Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/06/nwa-powerrr-6242025.html

The wrestlers are at the Inspire Workshop talking about holding titles and the emotions behind it. Mims says he's afraid of nothing and is moved along. Tyler Franks says he's afraid of the person in the mirror sometimes and what that person is afraid of. Kenzie Paige says she's afraid of drowning...in success. Hunter says he's afraid of going bald. He says he has a weird shaped head.

Tiffany Nieves says when she digs deep, everything feels bueno. She says she's afraid of the entire locker room destroying themselves from insecurities as she's the best. Thom Lattimer says he's the king of the world and he couldn't feel any better. He says there's no fear here.

The Lost (Lev, Gaagz The Gymp and Alex Misery vs Size Matters (Sam Stackhouse and Eric Smallz) and Tyler Franks

The Lost try dropkicks and get nowhere. Their opponents send them out. Tyler shoulders over Alex then armdrags him. Tyler hits a nice dropkick. Eric comes in and takes down Lev then slaps him in the back of the head. Eric dropkicks him in the butt and bronco busters him.

Sam bodyblocks Gymo. Eric then does the worm, headspins and legdrops Gymp. Lev pounds on Eric. Alex chokes Eric in the corner. Gymp snapmares Eric and stump pullers him. Lev legdrops Eric then backbreakers him for 2.

Gymp pounds on Eric and bangs his head off the buckle. Gymp hits corner spears. Eric hits chops on Gymp then spears him. Sam and Alex get in. Sam hits lariats on all 3 opponents. Sam corner splashes all 3 opponents. Sam totally misses a spinning heel kick on Lev then hits one that really looked like it hurt.

Sam slams Alex. Sam signals that he's going up top and Tyler tags himself in. Alex cradles Tyler for 2. Alex corner euros Alex. Alex flips off the buckles over him. Tyler hits a spinning torture rack drop on Alex for 2. Alex hits an os cutter off the buckles on Tyler for 2.

Sam hits a double lariat on Gymp and Lev. Sam goes for a tope and is blocked. Tyler rolls up Alex for 2. Alex hits a dangerous looking tombstone on Tyler and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a random one but at least it was an entertaining match here. I think The Lost is a new group as I don't recall those three being paired up together.

We get another Dothan Today segment. Chelsea talks about traffic then Joe Cazana comes in. He apologizes to her for the last interview segment. She wants to focus on her segment and Joe is interrupting her. Joe says he was a bad person and apologizes. He says Billy Corgan yelled at him. Chelsea accepts his apology and tells him not to talk about peanuts again. Joe says he's apologizing to her and she's just belittling him.

Jay Bradley vs Slex

I don't know who Slex is but they say he was on an NWA tour years ago. Jay hits Slex from behind and hits forearms and chops. Jay misses a facekick and Slex chops him. Slex goes up and over then sick kicks him. Slex topes him.

Jay hits punches on Slex outside and misses a charge on him against the post. Jay shoulders him over. Jay drops Slex throat first on the rails outside then sends him into the apron side. Jay hits Slex with a beer can.

Jay elbow drops him then clubs his chest. They go back in. Slex hits shots then is hit with a big lariat. Jay then wins.

Thoughts:
It was a random one and Jay won as expected. I don't like Slex returning just to lose here as it gets him off to a bad start and makes him look unimportant. It was an average match.

We go back to the Inspire Workshop. Tiffany Nieves puts over the guy who is leading the seminar. She says she feels like a changed woman. The guy says it's overwhelming being around these superstars. Tiffany says she wants a 1 on 1 with him. The guy asks if she meditates. She says she will do anything. He says they can meditate over the phone or on zoom calls. He says his name is Vic. Tiff says she loves him and this will be bueno.

The Temple of Duum (The Beastman and Stone Rockwell) vs Brandon Baretta and Baron Von Storm

He's another random one. We haven't seen Stone for a while.

Stone offers a handshake and BB gives him one. BB waistlocks him and takes him down off of it. BB side headlocks him then rolls him with a waistlock.

Baron tags in and he forearms Stone. BB germans Stone. Baron calls for the claw and Stone backs off. Baron hits chops on Stone and hits short arm shoulderblocks. Baron double throat thrusts Stone.

Stone gutbusters BB. Beast low crossbodies BB, who is seated. We go to break and return. Beast headbutts BB in the chest then corner splashes him. Beast corner cannonballs BB.

Stone gets on Beast's back and they both drop backwards onto BB's back. BB is then pinned by Stone.

Thoughts: I didn't really get this one. BB and Baron are a new team so you would think they'd want to have them win here. Stone and Beastman don't appear regularly, so them winning doesn't really help them. It was an average match with the commentators having fun making jokes about Beast and Stone.

Baron shows up behind Stone then puts the claw on him. Beast tries to pull Stone away. BB shows Bar on the toy glove and Baron lets go of the hold.

We go back to the comic book store. JR Kratos is there and Tiffany Nieves comes in. She asks the cashier if he's "the guy". The cashier says he's a guy. Tiff asks if he likes wrestling. She asks what he can tell her about wrestling. He asks how her tag team aspirations are going. Tiff says she's a champ but the guy says she's not a tag champ. Tiff says she will be. The guy then hands her a note and Tiff asks what about Miss Starr? We don't know what the note says but Tiff likes it.

JR Kratos interrupts. He asks if the guy has ever been punched in the face or even been in a fight. The guy says no. JR says this isn't a video game. JR asks why Tiff is listening to this mark. Tiff then yells at the guy and both JR and Tiff leave saying this is a waste of time.

Thoughts
: I feel like it was some kind of shot at people who rip the NWA online.

Overall thoughts: Yeah, it was your usual rough NWA Powerrr. The matches were all random. The non-wrestling segments didn't make a lot of sense and I'm not sure what they were going for or what they accomplished. You could rack your brain for hours trying to figure out what's going on here and still not get it. All they need to do is just have some matches, put some basic logical stories behind them, and the show will be fine. They just can't though and it makes this such a hard watch. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 and I wouldn't recommend this one.
