Retro and Sangre Imperial vs Yago and El Cholo

Sangre's robe is awesome and Yago's entrance was super cool with the chainsaw. Simple matwork to start then Retro takes a double hammerlock and flips out of it, then flips his opponents. Sangre leapfrogged over both opponents. Cholo hit a pop up powerbomb and Yago got a submission to win the first. Retro armdrags Cholo off the top in the 2nd fall and Yago grabs the ref during the count, stopping it. Retro really does fit the gimmick and totally moves like a retro dude. Sangre bothces a fameasser on Cholo and Retro hits a generic fallaway slam for the 2nd fall win. In the 3rd, Yago accidentally dropkicked Retro in the nuts when he rolled behind. Sangre did a crossbody on both guys and Retro did the most generic top rope splash ever to win.

Princesa Sugehit, Jarochita and Maligna vs Metalica, Reyna Isis and Seductora

La Guerrera is substituting for Princesa Sugehit here. Reyna and Guerrera pull at each other's hair early. Lots of Guerrera armdrags here and she even walks to the top rope and walks it a little to armdrag her. Guerrera tries a flip going up the middle rope but beefs it and gets stomped for it. Jaro comes in with some fire hitting hurracanrana's and a nice dropkick. She goes for a 2nd back armdrag on and Seductora lets her spin and flop. Jaro facewashes Metalica for the 1st fall win. Jaro gets 2v1'd early and the rudas mostly control it. Reyna gets the 2nd fall win on Guerrera with a Vader Bomb. Jaro gets spread eagle in the corner on the 2nd rope and they dropkick her in the stomach. La Guerrera then is standing on the outside and Seductora hooks her legs around her and starts pulling back and choking. We get a finisher/submission stretch with no one being able to finish it. Metallica eliminated Jaro with a swanton then she spikes Guerrera with a double underhook sitout piledriver for the win. Guerrera is holding her neck after and she really did hit hard. This was fine and I liked Jaro's energy a lot.

Star Jr., Magia Blanca and Pegasso vs Raziel, Cancerbero and Universo 2000 Jr.

Magia Blanca

Star Jr.

Universo 2000 Jr.

Raz trades holds with Magia early and they stand off once finished. Universo trades with Star and cleans his clock with a great forearm. Star runs up the top and Uni's partners take him down the hard way. Uni clears house and is clearly getting a push. Star has a thing happen to him on the ramp that I gif'd and Uni drops 2 knees on Magia's chest to eliminate him. Then Pegasso is eliminated with the Queen Angelito Stretch for the rudos 1st fall win. Pegasso gets tied up and hung by his legs and Uni dropkicks him. We get a triple kick-out on a pin attempt. Star and Pegasso do big dives to the outside and Star also mose does a header. Magia then does a tornillo from the top on Universo and takes the fall. Magia tries to shoulderblock Uni but goes flying. Star runs up Raz in the corner and moonsaults, then does a cool headscissors. Magia tornillo's Uni on the outside and Star does a running SSP on Raz, while Peg picks up a pin and they get the match win. This was good with a lot of action, though the technico's didn't really get that much in.

Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Fuego

Maya hits a nice springboard armdrag then topes Fuego hard into the rails. Fuego comes back with a flip tope of his own. Feugo walks up the ropes and hurracanrana's Maya on top. A cameraman gets hit on a slide but he's okay. Feugo tries for a asai moonsault but Maya counters with boots. Maya wins it with an underhook neckbreaker mostly out of nowhere at 6:25. This didn't really click like you would hope.

Kraneo, Stuka Jr. and Volcano vs Templario, Luciferno and Ephesto

Kraneo, Mije and Volcano are wearing gorilla costumes. Temp looks awesome in the black and gold. Luc nuts Volcano right in front of the ref and nothing happens. Volc flips into the ropes and misses, then gets pinned with Kraneo, who gets dropkicked by Temp. There was more to the fall, but it still wasn't anything notable. Stuka gets held up and takes some Ephesto slaps. Stuka then pins Ephesto with boring rana. Temp gets a single bronco buster from Kraneo. The 3rd was boring with Kraneo and Volcano getting their lame offense in. They ended up winning with dual 2nd rope splashes.

Caristico, Atlantis and Soberano Jr. vs Mr. Niebla, Forastero and Felino

Atlantis is done. He's struggling just to make it to the ring. Niebla trips on the ring apron and goes down. They brawl around the ring early. Caristico tope's Fora on the outside and then Sober does his tornillo on Niebla to win the mostly nothing fall. Niebla steamrolls out Sober who hits the floor hard. Caristico does his nice flipping armdrag from the top and sends out Fora. Niebla does some dancing and I think catches his spit in his mouth which grosses everyone out. Caris does a long satellite headscissors. Fora goes to kick Mistico low, he blocks it, then Fora takes off his mask and gets DQ'd, stupidly. That's it. A pointless waste of time main event.

Overall thoughts: The main was lame and the semi-main wasn't any good either. As often with CMLL shows and different from most shows, the more matches they had, the worse they got.
