Valentina Feroz vs Arianna Grace

Feroz had a big headdress for her entrance. They warn competitors not to eat Grace's cakes that she cooks because she could poison them. They roll on the mat early and Grace does a nice takedown but Feroz rolls through it. Grace drops her face first on the top rope and hits something like a standing water wheel drop.

Grace chinlocks her and whiplashes her around. Feroz rolls her up on a slam attempt. Feroz hits a nice Thesz press and pounds on her then does some shoulder throws. Feroz then spears her legs. Feroz flips out of another standing water wheel drop attempt and backslides her to win it.

The ending was a little out of nowhere but cool and they really really kept it simple here. This was a short one that was over before it oculd go anywhere.

Sloane Jacobs vs Sierra St. Pierre

This is Sierra's debut. She was Avery Breaux in the indies and I did review one of her matches. Sloane gets a side headlock early and the crowd chants "mardi gras" at Sierra as she wears those colors. Sloane blocks a hiptoss into an armdrag then dropkicks her. We get loud dueling chants here and Sloane 2nd buckle twisting crossbodies her.

Sierra takes her down and pounds on her from the mount. Sierra cranks her neck. Sloane butterfly suplexes her and hits some forearms and back elbows her. She knee lifts her then does a nice short arm clothesline. Sloane high kicks her in the shoulder She then wins it with a fireman's carry into a flipjack.

The crowd was really into this which made this a lot better. I thought Sloane's comeback was at the end was good and it was okay overall.

Ikemen Jiro vs Dante Chen

Chen rolls and headflips out of a wristlock. Chen backslides him then takes a sunset flip and they trade more pinfalls. They then do a stand off after. Jiro headscissors him and poses on the 2nd rope. He flips over Chen and hits some hiptosses then does a Delfin clutch for 2.

Jiro goes for a crossbody but takes a codebreaker in mid-air. Jiro headbutts him in the gut then gets speared against the ropes. Chen armlocks Jiro and hiptosses him. Jiro hits some jacket punches and a spinning jacket punch. Jiro then hits a slingshot arabian moonsault for 2. Chen does an unusual dominater into a gutbuster then Jiro step up enzugiri's him to win it.

Was what it was. Jiro looked good but Chen didn't really bring a lot to this one. Jiro's so far above this.

Overall thoughts: You know the deal. It's NXT Level Up. It's rarely ever a must see show. We had two passable matches here and an okay one, but it's nothing you need to see.
