Zicky Dice’s Trouble in Paradise 2 4/1/2022

They have a mannequin of Zicky at the commentator's desk and there's not a whole lot of people there. The mannequin is impossible to hear early then they fix it later.

Zicky came out to talk and welcome us. Someone said they want to see the bear tonight and Zicky offers to show us what's in his fanny pack instead. He name drops people at the convention and offers an open challenge.

Matt Cardon comes out. Matt tells us to hail the deathmatch king and asks who is paying him. Matt takes offense at Zicky saying he is the king of the internet. Zicky challenges him to a falls count anywhere match.

Zicky powerbombs him to start and they go outside. Zicky slams him on the floor then Matt slams him on the floor. Matt sprays him in the face with something then Zicky pulls a chain out of his tights. Matt pounds on him in the corner then Zicky bites his leg.

Matt throws him over the rails and hits him with Zicky's fanny pack. Zicky suplexes Matt on the floor and Matt low blows him. Matt then boots him in the face and pins him next to the escalator. He then hits Zicky with a sign and Zicky is taken up the escalator.

There wasn't much to this before the sudden finish. It was a little entertaining though.

Jonah Turk vs. Deonn Rusman

JT is really fat and looks like he is special needs. DR is from Alaska. JT crossbodies him. DR kips up and powerbombs him. DR then hits a big spear and wins it. He then spears him again after.

This was a squash and Turk may have the worst look in wrestling. I find myself saying that phrase a lot lately.

Sensational Sextuplet Scramble Match: Frontman Jah-C vs. Carlie Bravo vs. Darian Bengston vs. Lord Crewe vs. Levi Shapiro vs. Keita Murray

Crewe is a cowboy and has a good look. Levi looks exactly like a guy you'd expect to see walking around NYC.

Everyone beats up on Darian to start then Darian is thrown over the top rope. Keita is standing in the corner with his back turned. Levi tries to claw Keita then Keita takes 4 pump kicks at the same time.

Jah jumps up and Levi powerslams him. Levi then walks the middle rope and drops a fist. Bravo flatliners Keita then  flips Darian. Crewe tilt-a-whirl backdrops Bravo. Darian tries to do a handstand in the corner but kind of falls back then does a corkscrew flip on Levi. Crewe then germans him and hits a nice straight punch. Levi and Crewe slap each other then trade forearms. Levi and Crew then powerbomb people and go back to fighting. Levi and Crewe then powerbombs opponents onto other opponents then trade shots again. Crew and Levi then get back dropped.

Everyone goes down.  and Jah tries to ddt Keita on the bottom buckle but somewhat misses. Levi gets crotched on the rail outside then Keita topes Jah. Bravo then flip topes 2 people then Crewe flip dives onto 3 people. Darian did a real nice corkscrew tope con hilo to the outside. The ref then tried to do a dive but Levi stopped it and the camera missed it. The ref kipped up and threw out Levi then tope'd everyone.

Darian took a claw backbreaker from Levi then Levi spinning powerslammed him. Levi hit a nice right overhand shot on Jah. We had a tower of doom spot which Crewe did on everyone. Everyone got a move in and Bravo took a big curb stomp. Jah hit a big superkick on keita and won the match.

This was a spot fest as expected and was comedic. It was was a little entertaining but obviously I didn't like the ref doing tope's on everyone and obviously, there wasn't much logic or story here.

Black Taurus vs Lince Dorado

LD is passing invisible blunts around. BT shoulders him over and they each escape headscissors attempts with headflips. BT rusn into the corner and ends up on the floor then he catches LD's tope con hilo. BT then powerbombs LD into the post.

BT hits a big back body drop and tries to take LD's mask off. LD is thrown into the post outside. LD hits a big delayed german then asai moonsaults him for 2. LD hits a Toyota roll then BT does a nice po-up samoan drop for 2. LD then hit a handspring into a cutter.

BT rolled out and LD crossbodied him from up top. LD then moonsaulted him for 2. LD poisonrana's him for 2 then BT backbreakers him and then powerbomb backbreakers him for 2. They went up top and LD hurricanrana'd him from up there then LD hit an SSP for the win.

This was mostly moves but LD hit a bunch of nice dives here and BT powered him around. This was good one and really helped out this card.

I skipped the Mike Bailey match

Masha Slamovich vs. Bear

The less said about this the better. They said Masha would fight a bear. I think everyone knew it wouldn't happen, but everyone wanted it to happen. Bear ended up being Parrow with Max the Impaler, who is a very strange person in a bear costume. That was it for me.

Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Rich Swann

I ended up missing some of this and just caught Scott winning with a worm.Rich, Scotty and the ref did the 2 Cool dance after. I may come back to this once it gets online.

Overall thoughts: This was not a good show. The prospect of a bear was the only selling point here and there was no bear. This show was not well attended and I know I'm not going to be covering any more of these events.
