We are in Lexington, KY at the Rupp Arena. Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

John Cena comes out. He says he's every perso non wrestling's Mount Rushmore. He says no one in the past, present or future is comparable to him. He says he's smarter than you and you can't see him. He says he's always 1,000 steps ahead of everyone. He said he got in the Rumble and knew he could use his seniority to get in the Elimination Chamber. He said he knew Cody was obsessed with The Rock and said he just had to use that against him. He said he put R-Truth in the main event then made Logan Paul no longer a threat so he could get ready for CM Punk. He says Seth Rollins wants to cash in his MITB contract so he can be the only champ when Cena retires.

He says this is the greatest moment of the fans lives and says they are just a mathematical equation. He says the math says nobody else will be worthy enough to hold the title again. 

Cody Rhodes comes out. He says Cena is a genius and says it's unfortunate everything Cena said has come true. He asks why Cena didn't mention that Cody pinned him at SNME. He says he's not part of Cena's plan, Cena is part of his. Cody asks where that leaves them.

Randy Orton comes out. Orton said he had Cena dead to rights before somebody came and saved the day. Orton says it doesn't matter who he has to go through to win title #15. He says he loves Cody but will put him down to do it.

LA Knight comes out. He said he heard the world say they want LA Knight. LA says he's looking at the WWE establishment. He says he's the sore thumb standing out here. He says he will be champ even if he has to drop a balding b!tch in John Cena. Cena then leaves. Ron Killings then attachs Cena from behind and pounds on him. Security then breaks it up. 

We see John Cena arguing viciously with Nick Aldis in the back.

King of the Ring 1st Round - Randy Orton vs LA Knight vs Carmelo Hayes vs Aleister Black

Melo and Black trade shots. Black facekicks him and sends him out. Black is sent into the rails. Melo rolls up LA. Melo takes shots from all opponents and is lariated over the top. Black 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. Everyone excepts Melo stands off as we go to break.

We return and Melo gets atomic dropped and lariated by LA. LA stomps him in the corner. Melo la mistica drops Black then cutters LA over the top rope. Melo hits a blind springboard guillotine legdrop on LA. Melo springboard twisting lariats Black. Melo then tope con hilos Black.

LA dropkicks Melo through the ropes and bangs his head off the commentary table. Black is backdropped on the commentary table then pushed into the apron. Melo is on the buckles and trades with LA. Black kicks Melo while he's up top. Orton is sent into the post. LA jumps up top and is pushed down. Melo then top rope frogsplashes LA for 2. We go to break and return.

Black knees Melo in the face and high kicks him. Black spinning back elbows LA. Orton does a silly sell after a face kick that gets laughs. Black hits strikes on Melo and facekicks him for 2.

Orton hits lariats on Black then powerslams him, LA and Melo. Orton goes for a double draping ddt and kind of hits it but is neckbreakered by LA at the same time. Melo codebreakers Orton. LA BFT's Black for 2. LA hits a slam on Melo then is pulled down into the ropes by Bronson Reed. Bron Breakker then spears LA. Melo hits a top rope splash on LA but is RKO'd by Orton at the same time. Orton then pins La.

Thoughts: I liked the match. We had some nice and creative multi-person spots, they tied Reed and Bron into this and they got a decent amount of time. I don't like LA losing but at least it wasn't clean.

Jacob Fatu talks in the back. He says the US champ is here and he's America's Most Wanted.

Jacob Fatu comes out. Fatu says just because you are family doesn't mean you can go behind their backs and try to snake them. He talks about Solo saying Fatu would be nothing if it wasn't for him. Fatu says this is why he had to remind him what happens if you don't get in where you fit in. He says it's him against the world now as he is all gas and no breaks.

Solo Sikoa then appears on the tron with JC Mateo. He says Solo made the biggest mistake of his life at MITB. He says Fatu was doing nothing and was nothing last year until he brought him here. He said he made him into a star and says it was all because of him. He says he will be in the ring next week willing to take him back. He says he nears to hear "I love you Solo" though. He said he brought him into this world and he will take him out of it.

Nick Aldis talks to The Secret Hervice, though Chelsea Green is on a video call. She says they have to postpone her Queen of the Ring match until next week. Nick says they won't and says Alba Fyre can take her place. Green says she's not authorizing it but Nick says he is.

Zelina Vega comes in. She says she needs Giulia. Nick says she's not here. Nick says she's the wrong one if Giulia thinks one sneak attack will scare her. She says she wants her face to face next week as she doesn't hide from anyone.

