Big Japan Pro Wrestling 7/24/2016 - BJW Death Match Heavyweight Title, Scaffold & G Shock Death Match - Kakuro Hoshino vs Ryuji Ito
I love BJW Scaffold Matches. No one does it better.

Ito with the gloves and more hair, Hoshino with the smug look on his face |

Ito throws a cactus at him to start the fun |

The finish |
Kakuro Hoshino beat Ryuji Ito with a senton off the scaffold. I didn't really like this match. They turned a dive off of the seats through a table into an opening match spot for starters and all of Hoshino's offense involves doing sentons. While there's nothing wrong with sentons, when he is doing them onto various weapons like he did here, he's hurting himself and his opponent, which just looks dumb. So many times I had to ask myself - Did that hurt Hoshino or Ito more? They used the cement blocks too much here and they broke so easy that it didn't mean much. Also kind of thought the syringe spot was dumb as Ito just kept it in.
Don't get me wrong, the match could have been worse, but with all of that stupid stuff, it was hard to take it seriously and it really hurt the match. It didn't feel like a war or two guys trying to kill each other. It just felt like a demonstration of various spots and didn't really work out. Really don't recommend this one at all.
