Tony Schiavone is in the ring. The Hurt Syndicate comes out. MVP says Tony can go. MVP says their goal is to enrich the lives of younger talent. He says they want to make them realize their greatest potential. He says if he offers you a business card, it's a golden ticket to success. He says it can change your life if you accept it and if you reject it, this is what happens. We then see Bobby Lashley beating up Swerve from last week. MVP says they didn't want to make an enemy of Swerve, but he wanted to make an enemy of them.

Swerve Strickland comes out with a chain. Various refs and Prince Nana stop him. Swerve says, "Bobby Lashley, Full Gear". MVP says, "we'll see you there, kid".

Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin vs Pac and Claudio Castagnoli

The heels go after OC as he enters. Wheeler Yuta is with the heels. Darby jumps off the entrance area onto the heels. OC's head is banged off the apron by Pac then it is banged off the commentary table. Darby drives CC into the rails. The bell then rings.

OC's head is banged off the buckles by Pac. Pac spin kicks OC. OC PK's Pac. Pac corner facekicks OC. Pac is knocked off the top and flips for it. OC top rope diving ddt's Pac for 2. CC hits backbreakers on OC.

We go to PiP break and return. CC backbreakers Darby. CC spears the post when OC moves and Darby is tagged in. Darby shotgun dropkicks Pac. Darby hits a top rope coffin drop outside on Pac. Darby is caught off the top by CC. CC does a high back body drop on Darby for 2.

Darby is caught off the buckles and takes a spinning backbreaker from CC. Pac germans Darby for 2. Darby takes corner attacks and Pac suplexes Darby for 2. Pac hits a high angle superplex on Pac. OC is tagged in. OC bangs Pac's head off the buckles.   

OC hits a top rope crossbody on Pac. OC goes for a ddt on CC but is caught and hits a stunner. Darby then code red's CC off of it. OC topes Pac and CC. Darby then topes Pac. OC ddt's Pac. Yuta goes after OC and takes an orange punch. Marina Shafir then gets in and kicks the ref out. Mox then attacks OC and puts a sleeper on. Darby hits Mox with a skateboard. Darby flips out of a Pac german then hits Pac and Yuta with his skateboard. Darby topes Yuta. CC gorilla presses Darby into the post and Darby takes a nasty looking bump off of it.

OC is then beat up on by the heels. The Conglomeration comes out to help and clears the heels off.

Thoughts: The match wasn't bad. OC isn't doing his comedy these days and I like that. I still don't buy him as some main event serious wrestler though. The finish was disappointing but at least there was a reason for it. Darby took some awful looking bumps here as he took a top rope brainbuster and a gorilla press throw into the post.

Ricochet is interviewed by Renee. He says he can pick anyone for is mystery partner tonight but is going to keep it secret until later. The Hurt Syndicate then walk in and surround Ric. Ric says they talked already and MVP says he wants to wish them good luck.

Fight Without Honor - The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O'Reily) vs The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill and Bryan Keith)

They all fight to start. BK hits Ishii with a kendo stick. Bill throws Kyle out and Mark hits CJ with the ROH title. Mark dropkicks CJ through the ropes and Ishii backdrops CJ into a table. Mark jumps off a chair onto Bill off the apron. Kyle and BK fall off the apron through a table at the same time. Bill chokeslams Mark through a ladder.

We go to PiP break and return. Mark and CJ duel chairs. Mark chairs him and BK then takes a facekick from Bill. Bill black hole slams Kyle. Bill takes shots from alll 3 opponents. Bill then takes a high/low. Kyle flying knees Bill off the apron.

They mess up a tower of doom spot and it turns into a stereo superplex and powerbomb spot. Big Bill and Kyle O'Reily fight in the back. Bill and Kyle fight on a box and Bill tries to chokeslam Kyle through tables. They both fall through the table. Mark hits a jay driller on CJ. Mark hits a top rope elbow drop off a ladder through a table on CJ.

Ishii lariats BK then Mark dives on BK outside. Ishii sliding lariats CJ then brainbusters him for the win.

Thoughts: I kind of felt like we saw a lot of this in the Briscoe/Jericho match a few weeks ago. It was a hardcore trios match with some big spots and mostly people using weapons on each other. It was fine, but these matches aren't the most well thought out or masterpieces. 

Mox, Yuta and Shafir are in the back. Mox says Yuta owes Orange Cassidy nothing. Mox says Darby Allin is a disappointment and says it's time he stops playing with the things he takes seriously.

Adam Cole vs Malakai Black

Cole has to win 3 matches in a row to face MJF and is on his second match here. Black hiptosses him over and wristlocks him. Black armdrags him. They go outside and Black is sent into the rails. Black jumps off the apron at runs into a superkick.

We go to PiP break and return. They trade shots Cole death valley drivers him on the knee. Cole hits canadian destroyer. Black no sells it and knees him in the face. Cole hits forearms. Cole superkicks him and takes a kick to the head. Cole hits oblivion. Black spin kicks him in the face for 2.

Cole hits a panama sunrise and a superkick. They stare at each other and Cole hits the boom knee to the back of the head and wins.

Cole and Black then hug after for some reason.

Thoughts: This was terrible. The crowd didn't care. They didn't work together well at all, the outcome was predictable and it was slow. They also did little selling here with canadian destroyers being no sold. This was Cole at his worst. I have no idea what the finish was about either.

Cole says Black is one of the best he has ever fought. He says he and Strong have more matches to win to fight MJF. He says it'll be Strong vs MJF vs Cole at Full Gear in a triple threat when they get enough wins. He says MJF will get the @ss kicking of a lifetime.

