Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/06/wwe-evolve-642025.html
The girls in the 4-way make their pitch for why they will win tonight.
WWE Evolve Title Play-In - Jackson Drake vs Lince Dorado vs Jordan Oasis
This is Lince Dorado's return to WWE. They show us clips from this week's Reality of Wrestling GLORY show where JO qualified for this.
JD hits shots on both opponents. JO is thrown out. JD powerslams Lince then top rope double axe handles Lince for 2. JO hits forearms on JD. JO blocks a flying a headscissors and does a sunset flip on JD. JO tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Lince. JO clips JD then gutbusters him for 2.
Lince top rope diving headscissors JO. Lince chops both opponents. Lince does a handspring double cutter. Lince then does a backcracker + senton combo for 2. JD fireman's carry gutbusters Lince and facekicks him out. JD topes Lince and JO.
JO sits up top and is enzugiri'd. Lince jumps off JD's back and dropkicks JO up top. Lince top rope hurricanrana's JO. Brad Baylor hold's Lince's foot down on a pin attempt. Lince enzugiri's JD then Lince tope con hilos onto Swipe Right outside.
JO backbreakers JD then flips on him while he's on the 2nd rope for 2. JO misses a corner charge and takes a flying knee. JD then picks up the pin.
Thoughts: It had the usual limits 3-way's have. It turned out a little better than expected but it wasn't anything great. Lince leaving to fight Swipe Right was dumb but excuses his loss.
Igwe and Dupont talk about Cappucino and Cartwheel tonight. Igwe says their team is more explosive and powerful. Dupont says they about to run into a brick wall. Igwe says their pressure will knock them out.
We get a video on It's Gal hanging out by the pool. He says he can't enjoy his fun in the sun due to Troy Yearwood. He says his physique is better than his. He says it's Troy's first and final warning to stay out of his way.
Jackson Drake cuts off the announcers and talks. He says his group has proven they are the hottest thing in Evolve and are just getting started. He says he will provied more drip when he wins the Evolve Title.
Edris Enofe comes out. He disagrees with Drake saying he's the hottest thing on Evolve. Enofe say's he looking forward to next week and says Drake is going home empty-handed. He says the Evolve Title will go around his waist. Sean Legacy comes out.
Sean said Vanity Project tried to get him out of the title match by using Lexis King, but he's still standing. Sean says he's been at this 8 years. He says he starts making his legacy next week and says he will celebrate with the title above his head next week. He says he will show the world why Legacy will always be super. Drake says he's super tired of listening to them. He says there's nobody who is qualified like him in the 4-way. He then runs into Keanu Carver. Drake gets stuck between his 3 opponents and they drop him with punches.
Chuey Martinez interviews Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones. Jones says Dupont and Igwe are big and bad but can't hit what they can't catch. Jack says they will use their speed against their power.
Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones vs Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont
Jack and Igwe go at it. Jack is pushed over and kips up. Jack cartwheels out of a lock-up and a charge. Jack hits shoulders to Igwe's shoulder then is forearmed over. TD side slams Jack.
TD misses a corner splash. Jones basement dropkicks TD. TD is double lariated over the top. Wes Lee comes out to talk to Dupont and Igwe. Dupont lariats Jones from behind and hits mounted forearms. Igwe slams Jones.
Igwe knees Jones in the gut then hits a corner spear. TD hits a corner splash. Igwe spears the post when Jones moves and he's rolled up for 2. Jack is tagged in. He cartwheels then lariats Igwe. He flying headscissors Igwe then handspring back elbows him. Jack does a kick on TD + a tornado ddt. Jack flying space tiger drops TD outside. Jack cartwheel splashes off the top onto Igwe for 2.
TD takes a double dropkick into the ropes. TD euros Jones over outside. Jack takes a backdrop + press and is pinned.
Thoughts: I liked it. The big guys did power stuff and the smaller guys did faster paced offense and various flips. There was nothing wrong with this and everyone did what they were supposed to do.
Stevie Turner talks to Jin Tala, who is WWE LFG's Leigh Laurel. She says Jin is signed and will be a great addition. Jin agrees and says she will shake things up. Carlee Bright comes in. Stevie says Bright can't come out for the 4-way tonight. She then introduces her to Jin and says they will fight next week. Bright says may the best woman win and they shake hands.
Natalya arrives in the back. She says she's here to watch the 4-way and present the winner with the title tonight. She says she's excited to be here.
The High Ryze of Lee, Dupont and Igwe talk in the back. Lee is happy about the win. Igwe says power beats speed every time. Dupont says Jones and Jack didn't stand a chance. Wes says his crew have been causing all the ruckus here in Evolve. Wes says Jack and Jones have potential but it doesn't measure up to them. Wes says he'll be here next week and they can come up to him if they have a problem.
WWE Evolve Women's Title - Kendal Grey vs Wendy Choo vs Kali Armstrong vs Kylie Rae
I'm picking Kali to win this. This has elimination rules.
We get the big match intros for this one. The four pair off and fight. Kali pushes Grey over and lariats her. Kali is pulled out then Grey tope crossbodies all opponents outside. Grey basement knees Rae for 2.
Grey 2nd rope crossbodies Rae. Kali hits a double clothesline and backdrops Rae. Grey crossbodies Choo off a backroll. Everyone goes for pins. Choo does a double cradle then takes shots from all 3 girls.
Choo hits a double assisted sliced bread #2. Choo cartwheel forearms Grey in the corner then gets shots in on the other opponents. Choo top rope crossbodies Rae then takes a running back elbow from Gray. Kali running shoulders Choo. Rae superkicks Choo and pins her. That's Choo's first loss in Evolve.
We go to break and return. Kali stomps on Grey in the corner. Rae corner splashes Kali then cannonballs her then Grey. Kali hits a duble suplex on her opponents. Kali hits corner spears then Grey blocks her. Grey top rope moonsaults both opponents for 2.
Grey hits shots on both opponents then fireman's carries both over. Grey 2nd rope back elbows Rae then overhead belly to belly suplexes Kali. Grey rolling armbars Kali. Rae then crucifixes Grey off of that and pins her.
Rae hits mounted shots on Kali then stomps on her. Kali boots Rae. Rae spin kicks her in the gut. Rae crucifix bombs Kali. Rae goes up top, Kali walks up the buckles and belly to belly suplexes her. Kali goes for a flying shoulder and is crossfaced by Rae.
Rae rolls her up off a powerslam attempt. Kali powerslams her. Kali runs the ropes and shoulders over Rae for the win.
Thoughts: Kali won as expected here and she pretty much had to win. It wasn't as good as the four-way a few episodes ago but it was fine. Grey busted out a moonsault which I hadn't seen before. I was surprised Choo got tossed so early here from this.
Natalaya tries to give Kali the belt after and Kali takes it from her. Kali then poses.
Overall thoughts: It was a good show overall. The 3-way was okay just nothing great. I liked the men's tag match as the four worked well together. The main was okay but not as good as the 4-way from a few weeks ago. The show had no new debuts. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall but don't think you really need to see anything from it.
