Carlee Bright vs Lainey Reid

They lock up and trade wristlocks. LR shoulders her over. CB trips her and shoulders her over. CB armdrags her and we get a Lainey chant. LR rolls and kips up but CB yanks on the arm. LR yanks on the arm. CB hits a dropkick then monkey flips her.

CB goes for an up and over, gets caught and is dropped face first on the buckles. LR headhunters her then headbutts her over. LR hits a big euro then abuses her on the ropes.

CB bangs LR's head off the buckles and rolls her up for 2. LR drops her body first then gets a 2 count on her. LR chinlocks. CB rolls her off. CB hits forearms and lariats her over. CB dropkicks her. CB 2nd rope diving headscissors her then standing moonsaults her for 2.

CB ducks a pump kick and hits a codebreaker. LR grabs her by the hair and knees her in the face. LR puts her in a dragon sleeper and does a forward rolling to driver to win.

Thoughts: CB looked really good here. She's a lot more confident and is getting how to be a face better. LR was fine here. It wasn't great but it was a solid outing for the experience level of these two girls without any botches. It probably could have been on NXT TV without anyone complaining. 

Lainey Reid is interviewed in the back. She says that's 2 wins back to back. She asks if she's worried about Layla Diggs. Lainey asks where she is and says she's not worried. She says she would have done something already if she was going to and says maybe she can't handle this.

Oro Mensah vs Niko Vance

Niko has shorts now that look better than the longer pants he was wearing. Niko takes shots in the corner and hits a knee to the head. Niko knees him in the gut then shoulders him over. Niko blocks an armdrag then takes a flying headscissors. Oro koppo kicks him off the apron for 1.

Oro takes a shoulder and is knocked off the apron. Oro's head is banged off the apron. Niko elbow drops the leg and slams Oro. Oro is thrown hard into the corner.

Niko boots the leg then trips Oro. Oro's leg is banged off the apron edge. Oro hits some shots and rolls him up for 2. Oro misses an asai moonsault and takes a knee break and backdrop for 2. Niko leglocks him while putting his foot on Oro's face. Oro escapes a powerbomb and hits chops.

Niko headbutts him in the chest. Oro spin kicks him in the face and asai moonsaults him. Oro spinning forearms him in the back of the head. Niko's head is banged off the buckles. Oro springboard rider kicks him for 2. Oro charges at Niko and gets hiptossed into the buckles. Niko powerbombs him for 2.

They fight on the buckles. Niko is stuck up top and Oro backflip kicks him off the ropes. Oro corner koppo kicks him and picks up the win.

Thoughts: Niko was a little too excited here at times but the match made sense and was acceptable. Niko worked the leg here. Oro tried to sell the leg while doing some flying before picking up the win. Niko didn't do as much power stuff here as he had done in other matches.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 match here on this one. Both were fine but neither were must see. The rookies had okay showings here and Carlee Bright is really improving. I would give it a 5 out of 10.
