WWE NXT UK 2/11/2021

WWE NXT UK 2/11/2021

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2021/02/wwe-nxt-uk-242021.html

They showed clips of the feud between The Hunt and Andrews/Webster. Apparently earlier in the day Andrews and Webster beat up Wild Boar and Eddie Dennis will take Boar's place tonight in the street fight.

Isla Dawn vs Meiko Satomura

They called Meiko "The Final Boss" and this is her debut NXT UK match. They traded kicks to start and Meiko put on a headlock. Kay Lee Ray watched from the back. Isla kicked Meiko in the back then took a bunch of shots back with a spinning heel kick. Dawn hit a nice perfectplex for 2. Dawn came back with more kicks and did a double knee on her.

Dawn went up top and was superplexed down. Meiko then missed her first buzzsaw kick but came back with another kick on the way around. Dawn then Saito suplexed her for 2. They traded forearms and Meiko hit a great DDT on her before hitting the cartwheel axe kick. Meiko then hit the shining wizard axe kick to win in a pretty good match. Dawn hung in there well and did not look out of place.

Meiko and Ray stared down after and Ray told her to come on.

Rampage Brown met up with Joe Coffey. A video played. Johnny Saint said he wanted to see them fight and said next week they would fight. Joe said good to see you and glad you are here, but it is his kingdom.

They did a video on Dani Luna. She said it's nice to go into a room and be the strongest person in there. She is a powerlifter and said she won't stop until she reaches the top of the tower.

We had a video on Aoife Valkyrie. She talked about birds and said the time has come to take her chance to fly.

Meiko Satomura did a promo in Japanese then said she was ready for Kay Lee Ray.

Supernova Sessions with Noam Dar

He said his therapist says feelings aren't facts but he feels like he is the best and that's a fact. He brought out Sha Samuels. He didn't want to sit in a regular chair and Noam let him sit in his sofa with him. Sha said half the roster wouldn't be here without his hard work. He said he is not Ed Harvey, but Sha Samuels. Sid Scala then came in. Sha told him he was just the help and Dar corrected him. Sha said he was just having a laugh.

Dark said they should have Samuels vs A-Kid for the Heritage Cup. Scala said he would talk to Johnny Saint and consider it. Sha then wanted to tell a story about Dar in Amsterdam and Dar ended the show.

Nina Samuels said she accepts Xia Brookside's rematch but said Xia must become her personal assistant if she loses. She said all will be right in the world when Xia carries her bags.

Trent Seven did a video package. He said he has been working out and it is giving him a goal to reach. He said he feels good lifting weights and said he is focused on reaching 205lbs. He said he needs to push himself but it will be worth it when he wins the cruiserweight title.

Amale vs Piper Niven

They slapped each other to start and Piper splashed her. Joseph Connors came out to watch after costing Piper a match a few weeks ago. Amale attacked a distracted Niven then did a facewash kick to her. Piper cannonballed her in the corner then did a michinoku driver to win. This wasn't anything special.

We got a video package where Gallus and Pretty Deadly signed contracts for a title match in 2 weeks.

We get a video package on Ben Carter, showing his flips. They said he will be in action next week and they announce Sha Samuels vs A-Kid for the Heritage Cup next week. Joe Coffey vs Rampage Brown is also announced for next week.

Street Fight - Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster vs Eddie Dennis and Primate

The match begins in the back as Andrews was apparently thrown through a table. Then they throw him into the wall and slide an electrical box into him. Primate beats up Webster and takes him to the ring. Primate charges with a spear into the corner and eats the post hard, then Webster hits a destino on Dennis. Dennis whips Webster with his belt and Webster gets slammed on the mats outside. Webster takes a hard fall over the barricades.

Webster gets double teamed for a while. Mark Andrews climbs on top of something and does a huge moonsault off of it. They brawl around the arena and Wester does a flip dive from the apron onto Dennis. Primate throws Andrews over the rail then jump off of it onto Andrews. Andrews' mouth is busted open.

Everybody grabs a chair and heads inside at the same time and we get double chair duels. Dennis rams a chair into Andrews' knee and Webster hits Dennis with a helmet. Webster headbutts Primate then gets nailed with a kendo stick. Andrews comes back on Dennis but one knee shots puts him down. Andrews then turns a suplex attempt into a stunner. Andrews gets his knee worked over and rammed into a chair. Primate puts something like a calf crusher on it as Dennis yells at him.

Flash gets back in and slingshot moonsaults both opponents. Andrews hits a sunset bomb on Primate with Webster's help. Andrews and Webster grab kendo sticks and 2v1 Eddie. Andrews breaks his over the back of Eddie. Eddie's and Webster's backs are a mess with welts and a table is brought in. Andrews gets release german suplexed on the outside by Primate and Flash does a swanton from the top onto Eddie's back. Flash takes an exploder into the buckles.

Andrews springboards and takes a Primate spear. Eddie goes for a top rope splash mountain but Webster hurricanrana's him. Andrews moves out of the way and Primate spears the table in the corner. Andrews and Webster then hit a SSP and a 630 on their opponents with Andrews pinning Primate. Good stuff. It's hard to screw up street fights in some ways and they did not screw this up. We got some brawling, some weapons spots and a couple of cool spots.

Overall thoughts: 2 of the 3 matches were pretty good and as usual, this was a good showing by NXT UK.
