We are in New Orleans, LA.

Tony Schiavone brings out Master P for some reason. He brings out Samoa Joe, Shibata and Hobbs. They repeat "make em say uhh" a bunch of times. Joe thanks Master P for what heh as done for the city. Joe says the best city to celebrate a title win in is New Orleans.

The Death Riders come out and nail The Ops and Hobbs. Hobbs is sent into the steps. Mox chokes Joe in the corner. Master P stares down Mox. Joe then chokes Mox from behind and P gets some shots in on Mox. P then laughs as Mox gets choked out. P says there's bout to be a problem and tells Joe to put Mox to sleep. The Young Bucks and Okada then chair Joe.

Mox goes up to The Bucks and Shafir pulls Mox out. Swerve Strickland comes out. Joe goes after The Bucks. Kenny Omega then comes out with a chair and The Bucks/Okada head into the crowd. Joe says Mox wanted him and now he has him. Joe says he will choke out Mox and take the title back.

The Patriarchy are interviewed by Renee. Renee congratulates Nick. Christian says he deserves the congratulations and says Nick wouldn't be champ without him. He says he forced Nick to step out of his shell and be what he should be. Christian says him and Mother Wayne celebrated Nick's victory extensively. He says see what happens when you listen? Good things happen. Nick says see what happens when you stick with the plan? You actually win championships. Nick goes to take the title, Christian blocks it but then puts it on him. Christian says he loves his family. 

Mark Briscoe vs Ricochet

Mark backs up Rick in the corner. Ric is backed up in the corner. Mark hits punches. Mark hits facekicks and Ric goes out. Mark dropkicks him through the ropes. Mark chops him outside. Ric pump kicks him on the apron. Mark dropkicks him off the apron then elbow drops him on the floor off the apron.

Ric backrolls him for 2. Mark charges at him. Ric puts the ref in the way. Mark is pushed into the buckles. Ric dropkicks him through the ropes. We go to PiP break and return. Ric cutters Mark for 2. Ric comes off the buckles and is atomic dropped. Mark hits forearms and chops. Mark flying forearms him. Mark hits a corner lariat.

Mark hits a fisherman buster for 2. Ric is rolled up for 2. Ric backslides Mark for 2. Ric northern lights suplexes him then does a suplex for 2. Mark slaps him. Ric springboards and is caught with an exploder for 2. Mark rolling death valley drivers him then sliding lariats him.

Ric pulls Mark's throat down over the top. Ric springboard 450's him for 2. Mark knocks Ric off the top then tope con hilos him through the ropes. Mark running lariats him for 2. Ric tries to pin Mark with his feet on the ropes. Mark then rolls him up for a pin and wins.

Thoughts: Mark winning was a surprise. He hasn't won a bigger singles match in a while. It was an indy style match with them not really selling and nothing meaning much.

Ric chairs Mark after. Ric grabs scissors. Kevin Knight comes down and hits Ric. He then blocks him from grabbing the scissors. Ric then runs.

We see The Rock N' Roll Express in the crowd.

Tony Schiavone brings out FTR in the ring. Stokeley Hathaway then comes out and does a big intro for FTR for some reason. FTR comes out.

Stoke says he's here to address the elephant in the room. He says FTR was suspended and fined for hitting Tony while Page committed arson, while Ric shanks people with scissors and while Mox has kidnapped, extorted and committed acts of terrorism without being unpunished. Stoke says it's unjust. Stoke says he will get it taken off their permanent record. Stoke then says he's the new agent for FTR.

Stoke then tells Tony Schiavone to do his job. Cash says Danny Garcia made his own decision last week. He said 2.0 said they wanted to fight but says they weren't ready to fight. They said they stopped because Garcia is their friend. Cash says DG came up to them when no one else would help. Cash says it's FTR first from now on.

Cash tells the Rock and Roll Express to come in. Dax puts them over. He asks them what their greatest match was, but then takes the mic and says their Philadelphia match with The Midnight Express was their best. Dax says The Midnight Express was better. Dax asks how old they are then takes the mic away. Dax says if he judged by looks, he'd say they are 108-109 years old. He tries to take the mic again after asking a question. Morton says grabs the mic and says Dax won't embarrass them. Stoke says they have a new shirt they will like. He throws it at them. Gibson gets hit then Morton is hit with a spike piledriver. The Paragon then comes out and the heels run.