MJF is watching at home and he's upset. He calls someone on the phone and says to pay someone a visit.

Jay White is interviewed by Renee. Adam Page attacks him and they fight to the stage area. Jay is driven into the rails. Jay's leg is put between rails and Page hits it. Juice Robinson comes out and helps Jay. Page is sent into the rails. Page hen runs away through the crowd.

Jay tells him not to run away again. He says he will beat him at Full Gear and have fun doing it. He says he will be the ifrst man to make Page tap out.

Renee interviews Kris Statlander. Kris says Mone can't change that she will be the new TBS champ. Kamille tries to hit Kris with a car with Mone in it. She misses. Kris grabs Mone. Kamille's arm has a car door slammed on it and Mone takes a uranage on the car hood.

Thoughts: This wasn't good and made Kamille look like an idiot.

Christian Cage and his crew come out minus Killswitch who is still not doing well. CC has security guards with him. He formally welcomes Kip Sabian to The Patriarchy. He says he's a fatherless loser looking for guidance like the rest of the fans. He says he still has his contract due to Kip. He says Kip did more for him than his other sons did. He then hugs Kip.

Hook comes out and says he doesn't have much patience. CC says he needs a son like Hook. He says Taz couldn't have that voice in Hook's ear if Hook was going to be CC's son. CC says Taz saw his face and asked why Taz didn't just Hook it was him. CC says Taz realized he could take Hook to heights Taz couldn't.

CC says Taz was a big fish in a small pond who buckled under pressure on the big stage. He asks if he wants to be announcer like his father or a multi-time champ like Christian. CC says he wishes Hook's father was dead. Hook then gets through security and goes after CC's crew. Hook is stopped by security.

Don Callis is interviewed. Someone gives Don a letter and a ring box. He then has a phone message from MJF telling Don to take out Cole and tells him there's another man in a suit who will scratch Don up if he scratches his ring.

Penelope Ford vs Jamie Hayter

Jamie is hit as she poses on the ropes. Jamie backdrops Ford. Jamie pounds on her. Ford pump kicks her. Ford hits a handspring back elbow on Jamie then corner facekicks her. Ford suplexes her for 2. Ford chokes her with her leg. Ford chokes her on the ropes.

Ford misses a top rope moonsault and takes a low dropkick. Jamie brainbusters/northern lights bombs her. Ford bridges out of a lariat and cutters Jamie. Jamie hits a big surprise lariat and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd wasn't into this. It didn't really help either girl and it wasn't that interesting. Jamie has fallen so far from where she used to be. 

They do a video for Mina Shirakawa who is coming next week.

They do a video on Kazuchika Okada. Chono is brought up and Okada asks who that is. He says he's Japan's greatest export.

Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher vs Ricochet and ?

Ric says they made a mistake letting him choose anyone for his tag partner. He says as of October 4th, someone's contract with The Don Callis Family has expired. He says that person is mad about it and brings out Powerhouse Hobbs.

Hobbs and Ric run in and the four fight. Hobbs double shoulders his opponents over. KT is sent into the rails then Kyle is as well. Rich chops KT and KT just stares at him. KT forearms him down. Hobbs boots Kyle. Ric stands on Hobbs' shoulders and moonsaults off to the outside in a risky spot.

Hobbs suplexes Kyle then shoulders him over. Kyle bridging ddt's Ric. Ric takes a double gordbuster and a double kick to the head. We go to PiP break and return. Adam Cole is watching this in the back. Ric handspring back elbows KT. Hobbs comes in and lariats Kyle. Hobbs powerslams KT.

Hobbs 2nd rope spinning slams KT. KT forearms Hobbs and they trade forearms. Hobbs lariats KT. Ric is caught off a springboard and takes a sitout powerbomb from Kyle. Ric 2nd rope hurricanrana's KT. Ric takes a flying knee from KT.

KT backrolls and Ric flips out of a wheelbarrow german. Ric takes a doomsday device. Ric hits a corkscrew kick and Hobbs bodyblocks Kyle outside. KT release germans Hobbs. Ric hurricaanrana's KT. Ric hits a top rope ssp on KT for 2. Ric running elbows KT then pins him.

Thoughts: It was a midcard match in the main. They did too much as expected and it was a free for all for the most part with everyone doing whatever they want. I don't know why they used Hobbs over Will or Mark Davis and why they didn't give Hobbs the pin here. This is yet again another turn for Hobbs and I have little faith this one will work out any better. 

Kyle hits Hobbs with a chair after. Kyle then chairs Ric. Mark Davis comes out and gets in a shoving match with Kyle after. Lance Archer then nails Mark Davis and hits forearms. Brian Cage lariats Mark. Adam Cole comes out and KT fights with him. Kyle goes to use a screwdriver on ark and Will Ospreay comes out. Will goes after Kyle. Hobbs spinebusters Lance. Kyle avoids a hidden blade and the heels run away.

Overall thoughts: It was a really weak show devoid of any star power. AEW is cold right now and you could feel it here. The MJF/Adam Cole stuff is not working. Kyle Fletcher is not main event material right now. Hook vs Christian kind of feels like more of the same from Christian. Jamie Hayter lost all of the momentum she had. The new-BCC stuff isn't really working either and Adam Page has cooled off. They brought Hobbs back for no real reason when Will and Mark Davis were right there. Private Party won the tag titles last week and weren't on here which was stupid. I was not a fan of this one at all and will be surprised if it does well in the ratings. I'd give this a 4 out of 10.
