Thoughts: It was boring with them spending a ton of time on the side headlock. The ankle lock was also out of nowhere and had no build to it.

The coaches judge the match. Booker asks why Troy is wearing football gear and he says he ordered stuff and didn't get it, so he had to wear this. Booker says Mickie has a hard choice to make and says they did a good job. Mickie says it was their best showing. She says it was fun to watch.

Troy bearhugs him. Luke hits some punches and a kick. Luke flying kicks him. Luke spinebusters him for 2. Troy has him like a tombstone and drops him on his back. Troy vader bombs him for the win.

Thoughts: It was fine. Troy was in full control here and Luke didn't get a ton in besides a comeback. There was nothing wrong with it and Troy did a decent job targeting the back. It really needed a big spot or two though.

Jasper calls his wife and says he's going to the semi-finals. He says if he makes it to the finals, he gets to MSG and competes for an NXT contract. Jasper says they will have fun but his wife says they have no money. Jasper says whoever he faces has to be prepared for more.

Overall thoughts: As usual there was the a lot of worked-worked stuff. We know everyone is signed already and it's funny to see some of the people who actually already made their in-ring TV debuts be kicked out for people who haven't and may never get on TV. The men's matches were a lot better on average than the women's matches in the last episode. Hill/Elijah was the best match on the show. Island/Yearwood was the worst match on the show. If you are watching the series, you have to see the playoff eps are people are being eliminated but quality wise, it wasn't anything that will knock your socks off. At least this one was mostly wrestling focused and that helped it out over some of the other eps.
