J9w Osunaarashi
(4-2) vs J6w Homasho (5-1)
This was close but Homasho was correctly awarded the win. Homasho had a great grip that drove Osuna back. Osuna went for a twist but stepped out. A shame too as he could have snuck this out.

Asa struggled from the start here and was just overpowered by Tochinowaka, who is looking really good this basho.

S1e Myogiryu
(2-4) vs O1w Kotoshogiku (5-1)
Cheap henka win for Mygoriyu here. I feel bad for Koto as this is the second day in a row it has happened.

M3w Aminishiki
(2-4) vs O2w Kotooshu (5-1)
Koto sidestepped Ami who was too low and grabbed the back of the belt to put him down. A well deserved loss after Ami's stupid Henka on Kotoshogiku yesterday. I wouldn't be shocked if this was payback.
Kakuryu vs Takekaze
Kakuryu pulled from the neck and shoulder and got an easy win here.
Harumafuji vs Kyokutenho
Haruma pushed by the throat, got Kyoku in trouble then got behind him. Kyoku gave up from there.
Hakuho vs Chiyotairyu
Hakuho won easy here with a brutal tachi-ai that knocked Chiyo mostly down.