Thoughts: The RnR's were dumb for getting in the ring after all of the bad stuff that has happened to them on this show, which they aren't even on every week. I don't see what Stoke can really do for FTR.

The Young Bucks vs Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight

Mike trips a Buck. They each duck kicks and get their legs caught up when doing superkicks at the same time. Nick (dark tights) breaks it up. The Bucks hit stereo back elbows. KK is laughed into a crossbody Matt (light tights). KK and Mike do stereo plancha's outside.

KK is back body dropped over the top. Mike takes a slingshot facebuster. Nick then moonsaults off the apron onto KK off of it. We go to PiP break and return. Mike cradles Nick for 2. Mike hits kicks on Nick. KK knocks over Matt a few times. KK lariats Matt. KK corner lariats Matt then slams him. KK standing splashes Matt.

Matt hits a locomotion northern lights suplexes then suplexes both opponents at the same time. Nick springboard double stomps and rolls off of it into a backcracker on Mike. KK jawbreakers Matt. Matt ddt's Mike.

All 4 men hit superkicks. Mike and Nick high kick each other at the same then. Matt and KK lariat each other at the same time then Mike and Nick spin kick each other at the same time. Nick hits a high kick on KK. KK hits a nice dropkick. Nick and KK chickenfight on people's shoulders. Matt is pushed into Nick's crotch. KK hurricanrana's Nick off the top from the matt. Nick takes a dropkick + powerbomb combo for 2.  Mike dropkicks Matt. Nick takes a legsweep + flying shoulder. KK hits a springboard splash while Mike asai moonsaults.

Mike standing moonsault double knees Nick and KK hits a top rope splash on Nick. Nick is put on the rail. KK takes a doomsday device on the floor. Mike traingle moonsaukts onto The Bucks but is caught. Nick runs the rail and Mike takes a meltzer driver on the floor. KK avoids an EVP trigger then hits a double pele kick. KK hits a double jumping ddt. Ricochet comes out and trips KK on the apron. KK is cuaght off a springboard then takes an EVP trigger and is pinned.

Thoughts: I hated it as expected. It was as indy as you would think it would be with doomsday devices on the floor not even being enough to put down the mighty Kevin Knight. It was all cool spots and zero selling or story. I knew The Bucks weren't losing here. Why didn't Kenny come out to go after The Bucks? He came out earlier to go after them.

Toni Storm and Luther are interviewed. She wishes good luck to the women tonight in the Owen Hart Cup. Renee says Toni will be on the red carpet this weekend. She says she will have a championship eliminator on Collision. Queen Aminata comes in and wants the match. She says let's do this and Toni says let's make cinema.

The Hurt Syndicate come out to talk. MVP says they hurt people. MVP says they are so good at it that all the people they beat are at home recovering from injuries. MVP says they hurt The Gates of Agony as they asked. He says they are hungry young lions but now is not their time.

We hear an engine rumbling. We see someone arriving in a car in the back and it's MJF. MJF hits a staff member in the crotch. MJF comes out. MJF says we all know The Hurt's had a good time last week. He says if they want to have a good time for the rest of their lives, he just needs 3 thumbs up. MVP and Shelton put their thumbs up. Shelton gets on the mic. He says he didn't give him a thumbs up because of a bunch of broads and a watch. He says it was because of MVP and tells him not to forget it.

MJF says he loves Montel and we all love him. MJF says we all love our good friend Bob. We then get a "Bob" chant. MJF makes a sales pitch to Bob. He says they will get all the money, power, respect and the gold. MJF says he brings some things to the table that Bob doesn't. He says he knows the place better than anyone, can cut corners better than anyone, can win by any means necessary better than anyone. He says they run wrestling if MJF is in The Syndicate. 

MJF says they got off on the wrong foot and it's not his fault. He says he's been a bit prickly. MJF says he sorry but struggles to say it. MJF says the car he rode in on is Bob's if he gives him a thumbs up. Bob asks to see the keys. MJF says they are in the back and says let's take a walk. The Hurt's then follow MJF.

We go to the back. MJF shows Bob his car. Bob gives MJF a thumbs down then drives off with the car. MVP tells MJF to give the people what they want.

