WOW Women of Wrestling 11/23/2024 Season 5, Episode 11

The Classmaster and Samantha Smart come out. Sam says everyone could use a math lesson and says, "stupid + stupid = really stupid, so everyone should shut up". Sam says The Beast took their title and says she can call herself "the beltless" tonight.

The Alliance (Reina del Rey, Gigi Gianni and BK Rhythm) vs Keta Rush and The Mighty Mights (Sugar and Spice)

Adrianna Gambino is on commentary for this one. BK does a pre-match rap saying Reina could destroy all 3 of them. She asks Keta why she is teaming with Mustard and Ketchup (The Mights wear red and yellow).

Keta waistlocks Gigi then boots her. Keta hits kicks and slingblades her for 2. Sugar is tagged in and Gigi piefaces her. Gigi pushes her. Sugar traps her arms and rolls her over. Sugar rolls up the ropes and armdrags her down. Gigi avoids an armdrag. BK and Spice get in. BK takes a double Japanese armdrag then an armdrag from Spice.

Spice knees BK in the face then knocks her over for 2. BK takes a double trip then cartwheel splashes from The Mights. Reina is tagged in. She runs through The Mights. Reina hits a double suplex on The Mights. Reina clubs on Sugar and bangs her head off the buckles.

Gigi hits shots on Sugarthen northern lights suplexes her. Gigi back rolls and boots her down for 2. Sugar is tripped into BK's knee. Sugar hits gut shots on BK then takes a gutbuster. Spice is in the backslide and does a headscissors + backslide takeover off of it.

Keta comes in and dropkicks Reina. Spice is tagged in and Spice and Keta hit a double dropkick. Reina then takes a triple dropkick from the faces. Spice tries to walk up the ropes but is pulled down from the heels. Spice is held up in the T-gimmick and Reina throws Spice over (The Righteous and Lance Archer's old move). Reina picks up the pin.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here. BK's section was a bit rough. The backslide takeover + headscissors combo from Spice was a new move I hadn't seen before. The Alliance won as expected here. 

Gambino gets on the mic after. She said she made the perfect alliance and everyone brings something to the table. Gigi says Reina is the muscle, BK is the flow, she's the beauty and Gambino takes the mic and she forgot the most important part. She then calls herself the brains and says they are The Alliance. Gigi mouths "whatever" and doesn't seem to buy it. 

Chantilly Chella, Holidead and Kalaki the Island Girl vs Genesis, Fury and Sylvia Sanchez

The faces attack before the bell. Gen isn't happy to be here. Holi slams Syl then Kal is double flapjacked onto Fury for 2. Kal kicks Syl in the corner then slingshot usnset flips her for 2. Kal headbutts Syl. Holi and Fury get in. Holi throws her into the corner. She hits lariats and forearms.

Fury is rammed into the buckles then drops her throat first on the ropes. Hoil running boots her and legdrops her for 2. Gen pulls Holi's arm down over the top rope. Holi is whipped into Gen's boot in the corner. Syl boots Holi in the corner and hits forearms.

Fury tags Gen in by tagging her face. Holi is tripped and Gen does a walk up legdrop on the back of Holi's neck. Gen stomps on Holi and legdrops the arm. Syl codebreakers Holi's arm. Holi atomic drops Syl. Syl hits shots on Holi's arm. Gen apparently tells David she has had enough and she walks to the back. Holi's arm is rammed into the buckles.

Syl's head is rammed into the top buckle. Holi spinebusters Syl. Chella is tagged in. She hits kicks on Fury and legsweeps her. Chella meteora's Fury then running kneees her in the corner. Chella 2nd rope crossbodies Fury for 2.

Syl drags Fury over to the corner for a tag. Kal does a weird gutwrench powerslam. Syl cradles Kal, Holi rolls Kal over on top of Syl and Kal picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. I had no issues with this. It was fast paced and pushed then Genesis does want to be in tag matches story.

Jessie Jones and Big Rig Betty talk.  Betty says Holly thinks she smart beating up on her mama to join The Fab Four but says not all that glitter is gold. Jones says Lana needs to give them a shot at the tag titles. She says they will go back to Tennessee and not return if they lose.

Animal Instinct (Katarina Jinx and Goldie Collins) vs The Fierce Sisters (Roxxy and Foxxy Fierce)

Goldie avoids Rox. Goldie knees her in the gut and misses a corner charge. Rox backdrops Goldie for 2. Animal Instinct gets beaten up in the corners and takes backsplashes and regular splashes. Goldie goes out to recoup. Kat hits a kick on Rox then Goldie stomps on Rox. 

