WrestleCircus 10/16/2016 - Keith Lee vs Donovan Dijak

WrestleCircus 10/16/2016 - Keith Lee vs Donovan Dijak

The finish
Donovan Dijak won with a skytwister press. This was interesting. Dijak is the least imposing tall guy I've ever seen and is also the most athletic tall guy I've ever seen in wrestling. He's definitely an enigma and someone to keep an eye on. He's like 6'5+ but might as well be 5'10 with his moves. I've always wondered what a tall wrestler that could flip would look like and this is it. My initial thoughts are that he is the perfect ROH wrestler but I'm a bit disappointed by him. He's a bit too choreographed and doesn't really know how to work his size. Lee wasn't that bad here. The match was okay but I think if they would have just done a normal strong style hoss match it would have been a lot better. The hoss spots they did do were good, but those were few and far between. Dijak's Burning Hammer into a knee finisher is pretty ugly looking and the crowd chanting "this is awesome" was cringe worthy. I would only really recommend it as a curiosity as it is interesting and it's not that bad, but it could have been better.

And what company films from behind a ring post? Seriously? I could have someone film wrestling who has never seen a camera and even they would think that's a stupid idea.
