Pro Wrestling NOAH 11/11/2024 Monday Magic Autumn Vol. 3

NOZAWA comes out to talk before the show.

Masato Tanaka & Takuya Sugawara vs. Shuji Ishikawa & Shuji Kondo

SI = Shuji Ishikawa

SI and Tanaka go at it. They trade chest chops. Tanaka side headlock takeovers him. SI headscissors him and they roll on the ropes. Takuya and Kondo go at it. Tkaura wristlocks him. Kondo rolls out of it and trips him. Kondo works Takuya's leg. Kondo wristlocks him then armdrag rolls him into a single leg crab.

Takuya snpamares Kondo then chinlocks him. SI breaks it up and knocks Tanaka off the apron. Tanaka sends SI into the seats. Takuya and Kondo fight outside as well. Tanaka chairs SI in the gut then hits him in the head with a beer.

SI sends Tanaka into one of the seats with a table. SI elbow drops Takuya for 2. SI corner lariats Takuya then 2nd rope double stomps him. Takuya hits shots to the gut and takes a forearm to the face. SI is tripped into the ropes. 

Tanaka hits forearms on SI then does a stunner + ddt combo. Tanaka corner lariats SI then tornado ddt's him. SI and Tanaka trade forearms. Tanaka hits a hard one. SI knees him on the topes. Tanaka lariats him on the ropes. SI hits a nice fire thunder that Tanaka no sells. Tanaka then sliding d's him. Takuya step up enzugiri's Kondo then Kondo pop-up powerslams him. Kondo hits a lanzarse on Takuya for 2.

Tanaka and SI lariat battle. SI is pulled over the top and they fight outside. Takuya rolls up Kondo for 2 then Kondo lariats him off the backslide attempt. Kondo picks up the win.

Thoughts: I liked this one. It was a good opener with lots of stiff shots from vets who have been doing this stuff for a long time. I didn't like the delayed sell/no sell on the fire thunder by Tanaka but this felt like early 2000's puroresu otherwise.

SI and Tanaka brawl in the seats after. They use chairs and SI's head is banged off the table seats. SI then gets on the mic and has words for Tanaka. The fight then continues.

AMAKUSA vs. Eita vs. Alejandro vs. Dragon Bane vs. Starboy Charlie

Bane side headlocks Ale, Star gets in and we get a 5 person headlock spot. 4 people drop down and Eita avoids a 4 person dropkick. 3 people take armdrags and we get a 5 person dropkick spot. Eita kips up and is booted as soon as he does. Bane and Star hit stereo headscissors.

Bane side headlocks Star then shoulders him over. They flip over eac hother off handsprings and Star flying headscissors Bane. Bane punches Star then corner dropkicks him. Ama springboard chops Bane. Ale flying bodyscissors Ama. Ale slingshot splashes Ama for 2.

Eita facekicks Ama then takes one from Bane. Bane 2nd rope dropkicks Ale. Star uranages Eita then standing corkscrew moonsaults him. Star hits a double pele kick. We get a tower of doom spot then Ale does a top rope frogsplash.

Eita jokingly tries a flippy move and is stopped by Ale. Ale then tope con hilos him. Bane then does a tope con hilo. Star fosbury flops outside. Ama corkscrew topes outside. Ama spiral taps Ale and wins.

Thoughts: I was fine with this. They kept it short. They didn't overdo it and of course we got a bunch of dives. I liked this.

Manabu Soya, Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki vs. Anthony Greene, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. & Vinnie Massaro

Hijo = El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., AG = Anthony Greene

The Vin Man is back. Hijo and Ulka start us off. Hijo takes him down and armlocks him. They get back up. Ulka wristlocks him and armlocks him. Ulka side headlock takeovers him. Hijo headscissors him and they stand off. Ulka cravates him and takes him down by the wrist. Hijo goes for a pin and they stand off again.

Masa and AG go at it. Masa shoulders AG over then misses a senton. AG forearms him and misses a chop and boot. AG's head is banged off the buckles many times. AG then keeps banging his own head off the buckles for some reason. Masa samoan drops him then sentons him.

Vin and Soya go at it. Vin has a new Noah style logo on his singlet. Soya shoulders him and Vin yells at him in Italian. Vin shoulders him over and gets a chant for it. They trade chops. Soya shoulders him over Vin takes a double shoulderblock then double chops from Soya and Masa. Vin dropkicks him. AG chinbreakers Masa then neckbreakers him.

AG walks the top rope and twisting crossbodies Masa.  Masa suplexes AG. Ulka does a ddt out of the slingblade on AG. Ulka high kicks AG then does a backbreaker into a flatliner.

