Ice Ribbon New Ice Ribbon #1095 ~ Winter Story 1/23/2021

Ice Ribbon New Ice Ribbon #1095 ~ Winter Story 1/23/2021

Hamuko Hoshi, Tsukushi Haruka & Yappy vs. Miku Aono, Mochi Miyagi & Thekla

This is clipped form the start. Hamuko's team triple teams Thekla and poses on her on the ropes. Tsukushi dropkicks her while she is tied in the ropes. Tsukushi hits some great forearms on Thekla and Thekla hits her back. Thekla superkicks her and pump kicks her in the gut.

Yappy bronco buster's Thekla on the bottom rope then Tsukushi dropkicks her through the ropes. Thekla gets on all fours in a bridge and poses then knocks over Yappy. Thekla then wins it soon after with a nice indian deathlock. This was missing too much of the match to comment on.

Arisa Nakajima and Yuuki Mashiro vs Ibuki Hoshi and Nao Ishikawa

Ibuki and Yuuki go at it early then Arisa comes in and face kicks then throws Ibuki. Arisa kicks her in the back then dorpkicks her right in the face for 2. Nao hits some crossbodies on Arisa but Arisa yakuza kicks her. We cut ahead to Yuuki and Nao trading forearms to the chest. Hoshi's team blows some moves on the ropes on Yuuki then Hoshi blows a running cutter. Yuuki does a nice shoulder throw on Hoshi.

Arisa gets in and Hoshi throws some chops at her but it doesn't bug Arisa much. Arisa does a stiff missile dropkick on Ibuki for 2. Aria runs the ropes and her teammate and opponent throw Yuuki into her to trip her for some unknown reason. Arisa then slaps Yuuki hard for it and pulls her into the ring to help by her hair. Arisa asks for a high 5 and Yuuki gives it to her, then she kicks her in the gut and slams her on Yuuki, which they mess up.

Arisa goes up top and double stomps Ibuki. Nao crossbodies Arisa from the top and Ibuki does the same. Arisa hits a hard release german on Ibuki, but she comes back without selling it and rolls up Arisa for 2. Arisa grabs Ibuki's leg and suplexes her for the win. This wasn't any good with the botches and I hate teammates attacking teammates. Yuuki gives a thumbs up to Arisa after and gets slapped for it.

Triangle Ribbon Title Match - Ram Kaicho (c) vs. Cherry vs. Matsuya Uno

Cherry and Uno team upto double kick and double pound Ram, but Ram comes back with a double bulldog. Ram double crossbodies Uno and Cherry and we jump cut ahead. Uno lays on Ram and Cherry double stomps her, then rolls her off for a pin attempt. Uno goes up top and Cherry tries to throw her onto Ram but Ram moves.

Cherry leg locks Ram but Ram hits the ropes. Uno puts Ram in a camel clutch. Cherry runs the ropes to seemingly dropkick her, but dropkicks Uno instead. Uno STO's Cherry into a pin attempt and they wrestle on the mat some. Uno does a nice roll into a pin attempt which Ram stops then Uno rolling armbars Ram. Cherry tries to pin Uno while she armbars Ram but gets a 2.

Cherry grabs the ref and whips him into two people in the corner, then dropkicks him but doesn't get dq'd. Everyone tries roll-ups but nobody wins it. Ram hits a bad stunner on Uno then codebreakers Cherry for 2. Cherry does a nice roll into a pin but Uno breks that up. Ram 619's Uno and does a top rope la silla to win in a bad match. This was just all over the place with everyone working sloppy and it was hard to follow.

Kurumi Hiragi, Risa Sera and Akane Fujita vs Totoro Satsuki, Rina Yamashita and Itsuki Aoki

3 people get body slammed in stereo to start. Totoro and Aoki double shoulder Sera. Sera and Aoki trade forearms and Aoki hits her with a reverse STO. Sera drops double knees on Aoki from the Vader Bomb position for 2.

