WWE NXT Level Up 3/1/2024

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/02/wwe-nxt-level-up-2232024.html

Bryon Saxton and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo vs Kale Dixon

Adriana Rizzo is with Stacks. We haven't seen him for 8 months according to commentary due to a shoulder injury. They lock up and Kale backrolls him. Stacks rolls him up then gets his back. Stacks waistlock takedowns him then suplexes him.

They armdrag each other then criss-cross each other. Kale armdrags him then dropkicks him out. Kale slides out but is caught in the ring skirt and pounded on. Stacks hits punches then back elbows him. Stacks knee drops him then hits boots and kicks to the body. Kale hits nice punches then takes a corner splash. Stacks lariats him for 2.

Stacks rolls up Kale then cravates him. Stacks is pushed into the buckles then Kale hits punches. Kale shoulders and forearms him then hits a lifting flatliner for 2. Stacks tornado ddt's him then hits his cement shoes knee curbstomp.

It was a short but decent match. Kale got a lot of offense in here and it looked. He threw some nice punches here.

Sarah Schreiber interviews Je'von Evans. He faces Javier Bernal tonight. Evans says the young OG is here and this is all he ever wanted. He said he's ready to be the top guy here. He said Javi has been here for a minute but says he has to eat and has bills to pay. He says Javi is in his way and says he will show why he is called The Young OG.

Wren Sinclair vs Lola Vice

Lola has a new haircut which makes her look like another person. Wren wants a test of strength but Lola punches her hand. Lola takes her down by the arm then Wren wristlocks her. Wren rolls her up for 2 then shoulders her over. Wren grabs a leg then Lola takes her down and gets her back.

Wren takes her down by the arm then Lola euros her. Lola pulls her backwards then bangs her arm off the post. Lola stomps the hand then throws her back against the buckles. Lola corner hip attacks her and stinkfaces her.

Lola armlocks her. Wren fights back and dragon screws her. Wren hits lariats and dropkicks her. Wren backrolls her for 2 then takes a uraken. Lola then gets the win.

It was boring. They didn't do a lot here but armlocks and throwing people backwards.

Javier Bernal vs Je'von Evans

JB dances during his entrance. They lock up and JB wristlocks him. JB turns it into an armlock. Evans kips up, cartwheels and flips out. Evans uses the ropes to armdrag him from behind then flying headscissors him. Evans seated bounces off the top rope and hurricanrana's him.

JB hits a stiff boot to the face then lariats him. JB backdrops him for 2. JB trips him into the 2nd rope then superkicks him. They trade shots and Evans hits running forearms. Evans kips down then kips up and enzugiri's him. Evans high kicks him from the apron then springboard lariats him for 2.

JB ddt's him for 2. Evans rolls him up for 2 then cradles him for 2. Evans superkicks him then double jump tornillo splashes him to win it.

It was okay. Not great or anything. Evans has a lot of energy and moves well. I liked his finisher here and had not seen that one before.

Overall thoughts: Two of the three matches were okay. It was watchable and quick at under 30 minutes but not must see or anything. I wouldn't recommend this one.