AG boots Ulka and Hijo kicks Ulka in the back of the head by surprise. Masa saves Ulka from a double suplex. Ulka and Masa hulk up together after taking a punch and then knock over their opponents. Vin lariats Masa and Ulka. Soya spears Vin and Vin lariats Soya over.

5 of the wrestlers go outside and Hijo rope walk swantons them. Jack Morris comes out and interferes, beating up Ulka. Jack hits a tiger driver on Ulka and causes the DQ.

Thoughts: It's a shame we got interference here as this was a fun match. We had a bunch of styles clashes but somehow they got this to work. Vin was fun against Soya and everyone came off looking good. They were brave to ruin this one.

Jack gets on the mic and says the match is over and it's time to hit the showers. Jack says Ulka is undeserving of his match with Nakamura and says it's a waste of time. He says he will kick Ulka's @ss on Sunday. He says he will leave NOAH with no choice but to change the match to Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jack Moriris. Jack dropkicks Ulka and then taunts him. Jack then takes a picture giving him the finger.

West Coast Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title Match - Kevin Blackwood (c) vs. Titus Alexander

Kev was supposedly signed to AEW months ago but has yet to make TV. Titus rolls out of a wristlock as does Kev. Kev hits a big forearm then Titus dropkicks him. Titus topes him outside. Kev flying lariats Titus. He then trips him into a double stomp. Kev chokes Titus on the ropes. Titus hits chest kicks. Kev hits chest kicks. Titus goes for a handspring and is dropkicked. They fight outside and Kev backdrops him on the apron. Kev stomps on him then hits chops inside.

Kev hits a running euro in the corner on Titus. Titus top rope crossbodies him. Titus goes up and over then upkicks Kev. Titus rolls Kev into a double underhook backbreaker.

Titus forearms him then Kevin rolls out of a michinoku driver. Kev spinning forearms him. Titus superkicks him and handsprings but is caught with a backdrop. Kev death valley drivers him for 2.

They fight on the 2nd rope. Titus is crotched up there. Kev top rope backdrops him for 2. Titus hits a strike combo and they high kick each other at the same time. Kev facekicks him then Titus lariats him for 2. Kev enzugiri's him then pumping knees him.

Kev brainbusters him for 1. Kev corner facekicks him then hits a top rope M. Bison stomp for 2. Titus superkicks him and takes a high kick. Titus hits a handspring cutter then Titus flying knees him for 2. Titus hits a chaos theory german and wins.

Thoughts: It was interesting to see a title change. It was an indy style match and I wasn't a big fan of it. 

GHC Women's Title Gauntlet Battle Royal - Chigusa Nagayo vs. Takumi Iroha vs. Yuu vs. Miyuki Takase vs. Nightshade vs. Miku Aono vs. Utami Hayashishita vs. Great Sakuya vs. Sadie Gibbs vs. Kouki Amarei vs. Bozilla

Great Sakuya and Sadie Gibbs start us off. Great ducks a lock-up and Gibbs knees her in the gut. Gibbs misses a dropkick and armdrags her. Bozilla comes in. Boz hits a double lariat. Boz hits corner splashes on both then does a double suplex. Boz sentons both and gets eye raked by Great.

Takumi Iroha comes out. Iroha tries to eliminate Boz. Iroha hits some forearms. Iroha legsweeps Gibbs, making her ddt Boz. Iroha spinning heel kicks Great. Miku Aono comes out. Miku hits leg kicks on great then Great spin kicks and axe kicks her. Miku spinning twisting slams Great.

Miku dropkicks opponents in the corners. Miyuki Takase comes out. She fights off elimination from the start. Boz shoulders a bunch of people over then shoves Gibbs over. Miyuki top rope dropkicks Boz. Miku hits kicks on Miyuki. Nightshade comes out. Night hits a double lariat then suplexes Great. Night swinging side slams Miyuki and splashes Boz.

Night hits corner hip attacks. Kouki comes out. She facekicks multiple girls. Miyuki chops Kouki then Kouki crossbodies her. Kouki facekicks her and they trade facekicks for chops and forearms. Yuu comes out. Yuu shoulders over Miyuki and Kouki. She lariat battles with Boz.

Yuu grabs Night and gets double teamed by Boz and Night. Yuz has her double crossbody stopped by them and Iroha knocks them over. Iroha shakes hands with Yuu then Yuu chops her. Yuu tries to do her silly steamroller move but Night and Boz stop her.