Goldie suplexes her for 2. Kat boots Rox in the corner. Kat bangs Rox's head off the buckles then rakes her back. Rox's neck is pulled down on the ropes. Kat pulls backs on Rox's legs and bridges. Fox breaks it up.

Rox front kicks her and tags out. Rox dropkicks Kat and back splashes her. Rox hits a hip attack for 2. All four girls get in. The heels are rolled up at the same time and both are pinned. The Fierce Sisters win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one and wasn't that much. Rox got beat up on for a bit, tagged out and The Sisters picked up the win.

David McLane interviews The Fierce Sisters. Fox says it feels amazing to get redemption. Fox says cheating gets you nowhere. Rox says it feels sweet and fierce to win.

The Fab Four and Holly Swag talk. Lindsay says they are too busy making money, money, money and says it'll be a walk in the park to beat Jones and Betty. Laurie says Jones and Betty will go back where they belong.

WOW Title - The Beast (c) vs The Classmaster

The Beast doesn't come out when her music hits. McLane says apparently she's not here and we can't have the match. Dave says they have to get us a main event match. We then go to break.

Next week's show has The Dojo Defenders and Valentina Diamante vs Top Tier. That stems from a confrontation they had last week.

Dave gets on the mic and says there's no one to wrestle Classmaster. Santana Garrett then comes out. She says Smart put her nose in her business a few weeks ago and interfered. She says Beast isn't here so she'd be happy to fight in her place.

Santana Garrett vs The Classmaster

SG = Santana Garrett

These two wrestled on 11/2. SG rolls out of a lock-up. SG wristlocks her and Class reverses it. SG rolls out and side headlocks her. SG is thrown down Class gets on top of her on the mat. SG full-nelsons her on the mat.

SG hits back elbows. A ref comes down and hands Dave a USB drive that is supposedly from The Beast. Dave says to go to the truck and air it. Class has SG in camel clutch variation then butt drops her back.

Class cravates her and snapmares her. Class hits kicks to the back then legdrops her inner thighs. Class puts her in a scholar collar. Class racks SG and clubs on her. Class throws her face first into the buckles.
SG forearms her from the apron then facekicks her. SG forearms her then does a cartwheel back elbow in the corner. SG russian legsweeps her for 2. Smart gets on the apron and the ref takes her boot. Class hits SG from behind and Smart hits Class with the ruler on accident. SG rolls up Class for 2.

SG is pulled into the buckles and Class pins SG with her feet on the ropes.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good and the finish was weak here with Smart being late on the ruler shot. I didn't see the point of that spot since Class was going to win anyway. You might as well have Smart hit SG with the ruler and then she would have saved some face here. SG has been losing too much lately.

We go to The Beast's video. She is at her house. she says she gives her everything to be the best at everything she does. She said she made sure that everyone knew it didn't matter what you looked like or been through - you can make it through the top if you work hard. She says she refuses to let the fans and her kids watch her do the right thing over and over again just so someone can sneak attack her.

She says wrestling is her passion but her family is her life. She says she will do anything to protect her family. She says she's still the biggest and the baddest but says this is the last we will see of The Beast at WOW. She says she quits.

Dave and Nigel discuss this. Dave says he can't believe it.

Thoughts: This was an unusual angle. It's not really in Beast's character or real face-like to quit. I wonder if she's one of the girls who ended up leaving, if she's injured or if this is just part of an angle. Something does seem up as The Beast has not been on TV yet this season and you would not run an angle with a face leaving like this usually.

Overall thoughts: The first two matches were okay and the other two weren't anything special. I didn't like Santana Garrett taking another loss as she's been losing too much lately. I'm not sure what is going on with The Beast and it's hard to comment on it because of it. I wonder what happens to the WOW Title now. It seems like The Classmaster should have been given it since Beast didn't show up and since she was already the #1 contender. Class winning against Santana would given more reason for that as well, but I'm sure there will be a match for it. We got some things built for the future here with the WOW Title being up for grabs and a tag title match with stipulations featuring Jones/Betty vs MSH. No updates on Chainsaw and Pep though this week. It wasn't my favorite episode ever but I would give this a 5 out of 10 overall. You don't really need to see this though.
