Frankie Kazarian vs. Laredo Kid vs. Sami Callihan vs. Jake Something vs. Jason Hotch vs. AJ Francis

The winner of this gets the #20 (last spot) in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. The loser of this gets the #1 spot.

KAz goes to tell the ring announce what to say and Kid dropkicks him off the apron. Kid armdrags Hotch and uses the ropes to armdrag him. Kid flying headscissors him. Jake shoulders over Kid as he runs the ropes and body blocks him. AJ cleans house and slams Kid.

Sami takes a frearm from Hotch then Hotch tope con hilos out. Jake bodyblocks Sami. Kid comes off the top and takes a forearm from Jake. Jake suicide dives outside. Sami throws Kid out onto people via a razor's edge. AJ facekicks Sami over.

Hotch sunset flips Kaz with a superkick from Kid. Hotch M. Bison stomps Kid. Sam cutters Jake. Sami storm zero's Kaz for 2. AJ then steals the pin on Kaz and wins.

Thoughts:
It was your usual multi-man match. The action was fast paced and they squeezed as much in as they could. It was entertaining.

Gia interviews Jonathan Gresham. He says he's been miserable over the last 2 years and until he remembered who he was - the best wrestler in the world. He says he wants to reclaim everything he lost. He says everything starts with Josh Alexander and says it's a comeback that is getting personal.

We see a video of Mike Santana talking about New York City. He talks about living in the streets. He says there's a lot he's not proud of. He says you can take the man out the streets but you can't take the streets out of the man. He says Moose already knows that and if he doesn't, he will make him find out.

Thoughts: I don't find this stuff about Mike growing up in the streets very endearing. I don't think it's real effective at what it is supposed to do, but at least it is some kind of profile on him to explain who he is.

George Iceman and Ash By Elegance come out with a champagne table. They say they have turned Heather Reckless into a sparkling diamond. They then introduce her as Heather by Elegance. Heather comes out with a dress and jewelry on. They show Heather what she looks like and she's impressed by it.

George says they should celebrate with champagne. Xia Brookside comes out. She rips them. She says they humiliated Brinley Reece last week and says karma has a funny way of catching up with you. Xia says to watch your back. Brin then hits Heather and Ash by behind, almost sending them into champagne bowls. Ash and Heather get pushed into each other then get dunked in the champagne. Ash screams and Xia poses with her.

Thoughts: Ash did a good job selling the champagne here and it's always fun when the heels get food and beverages put in their faces.

Josh Alexander vs Jonathan Gresham

They go to the mat and Josh headscissors him. JG then headflips up. Josh wristlocks him. JG armdrags him then rolls him. JG plancha's him, Josh is supposed to catch him but drops him. Josh then picks him back up and rams him into the post.

We go to PiP break and return. They trad forearms. JG goes down, kips up and step up enzugiri's him. JG hits dropkicks to the knee. JG flips into an armdrag on Josh off the ropes. JG topes him outside multiple times.

JG 2nd rope moonsaults Josh. JG then attacks Josh's Northern Armory seconds outside. JG puts Josh in the octopus. Travis Williams distracts the ref and JG gets distracted as well. JG asai moonsaults Josh then topes Travis. JG tries to springboard in but falls and then gets a 2 count.

Josh ankle locks him. Josh hits JG with his headgear when the ref wasn't looking and then hits a C4 spike to win.

Thoughts: Gresham put out a good effort here, doing stuff he doesn't normally does. He also had a really bad botch though that made him foolish. The match was okay overall and more exciting than I expected.

The Northern Armory beat up Gresham after. Steve Maclin comes down to help out. Josh then chairs Steve. Steve is tied to the ropes and security tries to help out. Josh boots Steve and grabs him by the chin. Josh grabs a chain. Sami Callihan and Deaner come out to stop it and Josh backs off.

We see another video on Mike Santana in New York. He says The Bronx is home and says everyone is in constant survival mode. He says he shouldn't be living after all the abuse and things he has been through. He talks about Moose and says he can see the fear in Moose's eyes. He says Moose will have no choice but to go face to face with his fears. He says he will eat him alive and asks if he's ready for the fire he brings.

Wendy Choo vs Jody Threat

Jody runs to and around the ring as usual. Jody throws her over and Choo crawls at her. Choo grabs her by the ankle. Jody side headlocks her then back elbows her. Jody hits corner lariats on Choo then exploders her.

Jody dropkicks her through the ropes. Jody forearms Rosemary outside then is sent into the post. Choo corner facekicks her. Choo throws Jody off the top for 2. Jody is put in tree of woe and Choo basement dropkicks her.

Choo chinlocks her. Jody crossbodies her. They trade forearms. Jody pump kicks her. Jody meteora's her neck on the ropes then germans her. Jody lariats her for 2. Choo backslides her then Jody facekicks her. Jody tope rope flip dives her.