Fujita gets in and waterwheel drops Aoki for 2. She does a bad looking chest bump to her from the 2nd rope. Aoki gets powerbombed by Fujita then Sera does a springboard double knee onto her. Sera brings in a chair and nails her own partner by mistake then Aoki does a delayed german on Fujita to win it. This was really clipped and I know we didn't even come close to the 14:15 that this went.

International Ribbon Tag Team Title Match - Rebel X Enemy (Maika Ozaki & Maya Yukihi) (c) vs Joint Army (Rina Shingaki & Tae Honma)

Maya hits some bad kicks to start and does a neat headlock takeover. Honma does a springboard armdrag to Maya. Maya chokes Rina with her foot in the ropes. Ozaki camel clutches Rina and Maya kicks her while she is in the clutch. Rina does a standing clutch hammerlock and does a nice codebreaker on Maika's arm. Tae and Maika botch a senton as Tae doesn't get out of the way in time.

Maika gets put in the rings of saturn by Tae and hits the ropes but Tae continues to work her arm. They trade some forearms and Tae flurries Maika down. Maika hits Tae with double gutwrench suplexes. She goes up top and Tae does a cool rolling armbar drop down on her which Maya breaks up.

Maya sharpshooters Rina but of course Rina doesn't submit. Tae ankle locks Maya on the top rope and Maya comes back to knee Rina through the bottom rope. Rina then puts an ankle lock on Maya and Maya hits the ropes. Maya comes back with a high kick on Rina and a suplex for 2.  Tae an Ozaki trade some forearms and Ozaki hits a nice lariat on her. Rina jumps onto Maya and takes her down then does a neat grounded octopus stretch with the legs tied up. Maika breaks it up with a senton at 15 minutes. Maika racks Rina and Maya nails Rina with a flying knee, then Maika spin drops her.

Maika and Maya hit stereo slams onto their opponents but it is only for 2. Maya then hits a hard tiger driver on Rina to win it. I liked the arm and leg work here to try and get a story going but I thought they could have done a better job with it as the finish didn't really involve it and the beginning didn't involve it. It was better than average but could have been really good with more time and some of the improvements I mentioned.

ICExInfinity Title Match - Suzu Suzuki (c) vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto

Suzu does a nice cartwheel and flip out of a wristlock early. They both try tying each other up in the ropes and hitting dropkicks to the back. Tsuka crossfaces Suzu but Suzu makes the ropes. Tsuka gets put on the middle rope then Suzu slides under her and german suplexes her. Tsuka puts her in an octopus stretch and then puts a red towel around her neck while she does it.

Tsuka rushes at Suzu and is dropkicked back then dropkicked in the corner. Suzu bridges to escape an enzugiri attempt. They roll each other up and Tsuka flips out of it and chest kicks her, then she missile dropkicks her back. Tsuka goes up top and Suzu brings her down to bang her head off the apron. Suzu then does a head and arm submission to her. but Tsuka hits the ropes.

Tsuka ties her arms up, then trips her and strangeholds her but Suzu hits the ropes again. Tsuka hits her with a blockbuster from the top for 2 and then does more back and chest kicks to her. Tsuka hits her infinity move, which is where she side flips her opponent from the octopus stretch position. She hits a great release german which Suzu doesn't sell, then Suzu gives her an infinity back.

They trade some forearms then Suzu spins her around and does a flying chest kick, but Tsuka comes back with a double chop. Tsuka goes for something like a sunset bomb but Suzu counters it with a Tequila Shot. Suzu half nelson's her then does a spin out bomb, then hits her with a standing spanish fly. It doesn't really anywhere as Tsuka then hits an infinity for 2. Tsuka goes for an ocean cyclone suplex but Suzu reverses it into a pinfall attempt then they both trade nearfall pin attempts. Tsuka hits a nice wrap around pin attempt from the wheelbarrow position. She then runs up the ropes and does a kick which I think is called the Venus Shoot to win the match. This really wasn't anything special with no real story and not too much drama. The selling wasn't that good either.

Overall thoughts: This show was ruined by the edits. The first couple matches weren't good but had a bunch of edits in them. The top two matches didn't deliver either and it was overall disappointing.
