. Idol then throws SM onto the rail. 

They trade shots. Idol superkicks him for 2. SM single arm ddt's him. SM is pushed into a chair between the buckles. Idol jumps off a chair at him and SM powerbombs him on a chair. SM tries to pin him and gets a 2 count but SM's music plays for some reason. Idol does like a 2nd rope back body drop and knee drops him for 2. SM his a thrill ride and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. They brought some hate here and used weapons to rough each other up. I would have liked SM to do more with them arm though since he worked it early on. Idol hit some bad strikes to start.

They shake hands after and SM hits the thrill ride. SM then hits mounted shots.

EC3 is at the comic book store. EC complains about Meltzer's star ratings system and says the industry has evolved. He says you have to have a transcendent match to become an overloard. He says when you stare at the abyss, you have to be careful it doesn't stare back at him. The comic book guy says he heard a rumor about Hunter and wrote about it in his newsletter. He says it involves him, his girlfriend Kylie Paige and EC.

Comic book guy says he can tell something is going on and wants a quote from Hunter. Comic book guy threatens to put out another article about this situation and Hunter ends up leaving.

We get another Dothan Today segment. Chelsea congratulates Mims on being the National Heavyweight champ. Mimis said he told everyone he would win but says congratulations aren't necessary. He is asked what he thinks of Joe Cazana. He says he doesn't think about that carny piece of trash. Chelsea says Joe decides his future as the territorial president. Mims says he has nothing to do with him and he doesn't listen to him. Mims gets mad and the segment is cut off.

NWA World Women's Title #1 Contendership Match - Natalia Markova vs. Kylie Paige

 

KP hits her while she poses on the ropes. KP stomps on her then stomps her in the corner. KP corner dropkicks her against the bottom buckle. KP dropkicks her through the ropes outside.

KP hits her from behind then forearms her. KP's head is banged off rails. Nat is thrown hard into the steps. KP running hip attacks her against the steps. KP's head is banged off the apron. They go up to the stage to fight. They trade forearms and Nat takes a nasty german on the stage. Nat is then rolled down the ramp.

Nat takes boot in the corner. KP chokes her on the 2nd rope. Nat is thrown down by the arm. KP pulls Nat down backwards onto her knee. KP misses a corner charge. Nat goes up and over then knees her in the face. KP sleepers her. Nat cutters her.

We go to break and return. KP hits forearms. Nat hits chops on her then high kicks her. Nat swinging facebusters her for 2. KP forearms her in the corner. Nat hits a hard top rope dropkick for 2.

KP superkicks her for 2. KP hits a shining wizard for 2. KP boots her in the gut then hits a fisherman buster on the knee for 2. KP misses a dropkick in the corner then Nat spinning heel kicks her in the corner. Nat double underhook ddt's her and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. Nat was a solid face here getting the crap beaten out of her and doing some nice fiery comebacks.  This was easily one of Nat's better matches here and this was definitely a good showcase for her. This was good.

Overall thoughts: As always, the matches were basically random. Idol/Silas had a story to it with Idol getting injured in their last match, but they didn't build that up. The match was fine though. We got the usual not so good outside of the ring segments here at the comic book store and at the TV studio. We then had a good Paige/Markova match. There were only 2 matches here so it was a little shorter than usual. However, since they only had 2 matches and since both were good, I can't really give it that bad of a rating. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall, but it doesn't quite mean what it looks like it means.
