Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 4/2/2022 - TJPW Spring Tour '22 Day 2

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling 4/2/2022 - TJPW Spring Tour '22 Day 2

I saw 5 of the 6 matches here.

Miu Watanabe vs Mahiro Kiryu

They do some shoulders early then Mahiro gets on her knees and bows at her. Miu doesn't accept it then Mahiro kneels on her back. Miu flurries on her with chest forearms. Miu stretches her over her knee then Mahiro hits some back elbows.

Miu backbreakers her over her knee then giant swings her.  They trade chest forearms and Mahiro side slams her. Miu gets put in a crab and rope breaks out. Mahiro pounces her then Miu comes back with a neat power slam. Miu then holds her over her shoulder and Mahiro taps without her even really pulling or racking her.

This really wasn't anything special.

Neko Haruna and Kaya Toribani vs Maki Itoh and Raku

Raku does Maki's dance here as her backup dancer in a cool moment.

Neko eye rakes Maki early then walks the top rope and rakes her eyes again on the drop down. Kaya walks up Raku and kicks her and Raku puts her and Maki to sleep. Raku then puts Neko to sleep. Raku wakes up Maki and they stomp on their opponents.

Maki and Raku do corner strikes as they stand on the 2nd rope then they trample their opponents and drop down on them for 2. Kaya hits a bad Japanese armdrag on Raku then Neko gets in and eye rakes Raku. Neko then butt drops Raku for 2 at 5 minutes.

Raku double reverse armbars Neko and sits on her back and flips her over. Kaya barely hits a spin kick on Maki and single leg dropkicks her for 2. Kaya does her fli poff the 2nd rope on Maki then Kaya backflip kicks Maki in the back for 2.

Maki bridging ddt's Kaya from the 2nd rope then puts her in a lion tamer. Neko breaks it up then Raku sling blades's Neko. Maki headbutts Kaya then ddt's her. She then lion tamer's her and wins it.

This wasn't anything special though better than it should have been with some of the people involved here.

Pom Harajuku vs Hyper Misao vs Yuki Kamifuku

Misao gets on the mic and makes Pom cry. Misao poses amd Pom pretends to take a photo of her. Yuki them stomps on her and Pom pretends to take a photo of her. Pom leg drops Misao then Pom and Yuki stand on her in the corner. Pom hits her lcubs and Yuki like eye rakes Misao in-between.

Pom shin kicks Misao then Yuki eye pokes Misao. Pom back rolls into a headscissors on Yuki but lets her go then Misao crossbodies Pom. Pom backrolls Yuki into a spinning headscissors. Pom walks up the buckles and armdrags Yuki.

Yuki octopus stretches Pom and Misao back elbows Yuki. Yuki suplexes Misao then Misao headscissors Pom and sleepers Yuki at the same time. Misao goes up top and Pom takes a hard dropkick into the buckles from Yuki. Pom facebusters her opponents at the same time and runs up the back of Misao and legdrops Yuki. Pom then rolls into a pin on Misao for 2. Misao then rolls up Pom for the win.

They kept it moving and I guess it was okay. I didn't get the invisible camera stuff or why Pom wouldn't attack Yuki early. Better than it should have been though and it flowed together.

Hikari Noa and Nao Kakuta vs Miyu Yamashita and Moka Miyamoto

Nao and Noa try kicks early but get blocked and countered. Moka and Miyu are put into each other then their opponents sit on them over the ropes. Noa and Nao then double basement dropkick Moka for 2.

Nao throws Moka by her hair. Noa hits a nice dropkick on Moka then Moka comes back with a nice slam. Miyu hits a jumping lariat on Noa then hits some front and back kicks for 2. Noa dropkicks Miyu and tags out. Miyu then takes a double team combo that ends in a bulldog and dropkicks.

Miyu triangle kicks Nao then Moka does her punch combo on Nao for 2. Moka then neckbreakers Nao for 2. Noa superkicks Miyu then takes a high kick then Nao tko's Moka for the win.

This was hard for me to call as Nao and Noa have similar looks and similarly spelled names. I didn't really think this was anything special.

Arisu Endo, Suzume & Yuki Aino vs. Magical Sugar Rabbits (Mizuki & Yuka Sakazaki) & Shoko Nakajima

Mizuki and Aino catch each others kick attempts early. Yuka back elbows Suzu then Suzu dropkicks her. Shoko stomps on Suzu then slimgshot sentons her. Suzu then comes back with a dropkick. Aino gets in. Mizuki double stomps her and pulls her to the apron. Mizuki then double stomps her and her partners join in.

Aino gets rolling snap mared and Yuka drops Mizuki on her for 2. Shoko and Aino trade forearms then Shoko flying corkscrew forearms her. Aino throws Shoko off the top then Shoko comes back with a headscissors and a dropkick. Aino blocks her 619 attempt then side suplexes her.

Endo gets in and does a double axe handler drop on Yuka and Yuka comes back with a spinning slam. Yuka rolls her up for an ankle lock but Endo hits the ropes. Yuka then sliding d's or sliding lariats her for 2 then brainbusters her for 2. Mizuki top rope crossbodies Endo then Endo top rope dropkicks her.

Suzu hits some dropkicks then top rope crossbodies Mizuki for 2. Mizuki hits a dropkick off the 2nd rope for 2 then crossfaces Suzume. Suzu did a nice springboard into a bulldog on Mizuki then Suzu and Endo double roll-up'd Mizuki. They then double snapmared and double dropkicked her for 2.

Shoko did a nice tope to the outside on Aino. Mizuki hit a real nice fallaway slam on Endo and bridged far enough to almost have her feet touch her head to win it.

The work was decent here but it was tough without the crowd being able to cheer.

Overall thoughts: The crowd couldn't cheer and it brings down these shows when that is the case. The main was pretty decent and the 3 way was alright but it wasn't a great show otherwise.