Rosemary throws pillows in the ring. The ref is distracted, Rose forearms Jody and Choo throws Jody down to get the pin.

Thoughts: Jody tried here but it was just average with a dirty finish.

The System do a promo. Eddie says tonight is just a taste of what they will do at Bound for Glory. Moose talks about Mike Santana and says there's a thin line between being courageous and foolishness. He say she will make Mike look like a dumb@ss. Moose says he made it out of the streets because he's a generational challenge. He says he will beat the hell out of Mike and make him trust The System.

The System (Moose, JDC, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards) vs The Hardy Boyz and ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey)

Moose and Bey go at it. Moose has new black and blue tights with stars on the knees. Moose facekicks him and Bey dropkicks him from behind. Moose takes a double legsweep then double kicks to the head. JDC is thrown out. Jeff jumps off of Matt's back and splashes Eddie and Brian in the corner. ABC then also do it. Matt hits a flying double clothesline off the apron and Jeff dives of the apron. Ace and Bey then hit planchas.

We go to break and return. Jeff clubs on JDF then takes corner spears from him. Moose boots him in the corner. Alisha Edwards chokes Jeff on the apron. Jeff suplexes Eddie then Brian chinlocks Jeff. Matt gets in and hits lariats and a back elbow on Brian. Brian's head is banged off the buckles then Eddie's head is banged off the buckles. Matt hits a side effect on Brian. Brian takes a double back elbow. Bey is pulled out of the ring by Alisha. The System then triple stomp Bey outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Brian front facelocks Bey. Bey cutters Brian. Ace gets in and hits shots on JDC. Ace russian legsweeps him then legdrops him him. Eddie headbutts Ace. Ace kicks Moose from the apron and springboard double dropkicks The System. Ace spin kicks JDC for 2.

Matt snapmares Moose then Brian lariats Matt. Jeff hits whisper in the wind on Brian and Eddie. Jeff hits a twist of fate on JD then flipping plancha's Moose. Bey is lifted into a cutter on JDC then Ace hits the fold on JDC and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a decent tag here with the heels controlling things and the faces making their comeback to win. There was nothing wrong with this though I was surprised it didn't go longer since they had the time.

The System attack the faces after. Mike Santana comes out to help. Mike stares down Moose. Alisha hits Mike with a kendo stick. Moose then nails Mike and Moose wraps a chain around Mike's face. Bey takes a double team double underhook and Moose chokes Mike with the chain. Jeff takes a backpack stunner. Jeff has a chair on his shoulder and Brian drops another chair on it from the top. The System then pose.

Santino is out in the ring for a double contract signing ceremony. Santino says Bound for Glory will be historical this weekend and says he will make the matches official. Masha Slamovich, Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry and Nic Nemeth all come out.

Santino says we have four of the best out here and lets everyone talk. Masha says she said everything that needs said. She says she signed her first TNA contract 3 years ago here. Grace says this is a full circle moment and says they both know how this plays out. She says nothing has changed and says she's sorry she will have to beat her again to make her understand that.

Joe tells Nic this has been an 11 year journey. He said he saw Nic backstage a few years ago and saw a champion in Nic. He said he played the part of a lawyer that day and says there's a contract in front of them that could change their destinies. Joe says they don't just say his name, they believe in Joe Hendry. He says there will be a new face of TNA and says the whole world will be chanting, "we believe".

Nic says Joe needs to focus on him. He says Joe will be in there with the best and he doesn't plan on losing.

Kaz comes out. He tells everyone to shut up as the real star of the show is here. He says he will try to explain how he became ref for the World Title match. He says he went to the Earl Hebner Referee Academy and obtained his ref license. He says he went to the Anthem Executives instead of Santino. He says he has tenure. He tells the girls to be thankful he isn't involved in their match as he would steal their thunder too. Kaz tells Masha to sit down, calling her "Nikolai". He calls Santino a stooge.

He says Santino's toy badge doesn't mean anything at Bound for Glory. He says Santino isn't the law there, he is. Kaz says he will call the Nemeth/Hendry match down the middle. He says the right man will walk out champ. He puts his hands on Nic's and Joe's shoulders and they bang his head off the table.

Grace holds Kaz. Nic and Joe tease punching him. They then point to Santino. Kaz spits at Santino. Santino hits Kaz with the cobra. Everyone then puts Kaz through the table.

Overall thoughts: It your usual okay episode of TNA. There was nothing that great or exciting here but nothing awful either. They did what they could to push all the matches at Bound for Glory this weekend though Bailey/Vikingo and Cardona/PCO didn't have any new developments here. BFG may be TNA's biggest show of the year but it doesn't really feel like it and I can't say I'm super excited for anything on the show.
