Quinn McKay welcomes us to the show and promises a good one.

La Faccion Ingobernables (Kenny King and Dragon Lee with Amy Rose) vs The Briscoe Brothers

I'd ask why Kenny King is in this faction, but he's always going to have a job with ROH.

Mark grabs King by the mouth as he is in a side headlock. Kenny does a nice spin out of a hammerlock and armdrags Mark, then grabs him by the beard. Mark gets whipped in the buckles and jumps off the 2nd buckle with a forearm. Lee slaps Jay on the chest and hurricanrana's him. Mark and Lee do some chops to each other in the corner and Mark is 2v1'd in the corner. King mounts and pounds Mark then stretches him.

Mark holds king and then Jay comes in to stomp him and then they 2v1 him. King gets thrown into the barriacde outside then is slammed on the floor. Mark then drops an elbow off the apron onto him. Mark suplexes King onto the apron and we go to break.

Back from break and King and Mark both clothesline each other with Mark taking a wild bump for it. Jay and Lee then pound each other and Lee gets face kicked. Lee backflips out of a lariat and does a backbreaker over the knee then takes a death valley driver. Mark hits an iconoslam on Lee Lee goes up top and Jay follows. Lee double stomps Jay from the tree of woe position then flip dives onto Mark. Lee then double stomps Jay from the top. King capture suplexes Jay for 2 then does a calf crusher type of move. Mark hits a froggy bow from the top and breaks it up.

We get a 2v2 forearm battle and Lee german suplexes Mark off the bounce on the ropes. Then Lee posionrana's Mark. Kenny does a Eddie Gordo kick. Lee tries to hurricanrana Mark over the top rope on the apron but Mark blocks it and Lee falls back first onto the apron. Jay hits a great neckbreaker on King then Flip Gordan attacks Mark while is on the top rope. King then rolls up Briscoe.

This was really good. The selling was a little lacking but man they went so fast, everything they hit looked violent and this was just very aggressive wrestling. Definitely one to check out, which I don't say often.

EC3 arrives as the Briscoes leave the ring. EC3 has shaved his head. He said honor can be bought and it is not real. He asked what really honor was. He said he really respects Jay and said Jay has never bent the knee. EC3 says he envies Jay and asks Jay if he honors his legacy and becomes world champ again or if he honors his emotions. EC3 says Jay is more free than he even knows and he controls his narrative. I'm not real sure what this was about but it was interesting.

Grudge Match - Bateman with Vita Von Starr vs Mike Bennett

This will have relaxed rules. Mike has some kind of mohawk haircut and looks awful with it. Mike spears Bateman at the bell and then stomps him. They trade chops on the outside and Mike charges at Bateman but runs into the rails. Bateman then lifts him and drops him. Bateman catapults Mike into the steel ring frame. We go to break and come back. Bateman backdrops Mike and Mike comes back with a superkick and a spinning clothesline.

They slow down and chop each other then forearm each other at the same time. Then they spinning forearm each other at the same time in a silly spot. You can hear a pin drop with how quiet it has gotten. Von Starr tells Bateman to "just murder him"  then Bateman hits a spinning forearm and a brainbuster. Mike hits another spear and a fast piledriver for the win.

I really liked the catapult spot and thought it should have ended the match because even if you block it, it is still really brutal. Unfortunately, they continued on and did some ill-advised double forearms and brought this one down.

Taven jumped Bateman after. They put a wood block between Bateman's legs and Taven calls out Vinny M. Taven said Vinny can stop it if he meets him a in a match. Vinny then gets on the video screen. He said Mike holds people down and is always told "yes". Vinny then says "no". Taven puts Bateman's ankle over the wood block and chairs it and Bateman does a great sell of it. Taven tells Bateman that this will continue until Vinny accepts a match between them.

Shane Taylor and Rush did dueling promos. He says he has next. Rush says when you mess with the bull, you get the horns. They meet next week in an ROH title match.

ROH World Six Man Tag Team Titles - Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Kaun and Moses) vs Mexisquad (Rey Horus, Flamita and Bandido)

Maria Kanellis is at the booth. They call Mexisquad the six man champs but that's not exactly true. They were stripped of the titles for not defending the titles and STP was awarded them but didn't accept, so the titles should be technically vacant.

They debate whether to shake hands then decide to. Shane's team goes after them at the bell. Horus gets dropped onto the barricade. Horus evades a face kick and does a top rope 619. They debate whether to shake hands then decide to. Shane's team goes after them at the bell. Horus gets dropped onto the barricade. Horus evades a face kick and does a top rope 619. Flamita body scissor takeovers him and he backs up as Moses comes in.

Moses Thesz presses Bandido. Bandido kips down to avoid a lariat and hits a jumping cutter on Moses. Horus tries to hurricanrana Taylor from the top and is popped-up and thrown down. Shane then makes him spin on a shoulder as we go to break. We come back and Horus wheelbarrows Moses and headscissor takedowns Kaun off of that. Horus does a twisting springboard tornado ddt. Bandido does a tornillo off the top but gets caught by Taylor.

Flamita jumps off of Bandido's shoulders into a hurricanrana on Taylor then the lucha guys all hit topes on their opponents. The Mexisquad then does dual flip topes and Asai moonsault on their opponents. Flamita hits a 450 on Shane which Moses breaks up. Kaun takes a double hiptoss into a triple powerbomb. Bandido tilt-a-whirl's Flamita and legsweeps Kaun. Bandido pops up Flamita who turns in mid-air and splashes Kaun.

Bandido tilt-a-whirl's Horus who ends up tornado ddt'ing Flamita. Moses lariats Bandido and Horus over the top then does a cannonball off the apron to them. Shane hits a rock bottom to Flamita and splashes him for 2. Shane then hits a sitout tombstone and wins it. This was a good match with the MexiSquad hitting a bunch of cool moves and Shane Taylor Promotions being good big men against them.

Overall thoughts: A really good edition of ROH, certainly one of the best I've seen in some time. The King/Lee vs Briscoes match was really good and the main had a lot of good stuff in it too.