Queen of the Ring First Round - Jade Cargill vs Michin vs Nia Jax vs Piper Niven

The four pair off and fight. PN throws Mich into the rails outside. PN runs into the post when Mich moves. Nia is sent into the steps. Jade waistlock takedowns Mich then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers her. Mich flying headscissors Jade then dropkicks her. PN slams Mich on the floor then Nia elbow drops Jade. PN sentons Mich outside.

Nia chops Jade then samoan drops her. PN sentons Jade. Nia spears the post when Jade moves. Jade pump kicks PN. Mich asai moonsaults all 3 girls outside. We go to break and return.

Jade hits corner attacks then Nia splashes PN. Jade superkicks Nia then PN bodyblocks Jade. Nia bangs Jade's head off the mat. Jade takes corner splashes, a corner hip attack and a corner cannonball. Nia pulls PN up from the pin attempt. They push each other. Mich top rope flying headscissors Nia. Mich tornado bulldogs PN for 2.

Jade sitout powerbombs Mich for 2. Piper low crossbodies Jade. Mich sliced bread's PN for 2. Nia sentons Mich for 2. They fight outside. Jade takes shots from PN and Nia. Jade is thrown over the commentary table and basically flying lariats Wade.

Mich spinning ddt's PN for 2. Mich takes a double chokeslam. Nia banzai drops Mich for 2. Nia is sent into the post and PN spears her into the time keeper's rail. PN vader bombs Mich. Jade hits a jade end on PN and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. Nia and Piper teaming up was fun and Wade taking a bump was unique. We had some different types of girls in this one and it lead to a different type of multi-person match than usual. They did a good job with this.

Naomi watches in the back and heads to the ring. We go to break and return and she talks in the ring. Naomi says people are looking surprised and stupid. She says she took what she deserved and is Miss MITB. She said it will feel so good when she holds the Women's Title.

Tiffany Stratton comes out after being mentioned. Tiff says Naomi talks a big game and asks why doesn't she just cash in and take the title now. She says Naomi is the same Naomi - all talk and no action. Naomi asks if she looks stupid to her. She says she won't cash in on her now - she will cash in when she least expects it. She says she will enjoy making her life hell until then. She says her time is almost up and tells her to proceed with caution.

Nia Jax then tries to attack Tiff. Tiff dodges it and basement dropkicks her. Nia ends up hitting a banzai drop on Tiff. Naomi comes in and teases cashing in. Nia tells her to get out.

Nick Aldis talks to Fraxiom, The Guns, DIY and The Street Profits to decide who faces The Wyatts'. Nick says The Motor City Machine Guns get The Wyatt Sicks tonight. 

The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy)

The Wyatts run in. Gacy shoulders Alex over. Sabin takes a double back elbow then a senton. Lums backdrops and legdrops Sabin. Sabin takes a backbackbreaker from Joe. Joe asai moonsaults him for 2. Sabin avoids a double team and sends both opponents out. Alex and Sabin hit stereo baseball slides and plancha's.

We go to break and return. Sabin top rope dropkicks Joe. He chops Lumis then flying bulldogs him. Sabin step up enzugiri's Lumis for 2. Lumis takes a double kick from the apron. Alex corner lariats Lumis. Savin is crotched up top. Joe hits a handspring double lariat. Joe powerbombs Lumis into Sabin for 2.

Lumis and Sabin botch a spot. Lumis is atomic dropped then held for a basement dropkick. Sabin takes a superkick + spear to the back of the leg. Lumis top rope legdrops Sabin and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd didn't care about this at all and didn't know how to react since both were faces. Lumis had some highlights and lowlights in this one with some botches.

John Cena talks to Jimmy Uso in the back. He asks if he has seen R-Truth or Ron Killings. Uso hasn't. Cena says to let Truth know he's on the way to the ring and to meet him there.

John Cena comes out to the ring. He says he can tolerate some disrespect but R-Truth crossed some lines. He tells Truth to come out and fight.

CM Punk comes out. Punk asks if he heard him talk about disrespect and says the people are tired of being disrespected. Punk says he's looking for Anakin Skywalker in Cena. He tells him to stop what he's doing and says to let the people celebrate him and his sacrifices. He says to give them a happy ending.

Cena asks why would he waste his time? He says these people and this place doesn't matter. He says basketball and horse racing doesn't matter, his title only matters. Punk says it's time to get real. He says Cena can't beat him and never could. Punk insults him some. He says he sounds like Cena while Cena sounds like Punk. He says Cena is trying to follow in his foot steps.

