Leon vs Madeline
They go to the mat to start. Mad drops down and gets stomped then does a sloppy kip-up armdrag. Mad walks up the ropes and poses then armbars Leon over the top rope. Leon then flip sentons her as she is on the mat and stretches her. Mad gets put on the top rope and does Leon's pose at her then is pulled down.
Mad cartwheel back elbows Leon then hammerlocks her but Leon hits the ropes. Leon hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker then does a high boston crab. Mad hits some chest kicks then gets an exploder suplex. Leon does a nice roll into a backbreaker over her back. Mad kicks her in the leg and gets a roll-up. Leon does a nice spinning slam and then spears her for 2. Leon then hits a top rope frogsplash to win it.
It was alright with Leon hitting everything near perfectly like she usually does and Madeline continuing to improve. You could have probably shaved a few minutes off of this and not lost anything.
Princess of POP Title - AKARI (c) vs Riko Kaiju
I really don't know if it's Riko or Rico. I've seen it spelled both ways on this channel and it's basically interchangeable in Japan anyway.
Akari hits a dropkick to start then slams her, then Riko hits some dropkicks back and crabs her. Riko hair throws her around and Akari comes back with a tarantula on the ropes. Riko hits a hard dropkick to the shoulder then they trade forearms. Riko then hits a nice neckbreaker for 2 and rolls her into an indian deathlock choke. Riko then turns it into a grounder sleeper but Akari rolls to the ropes.
Riko takes a 619 then a northern lights suplex. Riko comes back with a flurry of stomps then crossbodies her off the 2nd rope for 2. Akari comes back with a pump kick then tries some roll-ups for 2. Akari spinning lariats her then puts her in a deep tequila sunrise for the win.
They didn't note this on their video, but basically, each team has a captain. Neither team knows who the captain is and you can eliminate people by pinfall, submission or throwing them over the top.
Yone's team goofs around then attacks. Yone gets popped up into a knee the Momo gets popped up and drops a double knee on Yone. We get a 6 person sleeper hold and Yone gets running knees while on the ropes. Momo does her taunt on Yone's back. Momo then gets tied up in the ropes and a whole group of people pose around her. Makoto then double stomps her for 2.
Kakeru gets in and Momo drops a hard double knee on her back then Rydeen is tagged in and runs over Kakeru. Rydeen splashes all 3 opponents in the corner then splashes Kakeru for 2. Kak springboard twisting crossbodies Rydeen then dropkicks her from the buckles for 2. Makoto gets in and double knee drops Rydeen. Makoto spears her but she doesn't sell it then she superkicks Makoto.
Yone trades mongolian chops for Kaz's knees to the gut. Yone comes off the 2nd rope and lands on Kaz's shoulders and takes a cutter. They mess up a triple irish whip spot then splash people in 3 different corners, then do vader bomb style double knee drops. Kaz takes a bunch of moves and Yone sentons her off the 2nd rope. Yone goes for a code red but is lariated off then Momo gets on Rydeen's shoulders and is flipped onto Yone. We thought we had a pinfall as everyone stopped for a second, but it was not to be.
Rydeen side slams Makoto then Makoto takes a double knee drop from Kaz and Momo. Rydeen and Momo are laying on the 2nd rope and Makoto kicks the rope. Makoto thinks she has a pin but it turns out not to be again. Rydeen backdrops Kak and Makoto at the same time then vader bombs Makoto for 2.
Rydeen is on the top rope and Kak jumps off of Makoto's back to knock her over the ropes. They think this is a fall, but again, it is not. Momo gets beat up 2v1 then Makoto cartwheel kneedrops her for 2. Kak hits an STO on Momo then takes a codebreaker.
Momo tries to attack Makoto on the ropes but she tries to throw her over, then almost goes over herself. Kak tries to dropkick Makoto off the apron but Rydeen and Kazuki stop it then Kak and Momo knock Makoto off the ropes and the match ends soon after. Makoto was the mystery captain. Kazuki and Yoneyama argue after on the mic likely to set up a match.
The rules were confusing here especially since Pure-J didn't say what they were on their video. The rules were a bit silly and I think this would have worked better as an elimination match or a regular tag match. I did like this though. It was fast paced, the action really flowed together and Pure-J team really worked well together. They got a lot of time to do this as well. It was an entertaining match and maybe one I'd even recommend seeing.
Hanako Nakamori vs Crea
Crea dropkicks her in the back to start then is hair thrown. Crea chokes her over the top rope with her inner leg then dropkicks her as she is tied up in the ropes. Crea then hair throws her. Hana ties her up in the ropes and pushes on her head with her foot then goes to work on her leg. Hana then single leg crabs her but Crea hits the ropes.
Hana lights her up with kicks then Crea flurry chops her. Crea hits some face kicks and gets legdropped as her head is over the middle rope. Crea dragon screws her while she is up top then ankle locks her. Then later, Crea top rope dropkicks her for 2. Crea kneebreakers her over her knee then northern lights suplexes her for 2.
Hana comes back with a face kick then Crea dragon screws her. Crea hits a spinning high kick and a german for 2. Hana hits a high kick then running face kicks her for 2. Hana hits another high kick for a close 2. Hana then wins it with her shining wizard.
It wasn't as good as I had hoped. The ankle/leg work Crea did ultimately meant nothing and they really didn't go toe to toe exchanging strikes like I hoped. It's not like it was bad but it just wasn't the big singles match I expected.
Overall thoughts: It was an alright show. Not a blowaway show but all of the matches were at least passable and I did like the trios match.
