Reyna Isis and Persephone vs Jarochita and La Catalina

1st fall - Reyna hiptosses Jar then Jar arm throws her. Jar armdrags her and they stand off. Jar armdrags her and is rolled up. Reyna armdrags her then Jar rolls around her back and armdrags her. Jar dropkicks her out.

Pers ducks a running lariat and superkicks Jar. Jar handstands on the top rope, headscissors Pers then does a running headscissors. Cat top rope crossbodies Pers then shotgun dropkicks her. Pers stomps on Cat.

Reyna is tripped into the buckles then takes a hip attack and a facewash kick. Reyna is pinned. Cat over the back rack drops Pers and pins her to win the fall.

2nd fall - Pers rolls up Cat, Jaro rolls her up, Reyna rolls her up then Cat rolls her up. Jar dropkicks Reyna then Pers hits a spear while Reyna hits a thesz press. Jar is german'd and Cat is fisherman suplexed. Reyna and Pers pick up stereo pins and win the fall. 

3rd fall - Cat takes corner attacks and a double basement dropkick. Jar is double teamed and is kicked in the leg. Jar is held for a facebuster. Pers takes down Cat and pounds on her. Cat takes a double boot. Jar is sat on the 2nd rope and takes a dropkick to the gut. Cat then is double stomped on by her opponents.

Jar is put in revese tree of woe and takes a jumping double knee for 2. The faces mount a comeback and Jar tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Reyna. Jar and Cat then do stereo topes outside for 2 counts. Pers is tripped into the ropes and takes a jumping double knee and a hip attack.

Jar TKO's Pers for 2. Cat package powerbombs Jar and Pers flatliners Cat. Both get 2 counts. Cat is pushed into Pers. Jar top rope dropkicks Cat on accident. Pers springboard splashes Cat and pins her. Jar hangs on the 2nd rope and Reyna 2nd rope guillotine legdrops her to win the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was fine and a little better than usual. As with most Mexican tags, it was basically a free for all with no real tags being made. There was a decent bit of action and no one botched anything so I okay with this one overall. 

Mexican National Heavyweight Title - Akuma (c) vs Volcano

They lock up. Ak waistlocks him then Vol armlocks him. Ak does a cobra twist then Vol armlocks him. Vol hits shots to the gut then Ak elbow drops him. Vol bodyscissors him. Vol does a nice kip up out of an armlock and Ak is shocked.

Ak lariats him in the corner then stands on him on the 2nd buckle. Ak lariats Vol in the back of the neck then foot chokes him in the corner. Ak back body drops him.

Ak hits corner spears. Vol goes up and over and rolls him up for 2. Vol crucifixes him. Vol running back elbows him and kneels on him for a pin attempt. Vol chops him in the corner. Vol double boots him out of the corner then headflips off of him. They botch a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, turning it into a slam.

Vol hits mounted shots on Ak. Vol sits on his neck and pulls his arms backwards. Vol chops him. Ak rolls onto the ramp over the top then Vol bodyblocks him there. Vol rolls over the top into the ring then Ak runs the ramp and spears him inside.

Vol lariats Ak over the top. Vol then plancha's him off the apron. The ref does the ten count and Akuma gets in while Volcano is down and injured. Doctors then check on Volcano.

Thoughts: And this is why there's not a lot of Volcano types around. What they can do is super impressive, but all that weight is really hard on the knees. Hopefully Volcano is okay. I liked what we got of this as Volcano did look impressive prior to the injury and did a decent job of bullying around Akuma.

El Elemental, El Terrible and Barbaro Cavernario vs Magia Blanca, Brillante Jr and Star Jr

1st fall - Barb and MB go at it. Barb takes him down twice then is armdragged twice. Star and Ter get in. Star hammerlocks him and Ter kimura's him. They trade holds, Star tries a pin and they stand off. Ter trips Star then Star armbars him. Ter rolls him up. Star flying headscissors him. Elem shoulders Star out of the ring.

Bril springboard crossbodies Elem. He then headscissors him using the ropes. Ter boots Bril out then MB flying headscissors Ter. MB planchas Ter outside. Star top rope crossbodies Barb. Star hits chops on Barb.

Star kicks Barb in the gut and slingshot neckbreakers him. Star sentons him and pins him to win the fall.

2nd fall - MB tries to shoulder Ter and gets nowhere. MB hits kicks then shoulders him over. MB tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. MB enzugiri's Elem from the apron and 2nd rope flipping hurricanrana's him. MB satellite headscissors Barb out.

Star and Elem trade chest chops. Star chops and headbutts him. Ter hits Star as he runs the ropes and trips him up. Elem chops Ter on accident then Star slaps Ter. Star runs up the buckles then does a headscissors + armdrag combo on Ter and Elem.Barb corner lariats Star and Star returns the favor. 

Barb is booted and he caterpillar's up. Star is popped up and headscissors Barb down. Bril and Ter get in then Bril is triple teamed from behind. Bril flips over the heels' back and flying headscissors Ter. Bril 2nd rope diving headscissors Barb. Bril backflips into a spinning headscissors on Elem. Elem blocks Bril's diving headscissors off the apron and powerbombs him into the rail.

Star takes a double boot. MB takes corner attacks then Barb giant swings him. Bril takes a 2nd rope alley oop on the buckles. Barb springboard splashes Bril and pins him to win the fall.

3rd fall - Star is triple teamed to start the fall. Bril takes chops from the heels then is 2nd rope superplexed. Ter top rope splashes him for 2. Elem foot chokes MB on the ropes. MB is bridged on the ropes and Ter kicks him. Star is thrown down backwards. Star chops the heels up and is triple teamed again.

Star flying headscissors Ter. Barb enzugiri's Star. Bril superkicks Barb. Bril is helped up top and he springboard twisting armdrags Elem. MB hits a springboard headscissors then Star top rope dropkicks Barb. Bril's team then does triple stereo tope con hilos outside.

Bril topes Elem into the rails. Ter and Star trade chops. Star front suplexes him for 2. Star dropkicks him then Star is pulled out by the heels. Ter is then pulled out by the faces and sent into the rails.

MB and Bril take stereo powerbombs but the heels are caught by the ref trying to pin them with their feet on the ropes. MB and Bril get dropkicked by Ter together. Star top rope crossbodies er. Star takes a pop-up powerbomb from Ter and is pinned. Barb's team wins the fall and the match, 2 falls to 1.

Thoughts: It was a solid match and I had no issues with it. We got some nice dives from the faces and the heels acted like heels. It got a lot of time but managed to keep my interest throughout. Star may have gotten injured on the powerbomb as he held his head after.

Overall thoughts: There were only 3 new matches here as usual. The opening women's tag was fine. Akuma/Volcano was going okay but got stopped due to Volcano getting injured on a dive. I liked the main as both teams did what they were supposed to do and we got a good amount of dives from the faces. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as the 2nd match had to get stopped short due to an injury yet they still decided air it when they had other footage available
