Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/05/wow-women-of-wrestling-532025-season-5.html
Miami's Sweet Heat are in the dressing room. Miami's Sweet Heat says they will become tag champs tonight and says who do Pink and Holly think they are? Laurie says they are singles wrestlers but MSH has been a team.
The Classmaster and Samantha Smart come out. Smart says it's not easy being IQ superior in a world of IQ inferiors. She says she won't stoop to the level of the students and will continue to raise the bar. She says she will showcase The Classmaster in WOW's first ever "Superior Match". She says The Classmaster is better than you and says she will show that Class that can beat 3 competitors at the same time.
David McLane asks what that means. Smart says it's not a title match, just a showcase of superiority.
Superior Match - The Classmaster vs Spring Break 24/7 (Brittany Bay, Crystal Waters and Sandy Shore
This is just a handicap match under a different name. Class pushes the three on lock-up attempts. The three then pound on Class together but she shrugs them off. Class hits corner splashes on all 3. One member is sat in the corner and the other is in tree of woe. Class hip attacks them and sends Bay into them.
Class catches a crossbody. She rams Bay's feet into her partners then throws Bay at them. Sandy hits a kick on Class. Class catches her crucifix and boots her partners. Class hits wasteland on Sandy then pins 24/7 all at the same time to win.
Thoughts: I'm never a big fan of handicap matches especially when the losers aren't jobbers. It just makes 24/7 look weak and that's a problem since they are a regular team here.
Smart gets on the mic after. She says someone should call the dictionary editors as she just changed the definition of superior. She says your place is very very far beneath them.
The Alliance (Gigi Gianni and BK Rhythm) vs Keta Rush and Sugar
The called Gigi and BK "The Alliance" and "The Brat Pack" here. I guess both are technically true but it's confusing. Gigi and BK stopped using that name when they formed The Alliance. Dave says Spice is not here as she graduated from school. Adriana Gambino is in commentary. BK gets on the mic before the match and her and Gigi say Sugar is looking bland without Spice.
Gigi and Keta go at it. Keta hammerlocks her. Gigi side headlocks her. Keta throws her by the arm then suplexes her for 2. Gigi take a double back elbow for 1. Sugar is rammed into the buckles and Gigi misses a splash. Sugar armdrags BK off the casadora then Sugar flying headscissors BK. Sugar flying snapmares BK then running boots her. Sugar cartwheel splashes BK but BK gets her knees up. BK gutbusters Sugar.
Gigi lariats Sugar for 2. Reina poses with Gigi and BK as they choke Sugar on the ropes. Sugar cradles Gigi then Gigi boots her in the gut. Sugar arm throws her. Keta and BK get in. Keta dropkicks her. Keta flying headscissors BK then slingblades her for 2. BK bangs Sugar's head off the buckles. Sugar takes a neckbreaker + emerald flowsion combo and is pinned.
Thoughts: It was fine. The heels won as expected in this one. Keta and Sugar aren't a bad team and I would have liked to have seen them get a little more in here.
The Alliance comes in after. Gambino says they got another win. She says everyone is pulling their weight. Gambino says they could use another challenge. She says they aren't another alliance, they are The Alliance.
Sylvia Sanchez vs Kara Kai
Syl waistlock takedowns her and front facelocks her. Kai flying headscissors her. They botch a move then Syl chinlcoks her. Kai is in tree of woe and Syl baseball slides her. Syl does a chin and armlock on her. Syl stomps and elbow drops her for 2. Syl chops Kai. Kai comes off the buckles and Syl tries to powerslam counter her off the crossbody but she drops her. Syl ties Kai's legs up then does a head and double arm hold.
Kai hits kicks to the leg then scorpion kicks her. Kai back elbows her then hits kicks. Kai high kicks her then northern lights suplexes her for 2. Syl facekicks her for 2. Kai escapes a TKO and hits a psycho trap (Tatum Paxley's finisher) for the win.
Thoughts: It wasn't that good here. They had a lot of sloppy moments here and it really should have been better than it was.
Sibley Scoles interviews Xena Phoenix, which is basically becoming a weekly thing at this point. Xena says she's not intimidated or scared by Coach Campanelli. She says she's prepping for next week. Top Tier walks in. Coach says Xena should say what she has to say to her face instead of being her back. Xena says let's settle it in the ring. Coach agrees and tells her to come prepared. Coach then tells her she's welcome. Xena says she's not scared or intimidated and says they will settle this in the ring.
We go to break and return. Sibley shows us a package from the tag title match that Pink and Holly won.
Miami's Sweet Heat does a promo. Linds says insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Laurie says they must be on a different planet thinking they can beat the 4x WOW tag champs.
Tormenta and Princess Aussie do a promo. Aussie says Sweet Heat aren't fighting any tag team, they are fighting 2 international powerhouses. Tormenta says they have formed a great team and will take them down.
Next week's show has Santana Garrett vs Paola Mayfield vs Genesis.
#1 Contender's Match - Miami's Sweet Heat (Lindsay and Laurie Carlson) vs Tormenta and Princess Aussie
Tor and Aussie hit superkicks to start then do mounted punches. MSH goes out to recover. Linds misses a dropkick then Laur dropkicks Aussie. Tor misses a dropkick and Laur clubs on Tor. Laur hits forearms. Aussie buckshots over Laur and armdrags her.
Aussie rolls up Linds for 2 then cradles her. Aussie sunset flips her then spin kicks her. Linds is sent into the buckles then Aussie corner splashes her. Aussie tries to go up and over but is hit from behind. Linds sends Aussie into the 2nd buckle headfirst.
Linds rams Aussie in the buckles back-first then slams her like an oklahoma stampede. Laur knee drops Aussie. Linds hits boots in the corner on Aussie and footchokes her. Aussie takes shots from both of MSH. Aussie's throat is pulled down over the top then Linds pulls Aussie's arm down over the middle rope.
Aussie is double teamed. Linds leg lariats her for 2. Aussie rolls her up for 2. Aussie superkicks Linds. Tor gets in with Laur and hits forearms. Tor corner meteora's her. Tor flips Laur over while holding her leg for 2. Holly Swag and Penelope Pink walk out. Aussie gets distracted. MSH club on Aussie.
Laurie goes up top. Holly gives Laurie the sock of rocks. Laur nails Linds on accident with it. Aussie then cutters Laur and pins her.
Thoughts: This was disappointing. It was sloppy and this should have been a lot better than it was. I'm not sure what happened here. The finish was weird with Holly and Pink coming out to help MSH for some reason and not trying to screw them even though MSH was going to lose.
Overall thoughts: It was a rough night for WOW with most of the matches being sloppy and the vets of this promotion just not delivering when they should have. I'm not sure what happened to cause all of that. I didn't like Classmaster squashing all of Spring Break 24/7 together at once either. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as I didn't enjoy this one.
