North Pro Wrestling Season 1, Episode 2

I'm not sure of the date on this one, but it's recent. This is from Canada.

Hardcore Channing Decker does a promo. He said he's been making his name across the world for the last 10 years and is entering himself in the tournament for the North Pro Title. He said he will show everyone what the fans already know - Channing Decker is hardcore.

North Pro Wrestling Canadian Title Tournament 1st Round - Marko Estrada vs Channing Decker

Mark looks like a smaller Brian Cage. Marko shoves him and gets shoved. Channing flips out of the corner then slaps and corkscrew legdrops him. Marko hits kicks then dropkicks him. Marko spinning enzugiri's him on the apron then Channing legdrops him over the 2nd rope.

Channing hits a wild tope con hilo on him outside. They fight outside and Marko chops the post when Channing moves. Channing shoves a cane up Marko's crotch. Channing then hits mounted punches outside. Marko's head is banged off the bar counter then Channing is thrown into the apron.

A chair is brought in and Marko is hit in the gut with it. Channing misses a corner charge then Marko cartwheels into a basement dropkick. Marko chinlocks him then hits a blue thunder for 2. Marko hits a big punch then is sent into a chair wedged between then buckles. They trade punches and Channing spinninbg forearms him. Channing throws a chair at him then lariats it into him.

Channing tiger drivers him through a chair for 2. Marko step up enzugiri's him then slingshots and rolls into a cutter for 2. Marko top rope frogsplashes him for 2. Marko death valley drivers him through a piece of wood for 2.

Channing hits a shot flurry and spits in his face. Channing goes up top and has a chair thrown at him, then he falls down off the top. Marko frogsplashes him off the balcony and wins it.

I wasn't a big fan of this as they were kicking out of death valley drivers through pieces of wood and not doing a lot of selling. One would also think Channing would be the face in this but he was the heel. This seemed like something that would have fit better in GCW.

Marko does a promo after on instagram drinking champagne and talking in French.

Troy Merrick vs Chris Cooke

Troy is wearing full body pink fishnets and black tape over his nipples. I don't know why and I don't want to know why. Chris backs him up then gets backed up. Chris hits some nice punches in the corner then corner lariats him. Chris side slams him then hits lariats. Chris hits a big boot.

Troy's buddies get on the apron and distract the ref then Troy hits a knee to the face and a russian legsweep. Troy drops him with a punch then 2nd rope elbow drops him. Chris gets tripped from the outside then spin kicked. They go outside and Troy's head is banged off the bar counter. Chris fights off Troy's buddies and bangs their heads together.

Troy grabs a win bottle and Chris takes a sip of beer from the bar. Troy hits Chris in the head with the wine bottle and is disqualified. One of the commentators then goes to check on Chris after. Chris got busted open from this.

Chris is good and really looks like Adam Pearce. I'd actually like to see him again. Troy's attire is horrible to look at and I didn't like the finish here. It really didn't make any sense either considering there were no rules in the last match, yet this one ended on a DQ. It was also short and ended before it really even got to the 2nd part of the match.

Overall thoughts: This wasn't a good one here. The first match was real indy and looked like something out of GCW. You could honestly say the same about the 2nd match with a man wearing pink full body fishnets. I didn't get the finish on the 2nd match since weapons seemed to be allowed in the first match. I don't recommend this one.
