Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling ~ Ready Set, Go ~ 4/13/2019
スプリングツアー'19~READY SET, GO!~
Results: https://www.ddtpro.com/results/2733

This is my first TJPW show in 2 years and the promotion has definitely changed a ton since last time: http://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2017/02/ddt-tokyo-joshi-puroresu-142017.html

We got an opening song performance.

Rika Tatsumi & Haruna Neko vs Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu

Rika Tatsumi

Neko in the black, Pom in the multi-colored attired
Neko is SMALL and since her name means cat, she claws like one. Pom in the multi-colored attire kicks people in the shins.

Mahiro works over Rika
The finish

Rika and Neko got the win here when Rika put a Dragon Sleeper on Mahiro. The opening of this was real bad with Neko just chilling in the corner waiting for them. And while I like Rika's ASS BASED OFFENSE, it's not real good.

Reika Saiki Vs YUMI

The finish

Reika won with a torture rack. YUMI is awful(and tall) and threw some of the worst strikes you've ever seen. YUMI got whooped by Reika who is a true pro and just miles above her as a worker in every way. This was a quick whooping for YUMI here.

Pandemic Boo-Boo (Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa) Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa

Natsumi Maki

Mina Shirakawa
I knew Mina before she was a wrestler. She and her partner came out to the Old McDonald song. No, I'm not joking.

Yuki Kamifuku is TALL and has long legs

Maki's team got the win. Not a bad match. Saki is the tallest girl I've ever seen. Saki hit a supersized dropkick here that legit could have KO'd someone here and Mina worked the submissions. Maki has a really cool dance girl character.

Magical Sugar Rabbits (Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki) Vs Yuna Manase & Himawari Unagi
The Rabbits come out to the most ridiculous theme ever.

Himawari Unagi(green) and Yuna Manase(purple/black)

Mizuki in the pink, Yuka in the green/red

The Rabbits got the win here with a top drop dropkick. This was mostly comedy with the girl in the green(Yuka) and red having some pretty good Kairi Sane like elbows. Their opponents big chests are part of their gimmick and they did some chest related moves.

NEO Biishiki-gun (Saki Akai & Hyper Misao) Vs Miu Watanabe & Raku

Miu in the pink, Raku in the yellow. Saki with her stomach showing, Misao with the black pants.

Saki pimpslapped Miu with a rose. Ouch. Saki looks like Andre the Giant when compared to her opponents.

The heels got the win with the double underhook drop above. The heels controlled almost all of this with Miu getting some comebacks but ultimately getting bullied. I like new heel Hyper Misao  and Saki is always good. Miu wasn't bad here at all.

Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima & Marika Kobashi Vs Maki Ito & Bakuretsu Sisters (Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino)

This looked like it sucked to take
Shoko Nakajima picked up the win here. Kind of a quicker match than you would expect. Nothing wrong with it but it didn't stand out. The focus here was Miyu vs Ito rivaling each other. Miyu was her usual good stuff here and Ito was cute as always. The big highlights were Miyu's headkick that I capped above and I believe Shoko grabbing Nodoka who was laying on the middle rope and then side-suplexng them at an almost perfect 180 degree angle.

After the match, Shoko tried to grab Miyu's belt, and they stared down and talked smack.

Overall thoughts: Nothing you'd need to go out of your way to see. It had a mix of people at all kinds of skill levels and was half comedy/half serious, like DDT. It was still enjoyable though. TJPW has some nice acts. Thanks to the /joshi/ crew for helping me catch up!

All pictures belong to the people who took them. Here's some other shots I found from after the show:
