N-1 Victory 2022 Block B Match - Takashi Sugiura vs. Kinya Okada
Okada gets a hammerlock on the mat. Sugi snapmares him and is put back in it. Sugi side headlocks him and throws him out. Sugi is then thrown into the rails. Okada dropkicks him off the apron and Okada hits some kicks in the corner. Okada gutwrench suplexes him for 2 and they trade forearms Sugi grounded side headlocks him.
Okada waterwheel drops him and hits chest kicks. Sugi drops him with forearms then Okada backrolls him. Sugi lariats him then hits an olympic slam for the win.
This was short and fine. It was basically a squash with Sugi winning here instead of this letting be a full match.
N-1 Victory 2022 Block A Match - El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Anthony Greene
Doc grabs a waistlock and takes him down. Doc wristlocks him then AG rolls him up. Doc shoulders him over then AG uses the 2nd rope to bounce off and armdrag him. They both then do cartwheels at the same time and stand off. They shake hands and AG kicks him then hurricanrana's him. Doc hurricanrana's him out.
AG pulls out Doc and puts him into the rails, then corkscrew plancha's him. AG hits some clubs to the back and elbows him in the ring for 2. AG snapmares him in the back and dropkicks him then chinlocks him at 5 minutes. Doc enzugiri's him in the corner then cannonballs him. Doc then hits a top rope frogsplash for 2. Doc then puts him in an octopus stretch and AG ropebreaks.
Doc chops him against the ropes then AG hits chops. AG chinbreakers him into a neckbreaker and does a release back drop for 2. AG hits forearms and they trade chest slaps. Doc hits a step up enzugiri then they superkick each other. AG goes out and is tope'd. Doc puts him on his shoulders and spins him into a sitout powerbomb for 2. Doc takes some kicks to the face then AG 2nd rope jumping cutters him for 2.
AG does his rope walk twisting crossbody then Doc tries to roll him up but AG counters and wins it.
They go to the mat and Funaki goes for an arm triangle. They don't do much on the mat as we hit the 5 minute mark then Funaki hits knees and a chop. Masa picks him up and drops him on his knees then ties up his legs. Masa tries to headbutt him but Funaki blocks it and slaps him. Funaki hits some knees and slaps then kicks him for 2.
Funaki goes for a choke but is driven back into the buckles then Masa spears him. Funaki slaps him and goes into the choke. Masa backdrops him then hits another. Masa running lariats him for 2. Masa then hits another backdrop and wins it.
The first half was boring with nothing happening then Masa got a bunch of offense in and won it.
N-1 Victory 2022 Block B Match - Satoshi Kojima vs. Jack Morris
They shake hands and Koji grabs the leg while they are on the mat. Jack grabs the arm and Koji ropebreaks. Jack shoulders him over. Koji back elbows him and shoulders him over. Jack dropkicks him and chops him outside. Koji gets whipped into the rails and they go back in. Jack basement dropkicks him and Koji chinlocks. Koji machine gun chops Jack in the corner then top rope elbow drops him.
Koji hits forearms then Jack topes him outside. Jack superplexes him off the top for 2. Koji then ddt's him. Jack sits on the top rope and is lariated to the floor. Koji cutters him for 2 at 10 minutes. Jack spinebusters him for 2 then suplexes him and rolls into a falcon arrow for 2. Koji twisting suplexes him for 2 and hits a lariat as Jack runs the ropes. Koji hits another lariat and wins it.
It just wasn't anything special. Jack really didn't do anything exciting here in his sections and you know what you are getting with Koji.
N-1 Victory 2022 Block A Match - Go Shiozaki vs Masaaki Mochizuki
They shake hands and MM side headlocks him. Go shoulderblocks him and MM is knocked outside. They trade chest chops and MM goes outside. Go then is thrown into the rails. Go chops him against the post then misses and chops the post. MM works the hand. He stands on it and stomps the shoulder. MM keylocks him and Go ropebreaks. MM hits chest chops and blocks Go's chop. MM triangles him and Go ropebreaks.
MM facekicks him from the corner then Go hits machine gun chops on him. MM forearms him then running facekicks him. MM hits kicks on him then fujiwara armbars him. MM kicks the arm then the head for 2. Go hits a go flasher and then hits spinning chops. Go fisherman busters him for 2. Go climbs up the buckles and is german suplexed off. MM superkicks him then is lariated. MM armbars him and Go powerbombs him down. Go hits bolo punches and is slapped then MM high kicks him. Go then flips him with a lariat for 2. Go hits a pump handle style backdrops and wins it.
Mocchy worked the arm almost the whole match here, but I didn't think Go really did anything special to sell that story as he hit lariats and chops anyway.
N-1 Victory 2022 Block B Match - Katsuhiko Nakajima vs Kaito Kiyomiya
KN facekicks him early then Kaito back elbows and elbow drops him. KN then rolls him up with a grounded choke. KN has him choked out and lets go for some stupid reason. KN throws him into the post and rails then facekicks him, sending him hanging over the rails. KN chest kicks him outside.
They go back in and Kaito takes more kicks then flying lariats him. Kaito hits forearms on him then Kaito 2nd rope twisting forearms him. Kaito top rope dropkicks him for 2. Kaito is tripped into the middle buckle then KN kicks the buckle. KN goes for an apron move, Kaito avoids it and pulls him down. KN then starts holding the knee. Kaito slingshots in the ring into a spear on KN's knee then KN enzugiri's him.
KN release german suplexes him then superkicks him. Kaito then comes back with a dropkick. Kaito then germans him for 2. KN slaps him then hits kicks to the front and back. Kaito dragon screws him and hits a shining wizard. KN comes back with a death valley driver then Kaito figure fours him and wins it.
Not a classic, but KN injured his knee and Kaito worked it over and won with a figure four. It made sense and the body part work didn't drag on too long.
N-1 Victory 2022 Block A Match - Kenoh vs Masato Tanaka
Tanaka side headlocks him early and shoulders him over. They battle shoulders and Ken drops him with a chest kick. Ken does a double knee drop on him and they snapmare each other and do kicks to the back. They trade forearms and Tanaka spears him. Tanak hits forearms and is facekicked. Ken is stuck over the middle rope and dragon screwed. Tanaka then sliding d's him in the leg.
Tanaka sliding d's him off the apron then throws Kento into the rails. Tanaka hooks his leg and works it then goes into another leg submission. Tanaka indian deathlocks the legs and Ken slaps him while stuck. Ken hits kicks to Tanaka's chest. Ken double stomps his back then flying knees him in the back of the head. Tanaka ddt's him
Tanaka hits a pair of lariats then tornado ddt's him. Tanaka slams him and Ken gets his knees up on a Tanaka frogsplash. They trade forearms on their knees then stand up and trade. They trade kicks for forearms. Tanaka germans him and gets one back with neither selling it then Ken dragon suplexes him. Ken running PK's him for 2. Tanaka diamond dust's Ken then superplexes him. Ken does a neat falcon arrowish move, Tanaka sliding d's him then Ken head kicks him in the same sequence.
Tanaka hits some forearms then Ken enzugiri's him. Ken hits a high kick. Ken top rope double stomps him. Tanaka avoids another top rope double stomp and sliding d's him in the back. Tanaka brainbusters him for 2. Tanaka sliding d's him and wins it.
They went for a classic here and it wasn't quite that. It was an okay match with a lot of forearms and kicks but it was nothing super memorable.
Overall thoughts: It was a good night at Noah with a collection of decent matches.
