Thrillbilly Silas Mason is interviewed. He said he's on the Oscar nomination list for The Iron Claw movie. He says he's a Hollywood superstar, sexual stallion and the biggest man who has ever lived. He holds up his title and said it almost gets eclipsed. He said he was born in a Waffle House and ascended to the top of pro sports. He said George Washington, Genghis Khan and Jesus are below him in status.

Bruiser Bob then comes in. He says he owes his 3rd cousin Bruiser Bob a shot at the National Title. He said he tried to text and call him. He asks "where's my shot?". Silas said he can't give him a shot right now in front of these people. Bob calls him a big-headed, egg sucking meatbag. He said they are family and blood. He said he will give him his shot and asks if going to Hollywood made him a coward. Silas says he was drunk and didn't follow up on his word. He said he's going to tell him what his 2nd favorite movie of all-time is and says it's called Pearl Harbor. The Southern Six then jump Bob. Devan Dixon then makes the save.

The Southern Six (Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton) vs Devan Dixon and Bruiser Bob

Dixon gets hit from behind then takes corner spears. Alex flips and lands on his feet then gets dropped. Kerry gets slammed and backbreakered. Kerry takes a double shot to the gut then has his head banged off the buckles. Kerry stomps Bob in the corner then Alex double underhook suplexes Bob. Bob is tripped into an elbow drop then Kerry stomps him.

Kerry slingshot suplexes Bob then Bob is beat up on by Alex. Alex back elbows Bob. Kerry flying back elbows him in the corner. Bob gets his feet up and swings at him. Dixon is tagged in. Dixon hits lariats then drops Silas on the apron.

Silas trips Dixon outside and Kerry hits a jumping knee. Kerry elbow slices Dixon and wins it.

I thought it was silly that Silas started a fight and Kerry/Alex ended up wrestling the match. The match was average though Kerry was full of energy like usual.

Silas says he's coming for EC3's title, relinquishing his title to do it.

I'm not real supportive of wrestlers relinquishing titles. It makes the titles feel like they are worthless.

Vampiro does a promo. He said you can't come here in eyeliner, dressed in black and asking him for something. Vamp said he tried to do this with someone who was close to an unnamed person and said look how it turned out. Vamp said he's trying to warn him. He says he's been there and is giving him fear. He said he has scar tissue and can't function. He said when it's all said and done, he told him so. Vamp said he's not his friend and he wants to see him fall. He said when he comes to collect, ask your dad as he knows. We then cut to some psycho looking guy.

Sorry I can't give more insight on this. They've never really explained who or what Vamp is talking about.

Billy Corgan talks about Silas Mason relinquishing his belt. He said there will be an 8 man tournament that ends in a four way for the National Heavyweight Title. He then names the people in it.

Tiffany Nieves vs Ruthie Jay

Tiff throws her down backwards then back elbows her. Ruthie headscissors her then does a weird crossbody in the corner. Ruthie slingshot double knees her in the corner then hits chops.

Ruthie takes snake eyes in the corner then Tiff bangs her head off the buckles. Tiff hits boots to the gut then handstand hurricanrana's her in the corner. Tiff spinning side slams her for 2. Ruthie hits kicks and dropkicks her. Ruthie lariats her then suplexes her. Ruthie then holds on for a sitout gordbuster.

Tiff spinebusters her then does a texas cloverleaf. Tiff then taps her out.

It was a short but okay women's match. They felt like they were really going at it at times and Tiff has some personality to her.

Burchill and Bobby Fulton are interviewed. Burchill said he's placing the NWA roster on notice. He said he respects them but will knock down whoever is in front of him. He said he will be the next NWA National Heavyweight champion. Fulton's managing AJ Cazana since Joe is suspended. He said he has cancer or something and that messed up his voice. He said Austin Idol's going to be all his if he gets in the ring.

Bobby's trying but he really shouldn't be out there.

Eric Smalls, a midget wrestler, is interviewed. Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox come in. They grab Eric. Trevor said Eric punched him in the balls twice and asks for a good reason why they shouldn't break him. He said he went after the biggest, baddest dog in this company and that's how he got his job here. Trevor says he can respect that. He said he's alright.

Rolando Freeman comes in. He said they must be delusional thinking he deserves their respect. He said he's a wee little man. Slade also comes in. Freeman said he did the same thing and didn't get the respect. Trevor said it's because he doesn't have the balls. Freeman said he got the cojones. He said he made Rolando's list and is on his radar. He said he made the biggest mistake of his life messing with him and Slade. He said it will be the end of him very very soon. Trevor said The Spectaculars 2.0 should take on Knox, Murdoch and Smalls.

It's really hard to take Freeman as some kind of serious threat. A package explaining this better would have been helpful.

Kratos and Odinson are interviewed. They are told they have to give up their US Tag Titles to take on Blunt Force Trauma for the tag titles. Kratos said every time Aaron Stevens is involved, you always have to give up something. Odinson's eye is swollen. Kratos said you hurt him and everything he looks in the mirror, he thinks of him. Kratos said they aren't giving the tag titles up until they see Aaron in the ring. Kratos says Aaron's a hip hop guy now and he raps. He says he's got 5 fingers and the middle one's for you. Odinson says to witness The Immortals.

NWA National Heavyweight Title Tournament 1st Round - Blake Troop vs Bryan Idol

Troop uranage's him down and takes a side headlock. Troop hits shots to the gut then Bryan dropkicks him. Trop hits knees to the gut. Bryan then gets tripped and stomped on by Chris Silvio outside. Troop hits karelin's lift.

Troop is pulled over the top then Bryan topes him. Bryan takes a top rope belly to belly suplex. Natalya Markova and Troops' second Silvio get in the ring. Markova is pushed over and has a shirt thrown in her face. Silvio is kicked in the nuts then superkicked. Markova pulls his arms back with his legs in a submission.

Bryan spin kicks Troop then neckbreakers him. Bryan double jump top rope moonsaults him for 2. Troop bulldogs chokes him and wins i.

I didn't like all the shenanigans here with Markova and Silvio. They could have done a better job on some of their moves here as they weren't hit that great. 

Overall thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of this one. There's way too many people on this show. It's hard to follow along, it's hard to build momentum and it just makes for a messy experience. Maybe I'm just wrong here, but when I think NWA, I'm thinking traditional wrestling yet we have drag queens, midgets and intergender stuff going on here. It's hard to understand why they are doing this stuff when the people who would want that are already watching AEW and GCW. I don't think old school fans are going to be real impressed with it and we know AEW fans are not watching this show. This show was not for me and I don't recommend it.