Thoughts: I like the storyline, I just don't see how it ends with MJF being in this group.

Adam Page is interviewed. MJF comes in. MJF says Page's new haircut makes it look he met his wife at a family reunion. Page says he should get in his car, but...MJF says Page will win the Owen Hart Cup but he will get the title through the backdoor. Page says MJF knows he can't win matches or hang with him in The Owen. MJF says they are 1-1. He says Page is a great wrestler, but if he gets to the finals of The Owen, he will choke.

Will Ospreay and Brody King vs The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita)

Josh hits Will from behind before it starts. Will takes a double back elbow then a double backdrop.Will takes a double elbow drop. Josh is atomic dropped then Will misses a standing moonsault. Josh slams him then knee drops him.

Will flying headscissors Josh. Josh takes a double shoulderblock. KT is slammed on Josh. Will is dropped on Josh. Brody sentons both opponents. Brody chops up Josh and foot chokes him. Will is put on the apron and Josh crossbodies him through the ropes.

We go to PiP break and return. Will boots KT from the corner. Will hits a handspring double backflip kick. Brody gets in and lariats Josh. He corner splashes KT then back body drops Josh.  Brody lariats KT. Brody topes both opponents.

Josh and KT are put on a chair against the rail then Brody crossbodies both. Brody corner lariats KT. KT takes a double stomp then an AA onto Will's knees. KT forearms Will. Will step up enzugiri's him. Will handsprings into a KT blue thunder for 2.

KT hits facekicks on Brody. Brody forearms Josh then lariats him for 2. Brody cannonballs Josh. Lance Archer gets in the ring. Brody knocks him off the apron. KT forearms Brody. Will topes Lance. Will springboards into a Josh forearm. Josh powerbombs Will. KT germans Brody then Josh germans Brody.

Brody takes a double spinning forearm twice for 2. KT pumping knees Brody. Brody takes a C4 spike and is pinned.

Thoughts: I don't like Brody losing but he always does and I'm not surprised. They didn't overdo it too much here so I was okay with it. This was all action here. I don't think Brody should be taking C4 spike's at his size.

Brody is beaten up after. Lance chokeslams Will. 

Kyle Fletcher comes out. Adam Page then comes out. Page gets jumped by Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero as he enters. Page is thrown in and hits shots on Kyle. Page then gets group beaten.  Page is brainbustered by Kyle.

Women's Owen Hart Tournament Semifinals - Jamie Hayter vs Kris Statlander

Kris dragons her over. Jamie shoulders her over. Kris shoulders her over. They shoulder each other over together and both kip up together. Jamie germans her. Jamie hits a corner meteora then 2nd rope dropkicks her.

Kris is cuahgt on the 2nd rope and then rolls Jamie into the buckles. Kris corner euros her. Kris trips her on the apron. Kris misses a moonsault off the apron and lands on the floor. Jamie running boots her.

We go to PiP break and return. They trade forearms. Kris pele kicks her. Jamie boots her then takes a german for 2. Kris does a grounded dragon sleeper.

Jamie headscissors her on the mat. Kris drops Jamie face first from the electric chair. Kris meteora's her from behind for 2. Jamie rolls her up for 2. Kris tries a pin. Jamie superkicks her. Kris high kicks her. Jamie step up enzugiri's her. Kris powerbombs her.

Jamie uranage backbreakers her. Kris blue thunders her. Kris top rope 450's Jamie for 2. Kris comes off the 2nd rope and is lariated. Jamie hits a nice lariat and wins.

Thoughts: It was alright but nothing too crazy. Jamie won as expected here. I liked Jamie's lariats. I was surprised Kris did the moonsault off the apron to the floor spot again.

Mecedes Mone comes out as she will face Jamie one month from now in the Owen Hart Tournament Final.  Jamie has words for her from the ring.

Overall thoughts: It was a heavy wrestling show as it often is. The opening segment was a bit random with Master P being in there and Kenny Omega going after The Bucks after he said he forgave them. I didn't like Mark/Ricochet or The Bucks' match as they all did too much in their matches. FTR's heel run isnt anything too special yet and I don't really think it will work. The Rock N Roll Express appeared, but just to get beaten up like usual. I liked the MJF segment. The semi-main tag and the main event were fine. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall as I really only liked about half this one. I don't think there was anything must see here.