Punk says he will him to Mars or hell to beat him and prove he is better than him. He says Cena is a GOAT and so is he. He says he's the goat he will sacrifice to the gods of wrestling like Terry Funk, Bret Hart, Harley Race and Eddie Guerrero. He says Cena is a joke for putting himself on Mt. Rushmore 4 times. Punk says he sees through him and always has.

R-Truth then nails Cena from behind and puts him in the STFU. Punk says the truth hurts. Security then breaks it up.

Byron Saxton interviews Alexa Bliss. Bliss says she won MITB and will remind everyone who she is and get one step closer to Queen of the Ring. Charlotte Flair says there's only room for one Queen in this position.

Nick Aldis asks what Ron Killings is doing. Ron says he wants Cena next week and Nick agrees. Ron says he's driving now.

Queen of the Ring First Round - Alba Fyre vs Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair vs Candice LaRae

The four pair off. CL stomps on Bliss and Alba foot chokes Flair. Flair chops down Alba. Bliss is sent into CL and the post. Flair chops Alba and CL. CL pounds on Flair. Alba chops Flair. Flair lariats CL. Bliss top rope crossbodies Flair. Flair lariats Alba.

We go to PiP break and return. Flair gets caught up top. Alexa powerbombs all 3 opponents down in a tower of doom spot for 2. Bliss dragon screws Alba then STO's Flair. CL hits a backbreaker + back senton combo. Alba gordbusters CL then Bliss headhunters Alba. Flair hits natural selection on Bliss.

Flair figure 8's Bliss. CL breaks it up with an asai moonsault. Alba superkicks CL. Alba gori bombs Flair for 2. Bliss superkicks Alba in the gut then ddt's her. Bliss hits a 180 splash off the top on Alba for 2.

Flair fackeicks Bliss off the apron. CL rolls up Flair for 2. Flair spears CL for 2. Alba superkicks Flair and Flair facekicks her. Flair figure 8's Alba. Bliss hits sister abigail on CL and wins while Flair has Alba in the hold.

Thoughts: The ending was neat with Bliss getting a pin while Flair had a hold on. It was a little rough early but got better as it went on. 

Bliss and Flair stare at each other after. 

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk talk in the back. Cody says they can't run from each other forever. Punk says we will see who chases who after Night of Champions. 

King of the Ring First Round - Cody Rhodes vs Andrade vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Damian Priest

SN = Shinsuke Nakamura, DP = Damian Priest

SN goes out and Cody topes him. Andrade dropkicks Cody off the apron. DP spinning forearms Andrade then Andrade flying forearms him. DP falcon arrows Andrade for 2.

Cody hits punches on DP then lariats him over the top. They fight outside. SN dives on DP off the apron. SN/DP/Cody trade outside and Andrade top rope moonsaults all 3 outside.

We go to PiP break and return. SN running knees Andrade off the apron. SN high kicks DP then sliding germans him. SN spinning heel kicks Cody. Cody figure fours him. Andrade top rope splashes Cody. DP double axe handles SN off the steps.

DP rope walks. Cody jumps up top, DP gets crotched and Cody falls gut first on the ropes. SN rolling armbars Andrade. We get some pin attempts. Cody gets the Slim Jim table and sets it up outside. Cody and DP meet on the apron and double try to double suplex SN. SN reverse slams Andrade then flying kicks off the apron through the table.

We go to PiP break and return. DP hits a lifting flatliner on SN. Andrade does a top rope moonsault into a standing moonsault on DP. Andrade facekicks SN. Cody lariats Andrade and SN. Cody powerslams DP then disaster kicks Andrade. SN upkicks Cody then running knees him in the back of the head for 2.

Andrade rolls up DP into the buckles. Andrade meteora's SN in the corner. Andrade spinning back elbows DP and hits the message for 2. Andrade and SN trade forearms. Cody hits a botched cody cutter on Andrade. Cody then walks up the buckles and cody cutters DP. Cdy hits cross rhodes on Andrade.

SN sleepers Cody from behind. Cody then hits cross rhodes on him and wins.

Thoughts: Cody won as expected here. The only question was how. It was a good one with lots of action and even a table bump.

Overall thoughts: It was pretty much all multi-man matches here, however most of them were good. I didn't like the Cena stuff that much here and I'll wait to see where the stuff with Truth goes. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as there was a lot of good wrestling on this one and the other stuff was fine enough. I wouldn't quite say the four ways were must see but the one with Jade was interesting, the opener was good and creative and the main was as good enough
