Ali was surprised Jake was in this, saying he wasn't supposed to be in and he was mad he won.
It was a fast paced 6-man as expected. Not too crazy much to my surprise and we only had a few dives here. Leon got some shine spots here and had a good showing minus a botch.
Dango, Oleg and Alpha Bravo talk in a gazebo. Dango answers questions and says the people who rate matches don't rate his. He said he took Josh Alexander to the limit and Josh snuck it out because Dango's shoelaces were untied. He said he's at the top of his game. He said he excels at what he does and kills it with promos. Dango said he's only as good as the people he surrounds himself with and said he has two anchors pulling him down. Dango says he's the bread and the butter and makes the money here while hte other two are on the gravy train. Dango tries to tell Oleg to sit down and Oleg doesn't. Dango said he doesn't listen and that's his problem. He mocks him for not being able to beat Josh then Oleg grabs him before leaving.
You know me, I'm not a fan of this meta kayfabe breaking stuff.
Gia Miller interviews AJ Francis and Rich Swann. AJ says if she has questions for Swann, talk to him. Gia said everyone wants an explanation. AJ says she will get it but she has to wait until next week with everyone else. AJ thne says to leave as they have a first class flight to catch.
Deaner comes out. He said he hasn't had the best few years and said he placed the failures of Violent By Design on other people. He said he's the one who should be blamed and said they are his fault. He said the best decision he made was when he was 5 and became a wrestling fan. He said he lost his passion for wrestling and needs to get it back. He said he will only get it back with the fans help. He said he's no longer making the decisions, it's in the fans hands. He said it's no longer his choice, it's the people's choice.
The Grizzled Young Vets come out. They ask if he is ill and if he thinks anyone cares about him. He said Deaner needs to take advice from the Veterans, not the fans. He said everyone in this building wakes up, quits and gives up, doing nothing with their lives. He said they offer nothing to society like Deaner offers nothing to wrestling. They said Deaner is in the ring on GYV time and tell him to leave.
Deaner said he made a promise to the people and you don't get to decide if he leaves, the people do. The fans tell him to stay. Gibson said he's good at this job and if Deaner doesn't leave now, they will do something he won't enjoy. Deaner said the people have spoken and he fights with the GYV's. The Vets stomp him then Alex Shelley and Kushida come out for their match.
The Grizzled Young Veterans vs KUSHIDA and Alex Shelley
The faces get stomps then throw The Vet's out. Kushida handspring kicks Gibson off the apron. Alex hits forearms on Drake then shoulders him over. Kushida fireman's carry takeovers Gibson then hits an armdrag and headscissors. Kush takes a double clothesline then he trades with Drake. Drake takes a sequence that ends in a cartwheel dropkick. The Vets stop a double team and Alex is dropkicked in the face. Kush hits a punch to block a doomsday device and Alex flatliners Gibson. Kush paradise locks Drake and wins it via submission.
It was a bizarre match with the faces working over the heels and then them switching back over in the last section of this one. It was slower for the most part and in no way anything close to what it could have been.
They talk about the Josh/Hammerstone match. Josh said he's fast tracking his way to the top and doesn't need to prove he's a better wrestler than Josh. He said he's bigger, stronger and proved that he's smarter. He holds up Josh's earguards and said he got a trophy out of it. He said it will be a reminder of what happens to him if he wants another match.

PCO goes up top then Kon comes out with weapons. Kon throws weapons in the ring then PCO tope con hilos him. PCO hits trash can shots on Kon. Steve eye rakes PCO then Kon backdrops PCO onto chair tops. Steve solls up PCO and wins it.
It was a weird one that really only seemed to continue the Kon/PCO feud. I like the feud though so I guess I'm okay with it.
Decay does a promo. They said they have their eyes on Spitfire. They said there's a contractually obligated rematch for the Women's Tag Titles and they are coming after it. MK Ultra comes in. Masha speaks Russian and they argue over who should be the #1 contenders to the tag titles. Rosemary challenges them to a match.
Eric Young come out to talk. He said he came up short at Sacrifice. He said he will keep coming forward. He tells Kazarian to watch what he wishes for. He said he made a mistake. He said if he wants to be heavy metal, let's see how heavy metal he is. He challenges him to Full Metal Mayhem at the next PPV.
Ash By Elegance vs Seleziya Sparx
I last saw Sparx on ROH 7/6/23. Ash wristlocks her then SS reverses it. Ash u2ses the ropes to flip out of it then tells her to kiss her hand. Ash slaps her when she refuses then SS's head is banged off Ash's knees. Ash lariats her then SS gets her knees up on a cartwheel move. Ash lariats her then hits mounted punches.
Ash handspring back elbows her then hits a top rope swanton. Ash then gets the win in this quick squash.
Ash pounds on her after and chokes her with a chair. Xia Brookside then comes out and stops Ash.
Nic Nemeth comes out to talk. He said he went face to face with Moose as soon as he arrived and said he will become TNA champ. He said Steve Maclin was the first person to step up to him though. He said Steve told him he would run him out of TNA. Nic said he's not going anywhere and he's here to stay.
Nic said he was going to keep grinding and wait. He said Moose didn't want to wait though and now they have a title match together. The System come out. Moose says there's no denying that Nic is accomplished and said he beat some of the best of all time. He said Nic has never been able to beat the system though throughout his career.
Knockouts World Title - Jordynne Grace (c) vs Tasha Steelz
Steelz hits shots and gets nowhere. Grace shoulders her over then chops her back. Grace hits corner spears and sends her hard into the buckles. They go outside and Steelz hits a pump kick. Grace suplex lifts her, carries her around the ring and is neckbreakered on the floor.
Grace chops Steelz up and Grace blocks an enzugiri. Graces goes for a powerbomb but Steelz falls down on her. Steelz hits a rings of saturn then Grace tilt-a-whirl slams her. They trade chop and Grace spinebusters her. Grace powerbombs her out of the triangle.
Grace gets stuck on the 2nd rope and hangs on to block a neckbreaker. Steelz hits a shiranui and Grace gets stuck up top. Steelz throws her off the buckles then step up enzugiri's her. Grace urakens her and lariats her. Grace then hits a made in Japan and wins it.
The crowd wasn't that excited for this one. It probably would have worked better if Steelz had cheated more and used more cheap tactics on Grace.
Overall thoughts: The crowd wasn't that great here and brought down the energy and general feeling of the show. The main didn't really deliver and neither did the Vets vs Kushida/Shelley match which should have been better than it was. I don't recommend this one.