Utami Hayashishita comes out. Utami hits a double dropkick and shoulders people over. Yuu shoulders Utami over. Utami and Miyuki fight off elimination. Chigusa Nagayo then comes out. Iroha helps her in. Everyone attacks Chigusa and Iroha helps her out. Chigusa forearms Kouki over then does the same to Miku. Utami takes a double punch from Iroha and Chigusa.

Chigusa goes face to face with Boz. Boz shoves her. Chigusa chops Boz and hurts her own hand. Chigusa tries to self eliminate. She grabs Boz on the ropes. Great green mists Chigusa when Boz moves and Chigusa is eliminated.

Night spears Utami. Night gets on the apron and Yuu bodyblocks her off for the elimination. Miyuki and Yuu trade chops. Yuu chops Miyuki over then Yuu does a double side slam. Yuu cannonballs a bunch of people in the corner. Yuu bounces on the top rope and is pushed over by Utami for the elimination. 

Boz slams a bunch of girls. Boz is pulled over the top. She takes a high kick and is eliminated after Great's green mist. Miku and Miyuki are pushed into each other and take a double lariat to the back by Utami. Utami dropkicks Gibbs.

Utami racks Iroha then Kouki boots them both over. Utami takes corner attacks from everyone. Iroha throws Utami over the top for the elimination. Miyuki takes a double superkick. Great eye pokes then germans Iroha. Kouki facekicks Iroha off the apron for the elimination. 

Miyuki lariats Kouki over. She then lariat battles with Miku. Miyuki hits a double dropkick off the buckles. Miyuki and Miku lariat each other. Miyuki stunners Miku over the top rope. Great then pushes Miyuki and Miku ou for the eliminations.

Great dances then is hit by Gibbs and Kouki. Great asai moonsaults both. Gibbs hits a double lariat. Ribbs headscissors Great over the top for the elimination. Gibbs lariats Kouki. They are the last two in this. Kouki is put on the apron. Kouki cutters Gibbs in the ring. Kouki 180 splashes Gibbs. Gibbs is thrown over but holds onto the ropes. Kouki kicks her over and wins.

Thoughts: Japanese battle royales aren't usually real serious and this was not super serious. They did have some fun with it and screwed around a little. The work wasn't the best here with Kouki missing a bunch of kicks. This one also went long at over 20 minutes. The fact that this was a gauntlet for the title and wasn't even done on a full NOAH show should probably tell you how serious this is going to be treated. Even so, I don't really understand the thinking behind it when Noah has a bigger show this week. This was average overall and could have been sped up a bit.

Takashi Sugiura & Yu Owada vs. All Rebellion (Kai Fujimura & Kaito Kiyomiya)

Kaito and Sugi trade forearms to start. Sugi facekicks and shoulders him over. Kai now has blonde hair and he squares off with Sugi. Kai headflips out of a wristlock and puts his own on. Sugi back elbows him over.

Kai side headlocks Yu then shoulders him over. Yu armdrags him. Yu slingshots, rolls over his back and armdrags him. Yu then dropkicks him. Kai armdrags Yu and pulls his arms back. Yu ropebreaks.

Kaito back elbows Yu then does a flashing elbow drop. Kaito crabs Yu then trades forearms with Sugi. Kaito dropkicks him. Yu flips over Kaito then 2nd rope twisitng crossbodies him. Kaito hits forearms and euros on Sugi. Sugi forearms him and hits a shot to the gut. Sugi knees Kaito in the gut.

Sugi 2nd rope superplexes Kaito for 2. Kaito hurricanrana's him then flying knees Sugi. Kaito and Sugi trade forearms. Kaito spinning forearms him then dropkicks him. Sugi lariats him.

Kai and Yu go at it. Kai armdrags and dropkicks him. Kai 2nd rope twisting sentons him. Kai pulls both of Yu's arms back. Yu rolling spears Kai for 2. Yu fisherman suplexes him for 2. Yu hits a death valley driver into a reverse ddt on Kai. Sugi does a nasty german on Kaito's head and Kaito tiger suplexes him.

Kai rolls up Yu for 2 then superkicks him. Kai flying forearms Yu. Kai final cuts Yu for 2. Kai flying forearms Yu and wins it.

Thoughts: It was a fun main. Everyone had it hard here. We got lots of stiff shots from Sugi and Kaito while Kai and Yu kept things moving at a fast pace. It was a nice mix of action. Kaito took a nasty german on his neck here from Sugi.

Kaito and Sugi fight after. Kaito then talks to him on the mic.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show. We had a lot of different things going on with the first women's champ being crowned, the juniors, a strong opener and a good main. You couldn't ask for much more out of this and this surpassed all expectations. I enjoyed this one and recommend it. I'd give this an 7 out of 10.
