WWE Speed #1 Contendet's Tournament Semifinals - Berto vs Noam Dar
Dar hits leg kicks on Berto then side headlocks him. Dar pulls him down off a leapfrog and ankle locks him. Dar flips him and bridges into a pin on him. They trade shots. Dark pump kicks him in the leg then Berto rolls him up for 2.
Dar knees him in the gut. Berto spinning enzugiri's him. Berto backrolls into a standing moonsault for 2. Berto is crotched up top. Dar does a bridging flatliner for 2. Dar punches him from behind then does an armbar. Berto hits a springboard enzugiri. Berto then hits a sitout powerbomb and wins.
Thoughts: It's not good for a current champ to lose here and that's what happened as Dar is the NXT Heritage Cup champ. It was like dancing at times here with both guys doing a lot of spins and generally not making it look that real. It got over better than expected though as the crowd had no reason to care about either guy. It was just a match and it was pretty average, but they got a lot out of the time they had.
Overall thoughts: There was only one match as usual and as usual, it was nothing you needed to see. Dar dropping the fall here while being the Heritage Cup champ was an unusual choice though.
